Abstract

Kampung Keranggan located on the banks of the Cisadane River, is a pilot project of a tourism village in South Tangerang. However, both as a settlement and a place frequently visited by families, this kampung does not yet have a children playground. This space is very important, especially when an educational function is added to it. The vast landscape in this kampung is available and some area could be designed as a children playground equipped with installation to play. In this paper, the community engagement service activity is to design and to implement children's play installations, also served as educational facilities, namely tubulum and xylophone. Both are percussion instruments to train children’s audio sensory. These installations are made of PVC pipe and some household cutleries added on xylophone. This activity was begun with field observations and discussions with the management, making a digital installation design, making installation components in the workshop, and assembling and placing the installation on site. The principle of the installation design is to use materials that are easy to obtain and assemble, and are light in weight. These installations support tourist attraction activities in Keranggan Village and encourages children to play because this installation is placed in strategic place so visitors can easily play it and children are attracted because of its unique shape.

Abstract

The simple sciences we have studied so far are often not realized by today's society. However, it can inspire the development of an idea to create products and innovations. In this case, the team makes a product using simple technology, installing musical instruments based on used materials or materials that can be purchased easily, especially PVC pipes. The community service in Keranggan Village aims to provide education about simple science by installing musical instruments that anyone can make. This, of course, also affects the condition of Kampung Keranggan as an Ecotourism Village, which tourists often visit to learn about nature. The method used in this community service activity is making a design model for installing musical instruments and workshops on assembling them. The resulting indicator of success is in the form of the community's increased knowledge that the science we have learned so far can be applied to musical instruments. And the public can make simple musical instrument installations using materials that are easy to find and can be commercialized. --- Ilmu sains sederhana yang selama ini kita pelajari kerap kali tidak disadari oleh kalangan masyarakat saat ini. Padahal hal tersebut dapat menjadi inspirasi mengembangkan suatu ide untuk menciptakan produk dan inovasi. Dalam hal ini tim membuat produk berupa teknologi sederhana berupa instalasi alat musik berbahan dasar material bekas pakai atau bahan yang dapat dibeli dengan mudah, khususnya pipa PVC. Pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan pada Kampung Keranggan bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi tentang ilmu sains sederhana melalui sebuah instalasi alat musik yang dapat dibuat oleh siapapun. Hal ini tentunya berpengaruh juga terhadap kondisi Kampung Keranggan sebagai Kampung Ekowisata yang kerap dikunjungi oleh wisatawan untuk belajar tetang alam. Metode yang dilakaukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah dengan pembuatan model desain instalasi alat musik serta workshop tentang cara tata perakitan. Indikator keberhasilan yang dihasilkan berupa pengingkatan pengetahuan oleh masyakarat bahwa ilmu sains yang selama ini kita pelajari dapat diterpakan pada alat musik. Serta masyarakat dapat  membuat instalasi alat musik sederhana dapat menggunakan material yang mudah ditemukan dan bisa dikomersialkan.

Abstract

The effectiveness of school-university collaboration through the teaching assistance scheme as part of the Emancipated Learning Emancipated Campus (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka - MBKM) program. This research aims to analyze factors that influence the effectiveness of the MBKM program through the teaching assistant schemes in schools. The research was conducted using multiple linear regression method with SPSS as the tool. The independent variables were students’ interest and learning facilities, and the dependent variable was effectiveness. The result of the f test showed that students’ interest and learning facilities jointly affect 60.4% of the effectiveness of the MBKM implementation. Based on the results of the t test, interest had an influence of 40.221% on the effectiveness of MBKM implementation and learning facilities had an influence of 20.2176% on the effectiveness of MBKM implementation. From the results, it can be concluded that the teaching assistant scheme in schools had an influence of 60.4%, consisting of 40.2% students’ interest in SMKN 4 of South Tangerang towards MBKM activities and 20.2% learning facilities provided by mentors as teachers.
