Abstract

The problem that occurs in schools is that the real condition is learning in TK/RA children. Learning media is not complete and there is no visual form of learning media that can be used to develop the cognitive aspects of students. This is because seen from the characteristics of the material it requires a visual explanation in the form of a stationary object but can be used as an innovative learning medium. In addition, printed books are considered less motivating and increase the attractiveness of students in learning so that learning outcomes cannot be maximized. From these problems, the ideal condition to be achieved is the need to develop a learning media in the form of interactive and innovative media that can provide knowledge to students. With interesting media, it is hoped that it can increase motivation, the attractiveness of students to learn so that it can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Community service is carried out to the teachers of SDN Gondangwetan 1 Pasuruan in the form of lifeskill-based interactive multimedia training and mentoring. The purpose of this service is to improve the understanding and skills of teachers in creating interactive multimedia based on life skills to improve educational services. The implementation method is in the form of activity planning, activity implementation, implementation techniques, monitoring and evaluation and recognition. The results and discussion of this service are an enthusiastic increase in the understanding process and interactive multimedia products based on life skills so as to improve educational services at SDN Gondangwetan 1 Pasuruan.

Abstract

The problem on this class action research is caused by less optimal in process of mathematics teaching  at SDN Jangur sumberasih sub-district Probolinggo regency which has implication in getting low results of learning mathematics especially on the comparison and scale study. This research aims to describe the implementation of guided discovery method in improving the results of learning mathematics in comparison and scale study on the students in grade 5 at SDN Jangur. The Research Methodology using qualitative approach with interactive descriptive method. The subject of the research include the headmaster and the teachers and students. The technique of data collection in this research using the observation, interview, and study of documentation. The results obtained from the research is the implementation of guided discovery method on the students at SDN Jangur that is be able to improve to be active, motivated and get interest in learning. It will increase the value of student learning that is from pre-action of the students’ average score that only got 55,25 and in frist cycle, the average score of student increase to be 72 then the average score is 83,9 in the second cycle. Therefore in the process of learning a teacher must be able to make the students active, motivated and has spirit in learning. One of the teachers can implement guided discovery method in learning process to make the students achieve the goal of learning that want to be achieved.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa melalui metode diskusi berbantuan media gambar berbentuk puzzle materi jenis-jenis pekerjaan pada siswa kelas III di SDN Wringinanom I Probolinggo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SDN Wringinanom 1 yang berjumlah 17 siswa, terdiri dari 11 siswa laki-laki dan 6 siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara tidak terstruktur dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode diskusi berantuan media gambar berbentuk puzzle, dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas III SDN Wringinaom 1 Probolinggo. Peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa dari rata-rata pratindakan sebesar 64,1 kemudian pada siklus I menjadi 67,5 dan meningkat lagi pada siklus II menjadi 91,2 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar masing-masing sebesar 64,1%, 67,5%, dan 91,2%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa dari nilai 64,1 menjadi 67,5 sehingga mengalami kenaikan sebesar 3,4. Nilai 67,5 menjadi 91,2 mengalami kenaikan sebesar 23,7. Peningkatan hasil belajar tersebut sebesar 12,06. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai yang diperoleh siswa sebelum dilakukan tindakan nilai rata-rata 65,88 dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 47,05 % meningkat menjadi 72,94 dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 64,70 % dan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 77,94 dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 82,35 %.
