Abstract

Refrigeration is one way to maintain the temperature of a material or a room at a lower level than the ambient temperature conditions around it by absorbing heat from the material or room. The refrigeration system that is widely used today for industrial purposes is to use a vapor compression cycle, where in this vapor compression cycle one of the components that has an important role is the compressor. Over time, the performance of the compressor will decrease, so it will affect the heat absorption process of the material to be cooled. With the reduced ability of the heat absorption process, it will reduce the efficiency level of the compressor. Based on the results of the efficiency analysis on the performance of the refrigeration system compressor at PT. XYZ, then the efficiency value is 73.98%.

Abstract

Laboratorium IPS sebagai salah satu prasarana penunjang proses pembelajaran IPS di sekolah semakin berkembang, hal ini terlihat mulai dari munculnya laboratorium IPS dibeberapa daerah. Fenomena tersebut belum didapati di SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Purworejo. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: kendala-kendala sekolah dalam penyediaan laboratorium IPS di SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Purworejo Kabupaten Purworejo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Purworejo, yaitu SMP Negeri 1 Purworejo, SMP Negeri 2 Purworejo, SMP Negeri 4 Purworejo, SMP Negeri 6 Purworejo, SMP Negeri 31 Purworejo. Penelitian ini dimulai dari bulan Januari- Juni 2019. Data yang dikumpulkan yaitu berupa data kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala sekolah bidang sarana prasarana dan Guru IPS. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data kualitatif Miles dan Huberman dengan langkah-langkah yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: kendala sekolah dalam penyediaan laboratorium IPS dapat diklasifikasikan menjadi dua yaitu kendala eksternal dan kendala internal. Kendala eksternal dalam penyediaan laboratorium IPS di SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Purworejo adalah kebijakan atau peraturan pemerintah yang tidak mewajibkan setiap SMP memiliki laboratorium IPS. Kendala internal yang dihadapi sekolah dalam penyediaan laboratorium IPS berupa skala prioritas kebutuhan setiap SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Purworejo yang belum memprioritaskan laboratorium IPS, anggaran dana yang terbatas, jumlah ruang yang terbatas, lahan yang sempit dan terbatas, pengetahuan tentang keberadaan laboratorium IPS yang masih kurang, dan belum memiliki tenaga di bidang laboratorium

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the efforts of blended learning in increasing interest in learning Social Sciences in a secondary school. This study uses the Kemmis McTaggart action research model. The research was carried out throughout two cycles. Each cycle includes four levels, namely planning, implementation of activities, supervision, and contemplation consisting of 3 meetings per cycle. The data collection techniques used were observation forms, field notes, documents, questionnaires, and tests. A descriptive analysis of qualitative data was used to analyze the data. The results of the study prove that the use of blended learning in this school can increase interest in learning social studies using the blended learning phase between traditional courses and virtual/virtual courses. In-class learning and teacher-supervised mixed learning, and virtual classroom learning require students to study independently without teacher supervision. Using this type of learning will increase students' interest in learning from Cycle I to Cycle II. The average value of the first cycle is 63.5%, and the average value of the second cycle is 81%. Various aspects also experienced development. From cycle I to cycle II the average aspect of student attention experienced an escalation of 20%. From Cycle I to Cycle II, thirst increased by an average of 17%. Activity increased by an average of 19%. Cycle I and Cycle II curiosity increased by 21%. Enjoyment period I to period II increased by 17%. Confidence increased 16% from Cycle I to Cycle II.
