Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of social competence, self-efficacy and knowledge sharing on ​​employee performance at a private higher education institution in the city of Semarang, namely Semarang Schools of Economics. In this study, the sampling was carried out using purposive sampling and during the distribution process, a sample of 66 respondents was obtained. The analysis technique of this research uses multiple regression analysis. This research also conducted instrument test of reliability and validity, classical assumption test, hypothesis testing through t test, model feasibility test through F test and coefficient of determination. The results showed that social competence had a positive effect on employee performance. The direction of the positive regression coefficient indicates a positive influence of social competence on employee performance. Self efficacy has a positive effect on employee performance. The direction of the positive regression coefficient indicates a positive influence of self-efficacy on employee performance, Knowledge sharing has a positive effect on employee performance. The direction of the positive regression coefficient indicates a positive influence of knowledge sharing on employee performance.

Abstract

Kajian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya potensi wisata dan ekonomi kreatif yang beragam dan Kabupaten Kendal mendapatkan predikat sebagai Smart City, namun sayang pengelolaan yang dilakukan selama ini terkesan apa adanya tanpa konsep, arah, dan strategi yang jelas. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji ekonomi kreatif di Kabupaten Kendal. Kajian ini merupakan kajian survei. Metode kajian dengan kombinasi kajian metode kuantitatif. Kajian ini melihat dan mengkaji tentang kajian tentang pembangunan ekonomi kreatif di Kabupaten Kendal. Pemilihan lokasi ini dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive) yaitu Kabupaten Kendal. Populasi dan sampel dalam kajian ini adalah pelaku UMKM sebanyak 4.957 UMKM yang terdaftar di Data UMKM Kabupaten Kendal tahun 2021 Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan total sampling. Sumber data yaitu sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan metode survey primer dan sekunder dan metode diskusi dan wawancara. Metode analisis data yaitu analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil kajian ekonomi kreatif di Kabupaten Kendal yaitu dari 17 sub sektor ekonomi kreatif, maka Kabupaten Kendal ada 4 yaitu kuliner, aplikasi, fashion, dan kriya, serta paling banyak sub sektor kuliner sebesar 71,43% dengan jenis kelamin pelaku ekonomi kreatif paling banyak perempuan sebesar 59,01%, dan kategori ekonomi kreatif paling banyak pelaku/perorangan sebesar 97,73%.

Abstract

Women's participation in the world of work has made a major contribution to family welfare. In general, women are encouraged to make a living by the demands of the household economy, this is due to the ever-increasing family needs, while real income does not always increase.. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of worker motivation, work pressure and income satisfaction of women cleaning swallow's nests as a family economic contribution in East Ungaran. The population in this study were 30 female swallow nest cleaning workers. The sample in this study amounted to 30 samples. This sample was obtained by using saturated sampling technique. This research data analysis tool uses multiple linear regression. The results showed that motivation (p value 0.000), work pressure (p value 0.000), and income satisfaction (p value 0.000) of female swiftlet nest cleaning workers had a positive effect on the economic contribution of families in East Ungaran. Suggestions for women's work to increase the role of women in the family economy by increasing the economic contribution through being more self-motivated at work, making work pressure a passion for work and trying to work well so as to create income satisfaction. Keep prioritizing the family, and the duties of women in the family even though they have to look for additional income.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya nilai hasil belajar mata kuliah perialuku organisasi mahasiswa kelas D Prodi Manajemen STIE Semarang Tahun Akademik 2020/2021. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar mata kuliah perilaku organisasi menggunakan metode demonstrasi pada mahasiswa kelas D Prodi Manajemen Tahun Akademik 2020/2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan tes.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar mata kuliah perilaku organisasi ini dilihat dari persentase ketuntasan tiap siklus. Mahasiswa yang dinyatakan tuntas pada prasiklus berdasarkan hasil tes ada 15 mahasiswa (29,92%), siklus I menjadi 23 mahasiswa (75,38%) dan siklus II, 25 mahasiswa (88,46%). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan hasil belajar mata kuliah perilaku organisasi pada mahasiswa kelas D Prodi Manajemen STIE Semarang Tahun Akademik 2020/2021.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the most developed creative industries in Indonesia and are able to make significant contribution to Indonesia's GDP (Gross Domestic Product), but the high growth of MSMEs has not been able to create sustainable MSMEs performance. Factors that influence each other include network capability, marketing performance, knowledge creation, and product innovation. This study aims to enhancing marketing performance in MSMEs: empirical research from Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. The sample in this study were 109 respondents of MSME owners in Semarang City. The data collection method used questionnaire distributed to MSMEs owners through Google Forms. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and structural equation modelling with the Smart PLS program. The results showed that network capability has positive and significant effect on product innovation, product innovation has positive and significant effect on marketing performance, and network capability has positive and significant effect on marketing performance.

Abstract

This study reveals one way to introduce English as a universal language from an early age to children at home by subscribing to Digital TV. If subtitles are not used, the viewers then try to listen to the meaning of the speakers of the characters, which in this case are called native speakers. This is what is called listening, which is the main basic ability and skill in language. As elementary school students as well as young learners, English is still an interesting subject for them because they are considered as intelligent people if they can speak English well. Although the English course is not tested in the UN (National Examination) at the elementary level, they will find the next level of education when they face the UN. Thus, it is necessary to have ways and strategies in mastering English at least to be trained in listening to films on Digital TV shows without subtitles. The research team has found several elementary school students who excel in their English subject because their parents subscribe to digital TV at home and there is an assumption from parents that when their children's favorite cartoon films that are still in elementary school have been watched without subtitles, they are able to increase their vocabulary (vocabularies) and daily verbal utterances interspersed with English (lingua franca) which they apparently got from Digital TV shows at home.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan atas dasar banyaknya Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) belum melakukan pengelolaan keuangan atas kegiatan usahanya. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini melibatkan UMKM yang ada di Kota Semarang. Dengan memanfaatkan manajemen keuangan, UMKM dapat menghasilkan pengelolaan keuangan usahanya dengan mudah, cepat, dan tepat. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah UMKM menghasilkan pengelolaan keuangan usahanya yang dapat digunakan sebagai informasi dan kontrol usahanya.

Abstract

Research  aims  to  offer  comprehensive  understanding  of  the  factors  influencing organizational performance, particularly in the context of member trust, thereby contributing to broader discourse on human capital management and cooperative development.  Utilizing  multidimensional  framework  of  human  capital  and grounded  in  prevailing  challenges  faced  by  cooperative  businesses,  research elucidates pivotal role of human capital as organizational performance. Approach research was based on descriptive research techniques, in cross-sectional survey, is to observe (collect data about) specific occurrence, often at single point in time. To address research questions, this study adopts descriptive research technique and survey measures to capture objective and social reality of employee performance. Sample  included  140  respondents  of  Flower  Market  Traders  Association  in Kopeng, Semarang district, Central Java Province. Data gathering period lasted from January until October 2023. Researcher created questionnaire and collected data using Google Forms. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling  (SEM)  with  Smart-PLS  (Partial  Least  Square)  software.  Based  on study's results, workgroup effectiveness directly influences employee performance and contributes to its success. Moreover, member trust as moderator in correlation between  workgroup  effectiveness  and  employee  performance.  Research  offers theoretical and practical implications for implementing workgroup effectiveness to enhance employee performance and member trust as moderator.
