Abstract

Filtrasi adalah proses pengolahan air secara fisik untuk menghilangkan partikel padat dalam air dengan melewatkan air tersebut melalui material berpori dengan diameter butiran dan ketebalan tertentu. Penelitian ini digunakan untuk mengolah air sumur yang mengandung logam Mn menggunakan metode filtrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari nilai efisiensi tertinggi dari media filter zeolit alam, zeolit alam teraktivasi fisika dan manganese greensand yang dikombinasi dengan karbon aktif agar didapatkan efektivitas penurunan kadar Mn serta mengkaji perbedaan ketiganya melalui variasi debit dan ketebalan media. Variabel penelitian berupa : 1) Debit (Q) : 0.5, 0.7, 0.9, 1.1, 1.3 liter/menit. 2) Ketebalan Media (cm) : 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 cm yang dikombinasi dengan karbon aktif dengan ketebalan 20 cm. Hasil persentase efisiensi penurunan Mn paling efektif pada penelitian ini adalah penurunan kadar Mn menggunakan kombinasi media filter manganese greensand – KA yaitu sebesar 80%. Dan persentase efisiensi penurunan kadar Mn paling rendah pada kombinasi media filter zeolit alam – KA yaitu sebesar 24%.

Abstract

The increase in the amount of waste coupled with the lack of waste management facilities, as well as the lack of knowledge and public awareness in managing waste causes the accumulation of waste to have an impact on environmental pollution. In the Kesamben sub-district, Jombang, there is no waste management facility, so people choose to do open burning, throw garbage on the side of the road, and even throw garbage directly into the river. From these problems, a TPS 3R was planned in Kesamben District. In planning the TPS 3R, population data and population projections, waste generation data, waste composition, waste generation projections and local area HSPK are required. Data collection on waste generation and composition was carried out by sampling at residents' homes. The results of the sampling obtained the weight of waste generation of 0.1393 kg/person/day with a waste volume of 0.0022 m3/person/day. The composition of the waste consists of organic waste, plastic, paper, cloth/textile, glass, Styrofoam, and diapers. With the percentage of waste composition, respectively, namely 64.55%; 19.7%; 8.49%; 1.71%; 0.41%; 0.75%; and 4.38%. From this data, a TPS 3R building is planned which can process waste up to a volume of 164.55 m3/day. Consists of a reception room, sorting room, inorganic waste storage room, plastic waste processing unit, organic waste processing unit, liquid organic fertilizer storage room, residual waste storage room, and supporting facilities. From the planning that has been done, it takes a budget plan of Rp2.052.524.176,35.

Abstract

The lack of waste management facilities coupled with the amount of waste generation that continues to increase along with the increase in population causes the accumulation of waste at several points in Kesamben District. Most of the people throw their garbage on the side of the road, in the river, or by burning. For this reason, it is necessary to analyze the generation and composition of waste in Kesamben District so that a waste management system can be carried out in accordance with the rules. The research was conducted by measuring waste generation directly from 26 sampling points throughout the Kesamben District. The waste generation sampling procedure was carried out based on SNI 19-3964-1994. From the sampling activity that has been carried out, the resulting solid waste generation is 0.1393 kg/person/day. While the results of the analysis of the composition of the waste showed the types of organic waste, plastic, paper, cloth/textile, glass, Styrofoam, and diapers. With the percentage of waste composition, respectively, that is 64.55%; 19.7%; 8.49%; 1.71%; 0.41%; 0.75%; and 4.38%. From these results it can be concluded that the composition of household waste is dominated by organic waste. So that people should be able to take advantage of composting technology to manage waste in their homes and sort out plastic waste to reduce the amount of waste generated.

Abstract

Pemerintah Kabupaten Sampang memiliki RSUD dr. Rumah Sakit Mohammad Zyn Kabupaten Sampang, salah satu fasilitas pelayanan prima yang terletak di Jl. Rajawali No. 10 Sampang dan memiliki total 229 tempat tidur. Limbah padat, cair, dan gas, termasuk limbah operasional institusi medis, mengandung limbah benda tajam, infeksius, patologis, radioaktif, farmasi, sitotoksik, kimia, dan peralatan. Sesuai dengan kebutuhan yang relevan, penelitian ini berupaya untuk menentukan alur pengelolaan limbah B3, dengan tujuan menghasilkan limbah B3 seminimal mungkin. Teknik pengumpulan data digunakan dalam investigasi ini. Sebanyak 4.548,5 kg limbah B3 mencapai TPS pada Agustus, diikuti 5.177 kg pada September, 5.640 kg pada Oktober, dan 6.278 kg pada November. Sampah B3 masuk insinerator dalam empat bulan berbeda: 5310 kg pada Agustus, 4877 kg pada September, 4785 kg pada Oktober, dan 5196 kg pada November. Insinerator menghasilkan 819,86 kg abu pada bulan Agustus; 804,56 kg pada bulan September; 842,92 kg pada bulan Oktober; dan 688,53 kg pada bulan November. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan limbah mematuhi semua undang-undang yang relevan. Pengumpulan limbah medis di TPS B3 merupakan salah satu area yang perlu ditingkatkan antara lain. Pengiriman limbah medis tercepat ke pihak ketiga harus diupayakan.
