Abstract

Tripadvisor.com is a site that aims to facilitate the tourists to seek information about lodging such as hotels. By using this site everyone is free to provide feedback and reviews based on their experiences, both positive reviews and negative. Many reviews on this site will indirectly affect customers or prospective customers in selecting and deciding hotel. Reviews on these sites influence for customers and prospective customers in selecting place to stay, the PR The Premiere use the site as a form of Cyber PR in The Premiere Hotel Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine how the customer response to the tripadvisor.com site as a form of Cyber PR activity The Premiere Hotel Pekanbaru. This study uses descriptive qualitative research method. This study aim to describe and illustrate the object based on facts by using infroman as a data source. The Informant are 6 people consisting of one PR The Premiere Hotel and 5 customers who are selected based on purposive sampling. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. These results indicate that the customers response to the tripadvisor.com website is a form of stimulus provided by the customer to the hotel Premiere Pekanbaru written based on the experience perceived by the customer, which he poured into the tripadvisor.com site. This is done by the customer is motivated because of the desire of customers to share information with customers and prospective customers others. A good reciews will sure be a selling point for the hotel, but bad reviews would certainly make the hotel into an ugly image. Respond to customer reviews on tripadvisor.com site as a form of cyber PR can be said to be appropriate and effective, the PR can form the image the hotel who care and want to know to the customers. Furthermore, by responding to customer reviews on tripadvisor.com site can be seen and perceived by customers and prospective customers who ends will have an impact on the marketing activities of the hotel. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tanda dan pertanda dalam makna denotasi,konotasi dan mitos mengenai perempuan Minangkabau yang digambarkan dalam lirik lagu si nona.Selain itu juga melihat peran laki-laki dan perempuan dalam memaknai lirik lagu. Penelitian inimerupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode semiotika. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukanpemaknaan mengenai perempuan berdasarkan tanda dan pertanda dalam lirik lagu menggambarkanperempuan Minangkabau yang harus mampu menjaga diri dan harkat martabat keluarga, bahkankaumnya, sehingga ketika perempuan muda Minagkabau perlu diingatkan terus akan kedudukannya.Baik dalam bentuk makna denotasi maupun konotasi dan mitos, mengarah pada keadaan nyatadalam kehidupan sosial budaya masyarakat Minangkabau yang mementingkan perempuan. DariFGD yang dilakukan antara 2 orang laki-laki keturunan Minangkabau dan 1 orang perempuanMinangkabau muda, mereka juga memaknai lirik lagu sebagai sebuah himbauan dan nasehat bagiperempuan Minangkabau muda agar mampu menjaga diri. Perempuan Minangkabau digambarkansebagai sosok perempuan yang cantik, berbudi baik, sopan, dan akan menjadi “bundo kanduang”.Hal ini terlihat dalam lirik “awak rancak, budi elok, baso basi, mamikek hati” dan lirik “rang gadih nanjolong gadang”.Kata Kunci: komunikasi massa, semiotika, perempuan Minangkabau

Abstract

Allah obligates for Islamic women to wearing muslim clothing for cover his private partswho is not mahram. Muslim clothing weared for closing her genitals in various activities. InIndonesia, muslim clothing has become a fashion trend because of manyused by artists, thataffect adolescents included in Pekanbaru, especially in the Faculty of Social and PoliticalSciences, University of Riau. Basically nospecific regulations that require student using muslimclothing in a campus and that make various self perceptions. This study aims to determine thefactors that influence the self perception and to know the process formation of self-perceptionamong student of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences,University of Riau.This research used qualitative method research. Informants in this study were 12 femalestudents of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Riau that used muslimclothing and selected by using purposive sampling technique and accidental sampling. Data wascollected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniquesincluded at collection, data reduction, organizing data as well as the conclusion of the exposureand verification.These results indicate that the process of formation the perception created by the style ofdress of muslim student of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Riauthrough clothing size close the genitals, made of thick and loose, dark color, body movementsthat keep it from the male, always use muslim clothing in any activity, feel more protected fromthe hot sun, understand how the criteria of muslim dress according to religious teachings ofIslam, as well as have a favorable view of muslim clothing. And than their perception is alsoinfluenced by several factors, including changing attitudes for the better, the feeling of beingcomfortable and calm, has a back ground based of islam education, has many friends in sociallife, saving when use the money, the past experiences that triggerto use muslim clothing,have abest friend who likes to use muslim clothing, and was active in Islamic organizations.Keywords: communication, persepticion, clothing muslim, fashion style

Abstract

The film as a work of art is often interpreted the results of copyrighted works of art that have the completeness of some of the elements of art to meet the needs of a spiritual nature . The position of women often appears as a symbol of subtlety , emotional , something that moved slowly , sometimes even stops . Women are so close to the idiom - phrases such adversity , oppression , even in the " concept " which have already been accepted by the majority of our society that they are "objects " rather than " subject " for men . The term gender itself is still much less understood and putting equal to the sex or gender.The method used in this research is the method of critical discourse . Data collection techniques in this study using the method of analysis, semiotics . The location of this research will be held in Pekanbaru , Riau . Subjects in this study is the film Puteri Gunung Ledang By Saw Theong Hin , while objects in the study in this research is the Java Image Women in film Puteri Gunung Ledang . For data analysis , researchers used a method of interactive analysis and Hubberman Miles . As for checking the validity of the data , researchers used triangulation data technique.The results showed that in the film the daughter of Gunung Ledang we could see the loyalty and obedience of a female Javan weak and powerless , who want to maintain loyalty , but all in vain . In the film 's daughter Gunung Ledang , women are placed or positioned as a Java object, because the sentences in this film are using the passive voice . Here, researchers get a masculine aura of femininity of the female figure of Java. If you notice, the woman of Java is indeed the most courageous woman to wander even alone . Retno Dumilah independence seems flowing also in the blood of the blood of most women of Java.Keyword : Representation, Woman, Film, Puteri Gunung Ledang.

Abstract

Pekanbaru government’s website with domain www.pekanbaru.go.id is one of strategy to improve e-Government to achieve good governance. The purpose of this research is to know the benefit, efficiency, participation, transparency and change management of using website as the implementation of information and communication technology to achieve Good Governance on Pekanbaru government. This research used qualitative method with Balanced E-Government Scorecard Theory. The data collected from observation, interview and documentation. The result shows that using Pekanbaru government’s website as interactive public services to give information to the people is not maximized yet. The efficiency of using the website as public information is not running well. But it can help data electronic administrator and people to work. Participation as two way communication still runs slowly at menu“Call us” and “Give your aspiration”. The transparency of website’s use still have pro and contra between people and the management to give information clearly. ChangeManagement byusing website in tightly controlling and monitoring with E-Government system still not running well. The use of Pekanbaru government’s website still not able to achieve Good Governance yet. High commitment supported from mayor as the district head and all level of bureaucracy are needed to arrange system and process of public information services via Pekanbaru government’s website.

Abstract

Indonesia saat ini masih berjuang melawan Covid-19 untuk pemulihan banyak sektor. Banyak upaya yang sudah coba dilakukan oleh pemerintah, salah satunya adalah dengan menghadirkan kebijakan vaksin bagi masyarakat agar tidak mudah terserang virus Covid-19. Berbagai media online banyak memberitakan hal-hal terkait penggunaan vaksin ini. Setiap media online biasanya memiliki gaya penulisan yang berbeda dalam membingkai sebuah berita yang disampaikan. Sehingga bingkai pemberitaan yang dibuat media online itu dapat mempengaruhi cara pandang dan pola pikir dari pembacanya. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk menjelaskan bagaimana cara media membingkai sebuah berita sehingga pembaca bisa mengikuti pemikiran dari media tersebut, dengan fokus pemberitaan media online finance.detik.com dan lifestyle.okezone.com sebagai sampel yang memuat berita mengenai vaksin di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Model analisis framing dari Zhongadng Pan dan Gerald M. Kosicki dengan model framing ini menggunakan empat struktur yaitu Sintaksis, Skrip, Tematik, dan Retoris. Hasil analisis menjelaskan bahwa didalam media online finance.detik.com pada struktur sintaksisnya lebih menekankan pada peran dari pemerintah sehingga dapat membentuk opini positif di muka publik dalam percepatan penanganan Covid-19 melalui kehadiran vaksin. Sedangkan di lifestyle.okezone.com didalam keseluruhan strukturnya lebih menekankan pada peran tenaga medis terkait vaksin sehingga membuka pikiran khalayak untuk percaya dan tidak khawatir dengan vaksin.Kata kunci: Analisis Framing, Covid-19, Media Online, vaksin

Abstract

The development of the fashion world are growing rapidly and creatively to make the fashion business activists have to create something different from the others. Designs on fashion products to convey a hidden message for the user as well as the look of the design. Aye! One fashion denim brand in Indonesia to bring the design of its products with the theme Secret Society, the Illuminati, and Freemasonry. This study aims to look at how the meaning and ideology of Illuminati on t-shirt design that was released by Aye! Denim.This study uses qualitative descriptive study, with the selection of informants using purposive sampling theory, the author chose some informants who have a relationship with Aye! Denim, the Owner of Aye! Denim, and users of the product from Aye! Denim. Data collection techniques in this research with in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. For data analysis techniques, using three stages of Roland Barthes significance. The first phase, peeling connotations, the second phase of search for meaning denotation, and the third phase concluded myths and ideologies contained in t-shirt design Aye! Denim.The results of this study indicate that the meaning and ideology embodied in the design Aye! Denim contains about the existence of a huge plan designed by the Secret Society, the Illuminati, and Freemasonry. The agenda is driven by the people behind the scenes who infiltrated through the administration of a country. The purpose of the agenda is to create a new world government or commonly called the "New World Order". Aye! Denim trying to convey the purpose of the agents in different ways namely through the designs of its products. Abstract

wide variety of community exists in Indonesia, one of which is a community of 234 Solidarity Community or shortened by 234 SC. Community 234 SC is already scattered in various regions in Indonesia and to foreign countries such as Malaysia, Beijing, and the Netherlands. Community of 234 SC is also entered in Riau, one of them is in Pekanbaru city and called 234 SC Pekanbaru. 234 SC Pekanbaru interaction and communication to improve the existence, solidarity among the members, as well as the cohesiveness in the group. This study aims to determine patterns of communication and the factors that influence the effectiveness of communication 234 SC Pekanbaru communities in building cohesiveness. This study uses qualitative descriptive method, with the selection of informants using purposive, which selects five selected informants, namely a community chief, two officers and two members of the community 234 SC Pekanbaru. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. For the data analysis, refer to the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. For checking the validity of the data using the extension of participation and triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the community 234 SC Pekanbaru to communicate face-to -face and virtual communication in which communication and interaction that occurs can be with anyone, anytime and anywhere, communication is bi-directional, and communication networks that are formed in the form of schemes all channels. In this community interacts using symbols in the form of everyday language commonly used by the people. Cooperation in the community is more dominant than the competition, this community has a code of ethics written which is used as the norms and rules, this community always choose and create an atmosphere that fits in activities in order to create a sense of comfort and conducive, there are no rules in the selection of seating positions, joke or humor is allowed to use in order to become familiar atmosphere and not stuffy. Of communication patterns and the factors that influence the effectiveness of this form of communication that makes a community cohesiveness 234 SC Pekanbaru be solid and sustain each other. AJB Bumiputera 1912 using the logo change of strategy development. Changing the logo mean change the image and that's an opportunity to review the management for improve the company's image in the eyes of the competitors. Where the AJB Bumiputera1912 this has lot of rivals such as Life Insurance, Foreign-Owned Insurance And other private owned also, in order to bring a fresh impression and is not oldies so, AJB Bumiputera parties to replace the old logo as a Form of Coorporate Identity. The Objective knows signs meaning, objects, intepretant of Life Insurance logo with Bumiputera 1912.The Research using qualitative research methods and backed with analysis theory of semiotics of Charles Sanders Pierce. The subject research is determined by purposive sampling technique which consists differences and divisions of public relations division commuication Part Of AJB Bumiputera 1912. The data collection techniques include interviews, observation, documentation and analysis framework. The analaysis used the tachniques based analysis of researchers (the argument researchers) wich is based on concepts and a theories that are relevant. Data analysis technique used is the analysis of semiology The Charles Sanders Peirce with triadic model, where signs, objects and Interpretations have meet each other relationships and excess with strength checks the validity of data is done using triangulation techniques.The Results of research is indicates From logo 1912 is overall from all signs the elements in hearts the basic foundation logo 1912 What has meaning symbolizes power, dignity and strength, object of logo life insurance with Bumiputera 1912. A sign of the minds of thought of record logo for the review creates logos a new and interpretan from logo life insurance with Bumiputera 1912 are from purport of everything process of achieving the sense of delivered by a shape signs, and the elements contained in this logo is a logo that is intrepretation life insurance along with Bumiputra 1912. Abstract

Foreign tourists who come to the Country or any other city in need of a tour guide as a compass in a traveling tour. The existence of a very large tour guide in the introduction of a regional attraction like Bukittinggi. Given the differences in languages and cultural backgrounds differ, a tour guide must pay attention to how to communicate with foreign tourists so that effective communication. This study aims to determine the behavior of verbal communication and non-verbal communication freelance guide in introducing the attractions of Bukittinggi.This study uses a qualitative research approach symbolic interaction. Informants in this study were as many as seven people consisting of four freelance guide and three tourists who visit the city of Bukittinggi selected by using purposive. The collection of data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. Technical analysis of the data in this study using interactive data model with data validity checking is done using the extension of participation and triangulation techniques.The results of this study indicate that the behavior of verbal communication with foreign tourists freelance guide includes vocabulary words using American English which will make communication more effective. Speed of communication that will influence on receipt of the message can be understood whether or vice versa. The emphasis or tone of voice used in explanations related to regional languages. While the humor is not boring interlude in communication, as well as a clear concise language used for communication is not wordy and attention to the time in conversation. As for the non-verbal communication behaviors freelance guide shows non-verbal communication kinesics which include facial expressions and eye contact when the communication process takes place.
