Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine investors' reactions to the announcement of the 2017-2019 dividend payment plan in the food and beverage sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This type of survey is an empirical survey using the event survey method which aims to investigate the market reaction to events whose information is published as announcements. The data used in this study is secondary data, namely data taken from other data sources, not collected by the researcher himself. Data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange Corner. The data analysis method is to calculate the actual daily stock return for each stock during the event and use the expected model to estimate the expected return. When we tested the comparison of the average rate of return (AAR) of stocks during the pre-announcement period, the average rate of return was -0.065813, but seven days after the announcement, the average rate of return was -0.000720. We tested the difference between 15 days before the announcement and 15 days after the announcement and found that the t-value was 2.996 and the significance was 0.001.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Internal (PKMI) di Panti Asuhan Muhammadiyah Putri Ulil Abshar Jetis, Mulyoagung, Dau, Malang ini memiliki tiga tujuan, yaitu: (1) Memberikan pemahaman tentang dasar-dasar Manajemen Bisnis; (2) Memberikan bantuan teknis terkait proses bisnis, baik dalam fasilitas peralatan maupun pelatihan; dan (3) Memberikan pendampingan dan konsultansi dalam menghasilkan metode kerja yang lebih efektif dan efisien.Kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk mencapai tujuan berupa pelatihan dan pendampingan. Kegiatan pelatihan dilakukan 2 kali, yaitu: (1) Pada 25 Agustus 2019 berupa pelatihan bidang Manajemen Pemasaran, dengan materi pelatihan berupa konsep manajemen pemasaran dasar dan e-dagang (internet marketing) dalam pemasaran produk; dan (2) Pada 13 Oktober 2019 berupa pelatihan Manajemen Produksi dan Operasi, dengan materi konsep manajemen produksi dan operasi dasar, dan praktik menjahit. Di samping pelatihan, pengabdi juga menyumbangkan 1 unit mesin jahit baru untuk mendukung proses produksi tas. Dari pelatihan dan pendampingan yang telah dilakukan oleh tim pengabdi, pemahaman peserta dalam Manajemen Bisnis, baik bidang pemasaran maupun produksi dan operasi terjadi peningkatan. Di samping itu ketrampilan dalam mengimplementasikan konsep pemasaran (e-dagang) dan produksi dan operasi (ketrampilan menjahit) juga mengalami peningkatan. Dengan demikian, secara umum kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini memberikan nilai tambah, baik bagi peserta maupun obyek pengabdian masyarakat.

Abstract

Sebagai salah satu Cabang Muhammadiyah besar di Kabupaten Malang, Pengurus Cabang Muhammadiyah (PCM) Kecamatan Dau saat ini mengelola lebih dari 25 masjid dan mushala yang tersebar di berbagai desa. Dalam kenyataannya, tidak semua masjid dan mushala tersebut dikelola dengan baik. Dengan kondisi ini, agar kegiatan-kegiatan yang dijalankan oleh masjid dan mushala dapat berjalan lebih baik, maka perlu peningkatan, terutama dari aspek perencanaan dan pengendaliannya. Dalam upaya membantu para pengurus masjid dan mushala Muhammadiyah di Kecamatan Dau dalam melakukan perbaikan ini, maka kegiatan yang akan dijalankan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini ditujukan untuk: (1) memberikan pemahaman tentang fungsi perencanaan dan pengendalian pada kegiatan masjid; dan (2) melakukan pendampingan dalam mengimplementasikan fungsi perencanaan dan pengendalian pada kegiatan masjid dan mushala.  Dalam upaya mencapai tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini, metode kegiatan yang digunakan ada tiga macam, yaitu: (1) pelatihan yang dilakukan dengan metode ceramah dan diskusi interaktif; (2) praktik langsung dengan menyusun perencanaan dan melakukan pengendalian; dan (3) pendampingan dan konsultansi kepada para peserta dalam mengimplementasikan konsep dan metode perencanaan dan pengendalian kegiatan. Kegiatan pertama berupa pelatihan tentang perencanaan dan pengendalian kegiatan masjid dan mushala dilaksanakan pada 5 September 2021, bertempat Masjid Padepokan Hisbul Waton, Jetak Lor, Desa Mulyoagung, dan diikuti oleh 17 takmir/pengurus masjid dan mushala Muhammadiyah di Kecamatan Dau. Kegiatan pelatihan ini menghasilkan peningkatan pemahaman tentang perencanaan dan pengendalian dari para peserta sebesar 68,01%. Di samping itu, para peserta memiliki kemampuan menerapkan prinsip perencanaan dan pengendalian kegiatan tersebut.  Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) peserta mendapat nilai tambah pemahaman tentang perencanaan dan pengendalian kegiatan masjid setelah mengikuti pelatihan, (2) para peserta mampu mengimplementasikan prinsip-prinsip perencanaan dan pengendalian sesuai dengan hasil pelatihan. Dari kesimpulan ini, ada saran bagi: (1) takmir/pengurus masjid dan mushala Muhammadiyah di Kecamatan Dau, (2) pengurus PCM, (3) jamaah masjid dan mushala Muhammadiyah di Kecamatan Dau, dan (4) Dekanat FEB UMM

Abstract

 This study aims to determine the determinants of dividend policy in basic and chemical industrial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period. The number of samples in this study was 13 companies with a purposive sampling method. Data collection is carried out by means of documentation techniques, namely through the company's annual report. The results of this study indicate that liquidity has a significant and negative effect on dividend policy, profitability has a negative and significant effect on dividend policy, and profitability is the variable that has the greatest effect on dividend policy.

The number of samples in this study was 13 companies with a purposive sampling method. Data collection is carried out by means of documentation techniques, namely through the company's annual report. The results of this study indicate that liquidity has a significant and negative effect on dividend policy, profitability has a negative and significant effect on dividend policy, and profitability is the variable that has the greatest effect on dividend policy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of liquidity, solvency, and activity on profitability in agricultural sector companies in 2012 – 2021. This type of research is survey research. The population used is all agricultural sector companies using the purposive sampling technique so that there are 6 samples of companies with a time period of 10 years so that the sample to be observed is 60. This study uses the documentation method obtained from the annual financial statements on the website (www.idx.co.id). The data analysis technique used the OLS (Ordinary Least Square) model. The results showed that liquidity, solvency, and activity simultaneously had a significant effect on profitability. Partially, liquidity, and activity have a significant effect, while solvency has no significant effect on profitability.
