Abstract

Background: The implementation of environmental sanitation in environmental media is carried out by processing hospital waste, namely infectious and non-infectious waste. The purpose of this study is to analyze more deeply about the risks of occupational safety and health (K3) in medical waste management of Hasanah Muhammadiyah Islamic Hospital in Mojokerto during the pandemic Covid-19. Methods: The type of research used in this research is quasi qualitative. The techniques used are observation, in-depth interviews (indepth interview) and documentation continuously during the research. Informants in this study are divided into three, namely key informants, namely the Head of the IPL (Waste Management Installation) unit, regular informants are part of the health worker and know the flow of the waste management system and are willing to be involved in research at Hasanah Muhammadiyah Hospital, Mojokerto, and supporting informants, namely cleaning services. Working in the sewage treatment department. Results: From the results of the study, it was found that the Covid-19 medical waste processing carried out at the RSHIMM was still the same as ordinary medical waste processing, where the waste treatment process started from sorting, holding according to the yellow container. Risk of accidents found, Ramp used to transport waste medical, patients and corpses are still in the same line, and cleaning services also have not used special clothes when transporting waste and medical waste sharp objects still use open artificial cardboard. Conclusion: Risk control is carried out by complying with SOPs, but is still constrained by the lack of infrastructure.

Abstract

Introduction: The Covid-19 case in Indonesia itself, the government has issued a disaster emergency status starting on February 29, 2020, regarding this virus pandemic. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is used to protect yourself or the body against the dangers of work accidents and the risk of contracting the virus, especially related to biological hazards, health workers are at the forefront of breaking the chain of transmission of Covid 19 because they are located in each sub-district and have a regional concept so that the use of PPE is one of the main procedures in the health service process. where factors related to the compliance of health workers using PPE are knowledge, years of service, formal education, supervision, and workload. The purpose: of this study was to determine the relationship with the compliance of health workers using PPE in the COVID-19 pandemic era at the Makassar Makassar Health Center. This research method: is a quantitative study using the Analytical Survey with a cross-sectional study approach. Data analysis using logistic regression test. The sampling technique in this study was total sampling with a sample size of 42 health workers. The Results: of statistical test research using the chi-square test found that of the three variables, namely work period (p = 0.037), supervision (p = 0.002), and workload (p = 0.014) had a significant relationship with adherence to using PPE. Meanwhile, formal education (p = 0.702) and knowledge of 100%, did not have a significant relationship with compliance with using PPE. The conclusion: of this study shows that there is a significant relationship between tenure, supervision and workload with compliance with using PPE at Makkasau Public Health Center in Makassar. It is recommended that the health center should increase supervision in the use of PPE and pay attention to the workload of health workers

Abstract

Background: The incidence of severe pre-eclampsia and eclampsia increases the risk of adverse events in labor which consists of maternal and perinatal outputs. The delivery outcome in eclampsia depends on the gestational age at disease onset, the quality of disease management, and the presence or absence of other medical illnesses. The purpose of this study was to analyze the association of knowledge and attitude with preeclampsia in pregnant women in the Tangeban Public Health Center, Masama District, Banggai Regency. Methods: This type of research is an analytic survey with a cross sectional research design. The sample in this research was all pregnant women, both preeclampsia and not in the Tangeban Puskesmas area, Masama sub-district, Probi regency, totaling 57 people. Results: There was no relationship between knowledge of the incidence of preeclampsia in pregnant women and there was a relationship between attitudes towards the incidence of preeclampsia in pregnant women in the Tangeban Public Health Center, Masama District, Banggai Regency. Conclusion: This study is expected to be used as an evaluation material for health centers related to factors related to preeclampsia in pregnant women in the Tangeban Community Health Center, Banggai Regency.

Abstract

Background: Brands reflect customer perceptions and feelings regrading product attributers and performance, brand names and companies associated with the brand associated. In utilizing health services, customers are built by several considerations, one of which influences the customer’s consideration of the high brand image of a hospital. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of corporate identity, physical environment, contact personelle, and service offering on the interesting of community to utilize service at Dr. Tadjuddin Chalid Hospital Makassar. Methods: This is a quantitative research that uses cross sectional study method. Respondents in this study are 78 inpatients of Dr. Tadjuddin Chalid Hospital Makassar, determined by using simple random sampling technique. Results: Based on the the chi-square statistical test results, corporate identity, physical environment, contact personelle, and service offering an influence on patient decision using health service at Dr. Tadjuddin Chalid Hospital Makassar with the value of all variables, namely p=0.000 < p=0.05. Conclusion: (1) There was influenced between corporate identity with patient decision using health service at Dr. Tadjuddin Chalid Hospital Makassar; (2) There was influenced between physical environment with patient decision using health service at Dr. Tadjuddin Chalid Hospital Makassar; (3) There was influenced between contact personelle with patient decision using health service at Dr. Tadjuddin Chalid Hospital Makassar; and (4) There was influenced between service offering with patient decision using health service at Dr. Tadjuddin Chalid Hospital Makassar.
