Abstract

Abstract: The Integration of Zakat and Taxation in Indonesia in the Views of Positive Law and Islamic Law. This paper propose a concept of integration between taxes and zakat to accelerate the achievement of social welfare in Indonesia. The integration is important as the growth of zakat steadily increases from time to time which is marked by the increasing number of Amil Zakat and alms acquisition from year to year. At the same time, the development of wealth and the service quality of obligatory zakat distributions, including utilization, is also increases progressively. Undoubtly, with this significant growth, charity, like the tax, can be utilized as a tool to achieve social walfare as well as to improve the economy of Indonesia. Abstrak: Integrasi Zakat dan Pajak di Indonesia Dalam Tinjuan Hukum Positif dan Hukum Islam. Tulisan ini menawarkan konsep integrasi pajak dan zakat sebagai bentuk semangat baru dalam meningkatkan zakat dan pajak di Indonesia. Integrasi zakat dan pajak penting untuk diupayakan karena pertumbuhan zakat semakin meningkat dari waktu ke waktu yang ditandai dengan makin meningkatnya jumlah Badan Amil Zakat dan nomor akuisisi sedekah dari tahun ke tahun. Selain dari itu, perkembangan kekayaan serta kualiatas pelayanan pengembangan distribusi zakat wajib, termasuk pemanfaatannya, menunjukkan trend yang terus meningkat secara progresif. Dengan pertumbuhan yang signifikan ini, zakat dapat menjadi alat walfare ekonomi dan sosial bagi umat dan kedudukannya sama penting dengan pajak penghasilan negara. Pajak dan zakat, bilamana diintegrasikan dalam suatu konsep dan aturan hukum yang jelas, diyakini dapat memajukan perekonomian Indonesia.

Abstract

            This study was motivated by the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced various lives to change so rapidly that the world of education had to adapt in the midst of chaos that threatens the safety of learning citizens. This situation encourages the Government to formulate learning policy innovations as an anchor for learning interaction modes, including in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects which have specific characteristics compared to other subjects. On that basis, I saw the urgency to conduct research on learning innovations in PAI Education during the COVID-19 Pandemic in the City of Mataram. This study is a qualitative-descriptive field research. The data collected was analyzed using a grounded research paradigm where the data was extracted using several techniques such as observation, interviews, documentation, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) techniques using purposive sampling technique. PJJ in its implementation is not as smooth as expected. The issues complained of are quite diverse. Starting from devices such as laptops and cellphones. Not all parents of students are able to facilitate their children with cellphones and laptops, especially since Corona, many parents have been laid off from their places of work, so that the family economy becomes more difficult. Inadequate internet network is also one of the obstacles in PJJ. PJJ conducted at home makes the discipline level of students decrease as many students are still late to enter the virtual learning room.

Abstract

Abstract: The Relationship Between Gender-Responsive and Culture-Based Learning on the Education Quality of Higher Education. Objectives: This study aims to determine the relationship between gender-responsive and culture-based learning on the quality of education in tertiary institutions. Methods: This study involved 400 students and educators from 10 tertiary institutions. This survey study adopted a cross-sectional survey design. The data were collected using non-test methods and the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression tests. Findings: The results showed that (1) there is a significant relationship between gender-responsive learning and the quality of tertiary education with a percentage of 35.4%; and (2) there is a significant relationship between cultural-responsive learning and the quality of higher education with a percentage of 38.4%. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between gender and cultural-responsive learning simultaneously with the quality of tertiary education with a percentage of 61.4%. Keywords: gender-responsive learning, cultural-responsive learning, quality of education, higher education.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v14.i1.202402
