Abstract

The Who Am I Quiz Learning Model is a learning model designed in such a way as to increase student learning activity and have implications for increasing writing skills. The purpose of this study was to improve student learning activeness and writing skills of class students. To strengthen and facilitate this study the authors used several accurate references. This study used two stages, namely cycle I and cycle II. Each cycle consists of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. From the results of the study, the percentage value of student learning activeness in the first cycle was 56.25% in the active category and very active and increased in the second cycle, namely 93.63% in the active and very active category. While the average value of writing skills in cycle I was 66% and increased in cycle II to 76.3. Meanwhile, the percentage of completeness in the first cycle was 62.5% and increased in the second cycle to 93.75%. This improvement proves the success of descriptive text learning through the Who Am I Quiz learning model.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the quality of Grabbike online motorcycle taxi service and its effect on customer satisfaction in the Tegal City area. The quantitative approach is used as a source of data processing so that the results are presented. The study population was GrabBike online motorcycle taxi (OJOL) customers in Tegal City for one week, 1000 customers. This research used incidental sampling technique in sampling. Determination of the number of samples using the Slovin formula. From the total population of 1000 obtained a sample of 100 customers as respondents. Data collection uses observation methods, questionnaires, and documentation. The research instrument was in the form of observation sheets and questionnaires with 22 items of statements that had been tested for validity and reliability. Datalysis was analyzed with linear regression. The results showed that the quality of service had a positive and significant effect on GrabBike online motorcycle taxi customer satisfaction as evidenced by the results of the calculation of a simple linear regression analysis of Y = 16.078 + 0.520X, with the significance of the variable service quality was 0,000 because the significance value of 0,000 <0.05 was concluded service quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction variables on OJOL GrabBike in Tegal City, meaning Ha is accepted while H0 is rejected.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of compensation and organizational culture on performance by mediating job satisfaction of nurses. In this study, the population was all nurses in the Civil Hospital inpatient Kardinah. The sampling method using purposive sampling. Retrieval of data using questionnaires. Tests conducted by the research instrument validity and reliability, statistical test equipment being used is multiple regression analysis, R2 test and t-test, to test the significance of regression coefficients generated. The results showed that compensation is positive and significant effect on affective commitment, job satisfaction and commitment continuants, but had no effect on performance. Organizational culture of innovation and risk-taking has positive influence on affective commitment and performance. Results-oriented organizational culture has a positive effect on job satisfaction and performance. People-oriented organizational culture has a positive effect on job satisfaction. Affective commitment and commitment continuants positive effect on job satisfaction but had no effect on performance. Job satisfaction has a positive effect on performance. Affective commitment, job satisfaction and commitment continuants is purely capable of mediating variables to explain the effect of indirect compensation to performance. Affective commitment and job satisfaction are not able to explain the indirect effect of organizational culture of innovation and risk-taking on the performance of nurses in hospitals Kardinah Tegal City.Keywords: compensation, organizational culture, , job satisfaction and performance of nurses

Abstract

Evaluasi diri tergolong sangat muda di lingkungan perguruan tinggi (LPTK), evaluasi diri dimaksudkan untuk mengungkapkan dan melakukan kajian yang sistematis terhadap lingkungan internal dan eksternal. Evaluasi diri dapat memberikan pendekatan yang lebih banyak dalam memberi informasi kepada dunia pendidikan untuk membantu perbaikan dan pengembangan program studi evaluasi diri dapat sebagai evaluasi internal dan evaluasi eksternal. Perbedaan antara evaluasi internal dan eksternal, nampak pada maksud dan tujuannya. Evaluasi diri merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam keseluruhan daur akreditasi dengan berbagai peran dan kegunaannya, termasuk penjamin mutu (quality assurance). Di samping itu evaluasi diri untuk mengetahui kemampuan lembaga, untuk mempersiapkan akreditasi program dan sangat berguna untuk pengembangan program serta penjamin mutu internal. Abstract

Keberhasilan program pendidikan sangat dipengaruhi oleh kompetensi profesionalisme personel pengajar. Tanpa personel yang cakap dan efektif, program pendidikan tidak dapat berhasil. Penelitian ini mencoba mendeskripsikan dan mengalisis perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pengembangan tenaga pengajar tetap UPS. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh dosen UPS. Sampel Penelitian ditentukan dengan sampling purposif, dilanjutkan “Snow Ballâ€. Disimpulkan bahwa UPS sudah memiliki dasar-dasar dan kebijakan perencanaan pengembangan tenaga pengajar tetap, tetapi belum dilaksanakan secara optimal, agar efektif perlu ditinjau secara periodic.

Abstract

Strategi pengembangan merupakan tahap awal perencanaan manajemen sekolah. Untuk bisamendukung kegiatan sekolah dalam mencapai tujuannya, maka strategi pengembangan perludilakukan. Dengan demikian strategi pengembangan SMA Terbuka merupakan implementasidukungan agar pengelola SMA Terbuka dapat melaksanakan kegiatannya.Tujuan tesis ini adalah ingin mengetahui strategi pengembangan SMA Terbuka MogaKabupaten Pemalang yang memusatkan pada tiga masalah utama : (1) bagaimana strategipengembangan SMA Terbuka Moga, (2) Bagaimana pelaksanaan kegiatan pengembangan SMATerbuka Moga dilaksanakan, (3) Faktor-faktor apa saja yang mendukung dan menghambat dalamstrategi pengembangan SMA Terbuka Moga.Dalam penelitian ini digunakan pendekatna kualitatif yang berbentuk studi ekploratif, datadikumpulkan dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan dokumen. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakanteknik bola salju (Snaw ball sampling techniques) data diperoleh dengan cara triangulasi,pemeriksaan responden, dan penilaian sasaran penelitian. Tahapan penelitian (1) reduksi data, (2)penyajian data, (3) penarikan kesimpulan.Dalam strategi pengembangan SMA Terbuka sudah menunjukkan manajemen pendidikan yangprofessional, sesuai dengan konsep awal perintisan. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan pelaksanaan kegiatanyang diikuti dengan perencanaan,baik dalam strategi penerimaan / perekrutan siswa,pengadministrasian, pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan penilaian serta pengawasan.Disarankan agar strategi pengembangan SMA Terbuka Moga dilakukan dengan lebih efektif danefisien. Dari pengelola di sekolah induknya, jajaran Dinas Pendidikan, masyarakat, orang tua siswa,dan seluruh stakeholder agar tetap menjalin koordinasi dengan baik.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to describe the process and the role of character education at University of Pancasakti Tegal. The research used qualitative descriptive approach. Data collected by Penelitian menerapkan pendekatan diskriptif kualitatif. Data obtained by observation and depth interviews with a number of lecturer, staff, and student who got involved in character education at University of Pancasakti Tegal, in limited ways. The data sources were not chosen randomly, but were determined to people who were considered to know a lot about the problems studied. Data processing run simultaneously withdata collection, as well as through the process of triangulation data so that the data obtained was tested. The results of the study illustrated, that the implementation of character education at the University Pancasakti Tegal run through various units, namely units Course Personality Development, Student Activity Unit and Spirituality Unit , each had been running well, but all three units need to be synergized and continuously improved. The implication of these results is that the character education at the University Pancasakti Tegal be laid out in a comprehensive and enhanced on an ongoing basis so that the results can really helpful.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the education system developed in the Pondok Pesantren Suryalaya Tasikmalaya. Pesantren is one of the oldest educational institutions in Indonesia. Pesantren, according to the analysis of Nurcholis Madjid (1985), is an institution that embodies the process of developing national education naturally. Historically, pesantren contained not only Islamic meaning, but also Indonesian authenticity, because similar institutions existed during the Hindu-Buddhist rule, while Islam continued and Islamized it. In line with the nature of Islamic boarding school education that grows and develops entirely based on religious motivation, Pesantren Suryalaya was developed to streamline religious broadcasting efforts and practice of its teachings. In its implementation, pesantren education carries out a process of building knowledge, attitudes, and skills concerning religious aspects. The main objective is to seek the formation of virtuous people (al-akhlaq al-karimah) with consistent religious practices (istiqomah). A santri (student) in a pesantren according to Marzuki Wahid (1999: 17) must also carry out the function of finding the ultimate truth, as Sufis wander to get 'food' for their insatiable soul. Therefore, salafiyah pesantren do not provide certificates, the expected output is to give birth to devout people (whole human beings). Ketaqwaan is believed by pesantren residents as the pinnacle of intelligence.

Abstract

The puprpose study to determine whether the philosophy, concepts in modeling group guidance and industry field trips can increase entrepreneurial motivation in accordance with the 2013 curriculum. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of the study concluded that modeling techniques and field trip industries could increase students' entrepreneurial motivation. Entrepreneurial motivation is basically an encouragement, interest, and availability to work hard or have a strong will to try maximally to make ends meet without feeling afraid of the risks that will occur, as well as a strong desire to learn from failure, a high heart tendency towards preference. on a thing or activity, without being told
