Abstract

ABSTRAK             Laktasi adalah keseluruhan proses mulai dari menyusui ASI, proses produksi ASI, dan refleks menghisap atau menelan ASI. Keberhasilan menyusui dipengaruhi banyak faktor yang terkait meliputi: pengetahuan tentang ASI, teknik menyusui, perawatan payudara, sosial, faktor psikologis, merokok dan minum alkohol. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan faktor pengetahuan tentang ASI, teknik menyusui, perawatan payudara dengan keberhasilan menyusui.            Desain penelitian menggunakan cross sectional. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 28 ibu nifas yang menyusui. Variabel bebas adalah pengetahuan tentang ASI, teknik menyusui, perawatan payudara. Variabel dependen adalah keberhasilan menyusui. Data penelitian ini diambil menggunakan kuesioner, observasi dan wawancara terstruktur.            Hasil perhitungan menggunakan uji statistik chi square. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hubungan antara pengetahuan tentang ASI dengan keberhasilan menyusui p= 0,000. Ada hubungan antara teknik menyusui dengan keberhasilan menyusui p= 0,000. Ada hubungan antara perawatan payudara dengan keberhasilan menyusui p= 0,000.            Keberhasilan menyusui dimulai dari peran perawat dalam mendukung manajemen laktasi yang baik sejak masa kehamilan dan melahirkan dan meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang ASI, teknik menyusui yang benar dan mempertahankan pengetahuan dan tindakan tentang perawatan payudara. Kata kunci: Pengetahuan tentang ASI, Teknik menyusui, Perawatan payudara, Keberhasilan laktasi.                                                                                               ABSTRACT Lactation is the whole process starts from the milk of breast milk in the production process to suck or swallow the breast milk. In the lactation success of many factors associated with it include: knowledge about breast milk, breastfeeding techniques, breast care, social, psychological factors, smoking and drinking alcohol. Based on the background of the problem is the purpose of this research to determine the relationship of the factors of  knowledge about breast milk, breastfeeding techniques, breast care with success of lactation.The design of the research used the correlation method cross sectional. Sampling method used was purposive sampling. Samples taken as 28 puerperal that breastfeed. The independent variable was knowledge about breast milk, breastfeeding techniques, breast care. The dependent variable was success of lactation. The research data was taken used a questionnaire, observation and structured interviews.From calculation used the chi square test statistic. If the chi square count  (X2count) >chi square table (X2table) that is 9.49. Then the hypothesis was accepted. This research showed correlation between knowledge about breast milk with the success of lactation on (X2count)= 33.714 dan (α count) = 0.000. Showed correlation between breastfeeding techniques with the success of lactation on (X2count) = 20.593 dan (α count) = 0.000. Showed correlation between breast care with the success of lactation on (X2count) = 20.593 and (α count) = 0.000. Based on this research, the suggestion are to achieve the success of breastfeeding milk, the role of nurses in support of a good lactation management since the time of pregnancy and delivery of knowledge about breast milk, breastfeeding techniques is correct and maintain a healthy knowledge of the breast.
