Abstract

AbstractThis article describes the existence of local media, discourse of media information dissemination, and implication of construction of reality in local media. Furthermore, this article contributes in study about top  down communication and bottom up communication in rural development, especially in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The change of development paradigm in the world has involved the communication development shift after 1970. The old model of communication development have been rising since the implementation of modernization in the third  world. With the pattern of trickle down effect, communication model have been designed as the linier communication process. Nowadays, we can learn about the phenomenon: development communication in globalization, human interaction as information society, roles of ICT (Information and Communication Technology), participation of grass root in community development, and more. Because of that reasons the application of linier communication model does not  suitable for the communication system in rural development. Therefore the development communication have no relevance with another system in globalization era. Indonesia is a developing countries with many issues of rural development  such as the poverty, political intrigue, conflict of interest, disparity of wealthiness, and sovereignity. Huge amount of the rural community in Indonesia should be the consideration in development policies. Local society in Yogyakarta have strong cultural heritage. Information flow in communication development will be an important point of the communication effectiveness. The grass root people in local area need the right informations which are related with the struggle to reach sovereignity. According  to the social culture factor, many local media and community media did the construction of media news with local wisdom discourse.Key words:  development, development communication, local media, community media,  construction of reality, local wisdom.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how CWM News is framing news about Infrastructure Development that is currently happening in Sorong City since the 2021 period, it will be information disclosure about the active Sorong city government in carrying out development, News framing carried out by local TV CWM News really conveys information. accurate and open to the people in the city of Sorong and can be a function of control between the government and the community in the development process, therefore the role of the local television media is very important in providing objective information in the community. This study aims to analyze the framing of television media coverage on infrastructure development in the city of Sorong. The research method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative using the framing analysis approach to the framing analysis model introduced by Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki. The results showed that news framing in the evening news program CWMNews, regarding the process of infrastructure development in the City of Sorong for the 2021 period with the presence of local television media so that it can help the community get accurate information about infrastructure development in the City of Sorong. By journalistic framing news on CWM TV about infrastructure development as a form of concern from the Sorong City Government regarding infrastructure development, infrastructure development in Sorong City seems to present several achievements that have reached a point. The implication of this research is for the audience or viewers to receive information directly from the source. This can be seen in the news narrative, pictures, and the selection of sources that give a positive image to the evening news.

Abstract

This study aims to communicate political party politics. Self-presentation study of Golkar Party Politicians in the 2019 Election. The type of research used is qualitative. The method used in the case study. This research was conducted at the office of the Central Executive Board of the Golkar Party, West Jakarta. The results of this study were summarized into five points, as follows; First, elections are a political constellation filled with nuances of the image of politicians as well as political strategic steps at the executive level. As a political party that has been well consolidated, the Golkar Party is expected to have a capable capacity when it comes to having the image of the figures it has. So we need a leader who has a new breakthrough with a style and approach in leading that must be better than his predecessor.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh Kompetensi Komunikasi dan Kompetensi Profesional terhadap Kualitas Pembelajaran Berbasis Teknologi Komunikasi Digital di Yayasan Pendidikan Putra Pertiwi Tangerang Selatan. Pertanyaan (1) Bagaimana Pengaruh Kompetensi Komunikasi dan Kompetensi Profesional terhadap Kualitas Pembelajaran Berbasis Teknologi Komunikasi Digital di Sekolah Putra Pertiwi (2) Bagaimana gambaran praktik Kompetensi Komunikasi dan Kompetensi Profesional dalam Peningkatan Kualitas Digital Pembelajaran Berbasis Teknologi Komunikasi di Sekolah Putra Pertiwi. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan pendekatan mix method, yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif yang diperkuat dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yang berkaitan dengan variabel yang diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada guru di Sekolah Putra Pertiwi Kota Tangerang Selatan. Seluruh responden yang berjumlah 38 orang berasal dari SD dan SMP serta SMK Untuk menganalisis data secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menggunakan Analisis Regresi Linier. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan Kompetensi Komunikasi dan Kompetensi Profesional terhadap Kualitas Pembelajaran Berbasis Teknologi Komunikasi Digital.
