Abstract

Tbe research was conducted at Aur Sati VUiage, Tunbang sub district, Kanspar District, Trom May toNovember 20O7, using survey method. Tbe aim of this research were to get information about condition offarming system and to identify marketing potential of low land vegetables with high productkin and goodmarketing potential. Result of research showed thattowland type vegetable with the highest production blong bean and encumber, but tiie one with best marketing potential b spinach. Spinach had highest sellingpercentage eventhough the one with highest profit percentage was long bean.

Abstract

The research on prospect of increasing of lowland vegetables in Pelalawan District was conducted from Mei to November 2005. The research was aimed to get data and informations on the type of vegetable at lowland with high production and had good marketing prospect. Primary data were obtainedby survey methodwith selected 30 farmer and 20 collected traders using simple random sampling. Result of research show that yard longbean and cucumber had high productions, but kangkong has high procentace sale, while spinach and chines cabbage got high procentace profit.

Abstract

Investigation study of adoption level was evaluated from activities to increase product and quality of snake fruit plant conducted by BPTP Riau until 1998. These activities were evaluatedin April to September 2005. The aim of the evaluation was to obtain data on adoption level of recommended technology, and impacts of recommended technology on productivity and farmer income. During evaluation, some information such as farmer income was collected by survey method. Result indicated that score from evaluation of activities to increase product and quality of snake fruit plant averaged 2,04 which was moderate for cooperator farmer, while score for non cooperator farmer, while score for non cooperator farmer averaged 1,69.
