Abstract

The background of this research is the phenomenon of global crisis began with Subprime Mortgage in America which make lots of company in finance get loss and a lot of them must be closed because of bankruptcy. The purpose of this research is to know the implication of macroeconomic especially inflation and GDP (Gross domestic Product) to ROAA (Return on Average Assets) in banking. The subject of this research is the ten biggest banks in category of asset in Indonesia. The object of this research is financial statements of the ten biggest banks in category of asset in Indonesia, GDP Indonesia and inflation in research’s period. The result of this research are with level of confidence 95%, inflation has not significant impact to ROAA while GDP was controlled and GDP has not significant impact to ROAA while inflation was controlled. Keyword : ROAA, Inflation, GDP

Abstract

The background of this research is the growth of Indonesian people’s interest to put their money for investment in mutual fund. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the performance of the mutual fund which revolves in Indonesia with the risk adjusted return performance method. The subject of this research is the equity mutual fund in Indonesia which have been distributed and being actively sold since 1 January 2007 until 31 December 2009. The object of this research is the return of each mutual fund. The result of this research is Panin Dana Maksima, Pratama Saham, Schroder Dana Prestasi Plus, and Si Dana Saham has the best performance according the risk adjusted return performance method.  Key Words- Sharpe ratio, Treynor ratio, and Jensen’s Alpha.

Abstract

Capital structure is one of the most important elements in a company. Decision-making errors in the capital structure may cause a very big impact and it can force the company into bankruptcy. Therefore, in order to continue operating, a company should have an optimal capital structure. Optimal capital structure is achieved at the lowest cost level and the highest level return on equity. The research objective is to measure the financial performance of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk by analyzing the composition of capital structure, ACC, ROE, and whether the capital structure by the years 2004-2008 were optimal or not. From the results of the research, capital structure of PT Telekomonikasi Indonesia, Tbk during the years 2004 -2008 showed an optimal capital structure. The result can be seen as the ROE produced by the company is bigger compared to Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) for each period.Key words : Capital structure, return on equity, Weighted Average Cost of Capital

Abstract

This research is quantitative descriptive research with cross sectional study. The primary data is obtained from students of a university located in Jakarta Barat. The method of sampling is non probability sampling and the technique is judgmental sampling. The sample consisted of 300 respondent. The result of this research shows that there is a positive effect satisfaction to trust, there is a positive effect on trust to commitment, there is a positive effect commitment to loyalty, there is a positive effect satisfaction to loyalty and there is a positive effect trust to loyalty. Key Words- Satisfaction, Trust, Commitment, Loyalty
