Abstract

High blood pressure is a risk factor for stroke, heart attack, heart failure and arterial aneurysm, and is a major cause of chronic heart failure. The study design using analytic cross sectional study. The population in this study were 21 respondents who once used as a sample to the sampling technique total sampling. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire. Family roles research results indicate that the majority of respondents are negative role of the family as many as 12 respondents (57.1%). The intensity of blood pressure showed at most down as many as 8 respondents (38.1%). Cross tabulation shows the most is the respondents who have a positive family role and the intensity drop in blood pressure that is as much as 8 respondents (38.1%). Spearman rho correlation test results obtained Asymp.Sig value of 0.000, which means there is a relationship role of the family in caring for the elderly with the intensity of the blood pressure in the hamlet village Jogodayo Jabon Mojoanyar District of Mojokerto. Family roles affect blood pressure decrease in the intensity of the respondents. Family nursing task is to provide facilities, equipment and support to the elderly to maintain blood pressure by providing facilities, providing information, encouragement and motivation to the elderly to maintain blood pressure.

Abstract

Hypertension is a degenerative disease that characterized by an increase in blood pressure over normal limits. Hypertension become the most common comorbid disease in cases of death due to Covid-19. Compliance with hypertension patients is needed in order to obtain a better quality of life for sufferers. This study aimed to determine the factors that influence the adherence in undergoing hypertension treatment management at the UPTD Puskesmas Sukawati II Gianyar Bali.This study used observational research with a crosssectional design. The variables studied included independent variables consisting of education, age, duration of suffering from hypertension, knowledge about hypertension, and family support. The dependent variable in this study was adherence in undergoing hypertension treatment management. The population in this study were all hypertensive patients as many as 757 people. The sample in this study were 88 hypertensive patients who fit the inclusion criteria who were selected using simple random sampling. The effect of education, age, duration of suffering from hypertension, knowledge about hypertension, and family support on patient adherence was analyzed using logistic regression and SEM.The results showed that there was an influence between education and age on adherence in undergoing hypertension treatment management in hypertensive patients (p value = 0.003), there was an influence between length of illness on adherence to undergoing treatment (pvalue = 0.043), there was an effect of knowledge about hypertension on adherence undergoing treatment management (pvalue=0.002), there is an effect of family support on adherence undergoing treatment management (pvalue=0.000), and family support is proven to be a mediator variable between education and knowledge of patient compliance in undergoing treatment management at the puskesmas (p value = 0.034 and 0.018).Patient education and knowledge about hypertension affect the support provided by the family and family support has a direct effect on patient adherence undergoing treatment management

Abstract

Upaya pembinaan adaptasi kebiasaan baru pada santri TPQ Darul Huda merupakan salah satu bentuk kepedulian civitas STIKES Majapahit terhadap masyarakat agar ikut berperan serta dalam pencegahan Covid 19. Kegiatan ini dilakukan selama bulan Agustus sampai September 2020 yang dilakukan sebanyak 1 kali per minggu selama 3 minggu. Materi yang diberikan 1x 60 menit terhadap santri di kelas. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, diskusi dan demonstrasi. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan santri dalam hal pengertian covid, tanda dan gejala serta cara penerapan protokol kesehatan. Hasil dari evaluasi menunjukkan perubahan yang bermakna dalam hal kepatuhan terhadap protokol kesehatan

Abstract

The public and health teams in Indonesia focus on handling and preventing Covid-19 during the Covid-19 pandemic, on the other hand, the number of dengue cases has actually increased. The purpose of education and training for Jumantik Cadre in Sumbertebu Village, Bangsal District, Mojokerto Regency as a form of community service carried out by the Lecturer and Student Team of the Majapahit Health Sciences College is to provide encouragement and refreshment to jumantik cadres in running again while following health procedures in the Adaptation Era. New Habits of the Covid-19 Pandemic Education and training efforts are carried out using the lecture method and PLA or Participatory Learning and Action, this method allows for community empowerment efforts, especially jumantik cadres. The community service participants were 21 jumantik cadres. The activity which was carried out for almost 1 month was able to increase the knowledge and understanding of jumatic cadres in carrying out supervision and eradication and implementation in strengthening community behavior. This activity is expected to increase the motivation of jumantik cadres to carry out their duties again so that dengue cases do not occur again.
