Abstract

Various cases occur related to certificate falsification and some people and educational institutions have to deal with the law, this problem is not impossible to abuse along with advances and technological innovation with various tools that can be used by anyone. Identifying the diploma document must be of particular concern to tertiary institutions to minimize the associated fake diplomas and the diploma legalization process. In legalizing the diploma for STMIK Indonesia Banda Aceh students, checking the authenticity of the certificate is only by bringing the original certificate and photocopy of the certificate or by contacting the academic party who issued the certificate, this process is sometimes missed by officers when the queue is crowded. The specific objectives of the research include implementing a model and feature method of Gabor Wavelet and Gaussian Mixture Models Super Vector (GMM-SV) for document identification to speed up diploma identification. The flow of this research starts from the input in the form of a basic image as an image that a reference for the authenticity of the diploma. Then the test image input is an image that will be tested for authenticity. The results showed that using the Gabor Wavelet feature and the Gaussian Mixture Models Super Vector (GMM-SV) could identify fake diplomas with an accuracy rate of 92.8%.

Abstract

Blockchain is an information recording system and cannot be modified, hacked, or cheated. Along with the development of new technologies, researchers hope blockchain technology will have the same impact on the world of education, especially in universities in Indonesia. From the results of this study, there will be a model of a diploma verification system based on blockchain technology. From the problems above, it is necessary to make a prototype that can see or detect the authenticity of a document, especially for diplomas at tertiary institutions in Indonesia. Namely by implementing blockchain technology as the latest innovation for the future of the Digital Diploma Document Verification System in Indonesia and the World. Specific research objectives include; 1) Designing computer vision-based tools to determine the identification of the authenticity of diploma documents, 2) Developing prototypes and testing functional programming to determine the level of suitability with field conditions, 3) Implementing blockchain and similar technologies for diploma identification in order to accelerate diploma identification. The research flow begins by inputting the main image of the STMIK Indonesia Banda Aceh certificate. Then it is described in the Blockchain format of five chains, where each chain tests using the Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) method, and the highest value is an identical image. This study's results indicate identical images founds using the Block Chain format and the PSNR method.

Abstract

The development of transportation technology continues to progress with various models and forms of vehicles that have been produced both on a small scale and on a large scale. The large use of transportation equipment can cause congestion in operating it, one way to reduce this congestion is to use a vehicle-to-vehicle communication system in conditions where there are no obstacles and there are obstacles based on the parameters used through Bit Error Rate and Throuhgput. Vehicular ad hoc network (VANET) is a discipline branch of mobile ad hoc network (MANET) which has the advantage of being able to adapt points to vehicles, markings, signs and buildings. Information exchange on VANET technology communication consists of vehicle to vehicle (V2V) and vehicle to infrastructure (V2I). This study discusses the comparison of VANET networks when there are no obstacles (LOS) and obstacles (NLOS) conditions using Quarature Amplitude Modulation 16 bits per symbol (16-QAM). The use of the single relay method in this study consists of a simulation stage with the MATLAB application and an analysis of the simulation results obtained after carrying out the simulation. The results of this study are a comparison method between vehicles in the single relay network model where the value of the Bit Error Rate without obstacles is BER to distance ratio 〖4.54 x 10〗^(-5), BER to SNR 〖3.00 x 10〗^(-3), BER to speed 〖5.39 x 10〗^(-5). Whereas for Throughput when there are no obstacles, the value of Throughput to distance ratio is 23.750 Mbps, Throughput to SNR is 23.927 Mbps. Throughput to speed of 23.849 Mbps.. Then for comparison when there are obstacles, the value for Bit Error Rate is BER to distance ratio 〖7.17 x 10〗^(-5), BER to SNR 〖3.28 x 10〗^(-3), BER to speed 〖9.56 x 10〗^(-5) and the Throughput value when there are obstacles is the Throughput to distance ratio of 23.486 Mbps. Throughput of SNR 23.920 Mbps, Throughput of speed 23.633 Mbps
