Abstract

Current technological developments have reached all fields including education. With the support of technology, teaching and learning activities can increase to a better level. The problem that occurs at this time in improving the quality of education is the difficulty of students to get grades that are in accordance with the Minimum Completeness Criteria, the difficulty of the teacher providing material in accordance with each student's learning style. This study aims to develop adaptive E-Learning to assist teachers in recommending material that is suitable for each student's learning style. This adaptive e-learning adopts a Visual Auditory Kinesthetic (VAK) learning style and to recommend material using the Case Based Reasoning (CBR) method. Student test results after using adaptive E-learning have fulfilled the Teaching Mastery Criteria with an average grade of 85. This suggests that under adaptive E-learning has been able to improve student grades.

Abstract

Academic success for a student is influenced by many factors during their study period. Factors such as student gender, student absenteeism, parental satisfaction with schools, relations and parents who are responsible for students can influence student success in the academic field. Researchers try to find out what are the most dominant factors in determining academic success for a student at different levels of education such as elementary, middle and high school level. Previous research grouped the level of student academic success into three levels, namely low, medium, high and obtained 15 Association Rules Generated By Apriori Algorithm. This study tried to find out and predict the possible level of academic success of students by using 9 Association Rules Generated By Apriori Algorithm from previous research. The method used to predict the level of student academic success is case based reasoning with the nearest neighbor algorithm. By using the Association Rules Generated By Image Algorithm and with the data set from the xAPIEducational Mining Dataset the case similarity value was obtained with knowledge data that is 1 with a percentage of 81%, and data that had a similarity value of less than 1 was 19%. While in the previous study the best classification accuracy was 80.6% by the Voting classifier. And the grouping of success data is divided into two, namely low and high.

Abstract

To make students can learn well, it is necessary to group students according to their abilities. This grouping of students aims to allow students to share knowledge based on the diversity of learning performance of each student. Students' academic performance can be influenced by several factors including intellectual, ability to learn and personality of each student. From these factors obtained academic performance results are grouped into five pieces of learning performance that will later be used as a rule base or rule base in the system. Rule base that is used as a benchmark for academic performance of students is (1) very bad, (2) bad, (3) medium, (4) good, and (5) very good. Grouping students based on predicted learning performance using case based reasoning method with nearest neighbor algorithm. The accuracy of the results of learning performance recommendations using Confusion Matrix is 91.82%

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi yang berkembang, teknologi informasi khusus, mendorong orang untuk mengembangkan media yang dapat digunakan kapan saja dan di mana saja. Selain itu, metode pembelajaran klasik memerlukan guru untuk menggunakan media yang lebih relevan dengan zaman, sehingga siswa lebih termotivasi untuk belajar sejarah. Media adalah media pembelajaran yang memberikan sejarah bagi Media Interaktif. Teknik mengumpulkan data, yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan para peneliti itu sendiri. Analisis survei digunakan untuk memverifikasi data yang diperlukan. Tujuan penelitian adalah: (a) membuat sejarah pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif Media Interaktif untuk siswa kelas IX SMP Semester Ganjil, (b) menggunakan langkah-langkah pembelajaran berbasis media pembelajaran interaktif sejarah media untuk siswa kelas IX di SMP Semester Ganjil, (c) mengembangkan bahan yang digunakan dalam pengembangan menggunakan Media Interaktif untuk siswa kelas IX SMP Semester Ganjil. Hasil media pembelajaran sejarah bisa diterapkan dengan baik pada Sekolah Menengah Pertama Semester Ganjil. Kata kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Media Interaktif, E-Learning, Pendidikan, Sejarah .

Abstract

Jalan Desa Batumarta Unit I sampai Desa Battu Winangun Kecamatan Lubuk Raja merupakan jalur lalu lintas yang cukup tinggi penggunanya dan saat ini kondisinya banyak mengalami kerusakan dan permukaan jalan yang tidak rata atau bergelombang. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisa pengaruh penambahan campuran serbuk sterofom dan biji plastik sebesar 0%, 1%, dan 1,5% terhadap nilai CBR tanah dasar (subgrade) pada Jalan Desa Batumarta I sampai Desa Battu Winangun Kecamatan Lubuk Raja. Berdasarkan survey dilapangan di 3 titik sampel dan hasil uji di Laboratorium Program Studi Teknik Sipil Universitas Baturaja menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh penambahan serbuk Styrofoam dan biji plastik pada komposisi campuran sebesar 1% di titik 1 terdapat peningkatan nilai CBR dan DDT yaitu CBR 6,0 % - 52 DDT, di titik 3 CBR 5,2 % - 4,8 DDT, sedangkan di titik 2 CBR 5,9 % - 5,1 DDT, di mana nilai CBR di titik 3 tidak mencapai nilai kualitas CBR yang maksimal. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa dengan komposisi campuran tanah dasar ditambah 1% serbuk styrofoam dan biji plastik merupakan formula komposisi campuran yang baik dan dapat mencapai nilai CBR yang stabil terutama di titik 1 dan titik 2. Di mana semakin besar kadar serbuk styrofoam dan biji plastik yang ditambahkan, maka daya dukung tanah akan mengalami penurunan di karenakan serbuk styrofoam dan biji plastik merupakan unsur material bukan pengikat.

Abstract

Teknologi VOIP yang digunakan pada PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) adalah IP PBX yang terkoneksi lanngsung dengan MPLS indosat. VOIP merupakan singkatan dari Voice Over Internet Protocol atau juga bisa dinamakan sebagai IP Telephony, Digital Phone, atau Internet Telephony. Teknologi ini digunakan untuk berkomunikasi secara jarak jauh dengan memanfaatkan koneksi internet. Dalam penulisan tugas akhir artikel ini mengunakan metode observasi, interview dan literatur. Dengan menggunakan VOIP sebagai komunikasi suara pada PT. Semen Baturaja dapat membberikan keuntungan dan kemudahan dalam melakukan komunikasi dengan cabang perusahaan yang ada di kota lain terutama dari segi biaya. VoIP memiliki keunggulan yang tidak dimiliki oleh PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network). VOIP sudah banyak diterapkan ke dalam berbagai macam pemanfaatan standar dan juga protocol yang bersifat open source. PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) telah menggunakan VOIP untuk dapat berhubungan dengan mudah dan baik, untuk itu saya tertarik untuk mendalami apa itu VOIP di PT Semen Baturaja. IP Telephony Internet Telephony Broadband Telephony atau diistilahkan dengan VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) merupakan teknologi yang memanfaatkan Internet Protocol untuk menyediakan komunikasi suara secara elektronis dan real-time.

Abstract

Seiring kemajuan teknologi informasi dan telekomunikasi dan juga maraknya penggunaan internet sangat banyak perusahaan yang beralih menggunakan internet sebagai bagian dari sebuah jaringan mereka dalam menghemat suatu biaya. Akan tetapi permasalahan dalam keamanan masih menjadi salah satu factor utama. Dalam mengatasi suatu masalah keamanan tersebut peneliti menawarkan sebuah solusi berupa sebuah system yang disebut virtual rivate network (VPN) Sehingga dapat diakses oleh para karyawan PT. Semen Baturaja. Metode yang terdapat dalam system ini adalah metode PPTP ( Point To Point Tunneling Protocol), L2TP, Tunneling Protocol, Remote procedure Call (RPC). Abstract

There is a diversity of academic abilities of students in each Indonesian educational institution, each student has different learning abilities according to the level of learning. Educators in providing learning level predictions are done manually, so it takes a long time in predicting student learning levels. In this study, it was able to predict students' academic abilities in an easy and fast way. The method used in predicting learning levels is Case Based Reasoning. This method is able to predict the student's learning level to be (1) Very Bad, (2) Bad, (3) Medium, (4) Good, and (5) Very Good. This level of learning will be used as a benchmark for educators to provide appropriate values to students. The results of this study for the academic performance of the very poor category are 0 students, the bad category is 3 students, the medium category is 79 students, the good category is 16 students and the excellent category is 12 students. The accuracy of academic performance recommendations using confusion matrix is 91.82%.
