Abstract

This article studied spectrum of strongly regular graph. This spectrum can be determined by the number of walk with lenght l on connected simple graph, equation of square adjacency matrix and eigen value of strongly regular graph.

Abstract

Indonesia has been being a country which has the most victims of avian influenza case. Avian influenza is caused by influenza virus H5N1 type. This virus can be transmitted from infected poultry to susceptible poultry and infected poutry to susceptible human. This paper describes an SIR (Susceptible, Infection, Recovery) mathematic model for the spread of avian influenza disease. The basic reproduction number will be obtained for analyzing what are the factors that can influence the epidemic. By the Pontryagin Maximum Principle, it can be seen how is the influence of vaccine as a control to the spread of disease.

Abstract

In this paper, we study the dynamic behavior of predator-prey model using functional response type II and symbiotic mutualism of prey. One of the six equilibrium points is the coexistence point which is asymtotically stable. In this point, the number of prey and predator for a long term depends on the interaction level of prey to another species and the interaction level of another species to prey.

Abstract

A BTS (Base Transceiver Station) is an element that has an important role as a receiver and transmitter of signals. A call request from a mobile phone to another through a BTS will be connected if there is a channel available. In the situation of overload, it is necessary to optimize the use of the bandwidth. This research consider the problem of optimizing the use of BTS’s bandwidth by users at four regions of Surabaya. The problem is represented as a mathematical model of the preemptive linear goal programming. The model has two optimization goals with the priority level. The method of sequential goal programming is used. Based on the solution, BTS traffic capacity can accommodate all the traffic demand from cellular phone users if the region A has 131,58 Erlang, region B has 1.425,45 Erlang, region C has 351,4 Erlang, and region D has 619,57 Erlang. The total capacity of traffic does not exceed the total capacity of BTS, because the total traffic capacity is decrease by 81,67 Erlang. The study also shows that a changing in the order of objective goal is not recommended.
