Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve students’ activity and learning outcomes in writing a traditional poetry using pakem method. It is a classroom action research held in SMPN 5 Tenggarong,  Kutai Kartanegara Regency, in the odd semester in academic year 2015/2016. The research object is the students of IX-A. It uses some steps, such as planning, actuating, observing/evaluating, and reflecting. It can be concluded that there are students’ activity and learning outcome improvement in the academic year 2015/2016 in writing a traditional poetry using PAKEM method.

Abstract

This study aimed to increase the activity and the learning outcome of writing fabel using Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model in grade VIII-C of Smp Negeri 5 Tenggarong. It was conducted in three cycles and each cycle consisted of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The result showed that the use of STAD cooperative learning model in the learning of writing fable could improve grade VIII-C SMP Negeri 5 Tenggarong students’ activity and learning outcomes in academic year 2016/2017.

Abstract

This study aims to improve learning outcomes of class VIII-C students of SMP Negeri 5 Tenggarong, academic year of 2018/2019, in writing fantasy stories using the Pakem method. It  was conducted in 3 (three) cycles and each of them consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the use of Pakem method in the learning of writing fantasy stories can improve the learning outcomes of class VIII-C students of SMP Negeri 5 Tenggarong in the academic year of 2018/2019.
