Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic disrupts many aspects of life. Over the last few years, our behavior has needed to adapt to a new normal. One of the most observable changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic is the implementation of teleworking or a work from home policy. Many companies take the initiative of workplace alignment with new hybrid working methods to face post-pandemic Covid19 to stay productive and relevant to a business challenge. The purpose of this study was to fill the gaps by investigating several potential predictors of job satisfaction during hybrid working implementation in the post-pandemic COVID-19, such as work-life balance and workload. Using quantitative explanatory research methodology, 138 employees from Indonesia's leading heavy equipment company experiencing hybrid working participated. The responses were analyzed using Smart-PLS software to create the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The study revealed that hybrid working has a significant effect directly on work-life balance and workload. It also indirectly affects job satisfaction through work-life balance (full mediation). On the other hand, hybrid working does not directly and insignificantly affect job satisfaction as well as workloads that cannot mediate hybrid working on job satisfaction (no mediation). In the post-pandemic period, hybrid working as a new way of working can maintain employee job satisfaction in the current work environment. In response to future business challenges, hybrid working may be a viable alternative for boosting organizational productivity.

This quantitative research uses primary data; Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) PLS was used to analyze the data obtained from ABC Company. Researchers obtained 96 respondent data based on predetermined criteria, which were analyzed using SmartPLS software. The results showed that the seven hypotheses tested were accepted. Based on the findings of this study that sales training, sales experience, and adaptive selling behavior directly affect salesperson performance; sales training and sales experience directly affect adaptive selling behavior; adaptive selling behavior can also mediate sales training and sales experience affects salesperson performance. This study also shows that sales experience is the most influential variable on adaptive selling behavior, so the management of ABC Company also needs to make strategies and competency acceleration programs that can accelerate sales experience.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the logistics delivery performance of rental tools delivery for temporary import in XYZ Power Plant Project at the Energy Service Division. This research is a mixture of quantitative and qualitative research and using both primary and secondary data, which collected from the company data including interview with the logistics manager and monitoring delivery data of XYZ Power Plant Project in the Logistics Department Energy Service Division. After the data was gathered, AMOS software is used to provide Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Path Diagram in order to identify influential factors to logistics delivery performance. Furthermore, to measure the KPI in terms of delivery reliability of logistics delivery performance levels of rental tools in XYZ power plant project in 2013 by the logistics department in the energy service fossil division. This study uses time series data from September 2013 - December 2013. Based on the results of research, it can be seen that customs clearance has positive moderate correlation to the logistics delivery performance, while number of items factor has a positive weak correlation to the logistics delivery performance. This research also found that the KPI in terms of delivery reliability of delivery performance level of rental tools in XYZ power plant project 2013 by the logistics department in the energy service division is 56.67%” which is Insufficient in logistics benchmark level. Thus, in purpose of increasing the logistics delivery performance in the XYZ Power Plant Project, the company should improve the delivery reliability. In addition the company should pay more attention to customs clearance process, since customs clearance is the most influential factor to the logistics delivery performance. Keywords: Logistics, Delivery Reliability, KPI, Temporary Import, On-Time Delivery.
