Abstract

Masa Pandemi Covid-19 memiliki efek peningkatan dalam penggunaan peralatan listrik. Penggunaan peralatan listrik yang baik dan benar harus diketahui karena merupakan alat yang langsung bersentuhan dengan manusia. Bahaya-bahaya yang dapat ditimbulkan karena penggunaan yang salah dan pemakaian peralatan–peralatan listrik yang di luar standar merupakan tindakan yang dapat membahayakan pengguna dan lingkungan sekitar. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pemahaman tentang bahaya tegangan sentuh dan hubung singkat pada warga yang berada di desa Kota Pari, Serdang Bedagai. Penyampaian informasi dilakukan dengan metode wawancara langsung kepada warga yang berada pada desa Kota Pari sebagai analisis situasi, presentasi, pemutaran video dan tanya jawab merupakan metode yang dilakukan pada saat dilaksanakannya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Peningkatan pemahaman tentang bahaya tegangan sentuh dan hubung singkat berhasil dilakukan dengan hasil peningkatan sebesar 80%. Sehingga diharapkan warga desa kota Pari dapat lebih memahami dan menghindari bahaya kebakaran yang pernah terjadi pada wilayah Serdang Bedagai umumnya dan desa kota Pari khususnya.

Abstract

Didalam penelitian ini melakuan pembahasan Instalasi listrik bangunan sebagai rakitan perlengkapan listrik pada bangunan yang berkaitan satu sama lain, untuk memenuhi tujuan atau maksud tertentu dan memiliki karakteristik terkoordinasi, apa yang sudah tertuang pada Persyaratan Umum Instalasi Listrik (PUIL 2000). Maksud dan tujuan dari instalasi listrik ialah agar pengusahaan instalasi listrik terselenggara dengan baik, untuk menjamin keselamatan manusia dari bahaya kejut listrik, keamanan instalasi listrik beserta perlengkapannya, keamanan gedung serta isinya dari kebakaran akibat listrik, dan perlindungan lingkungan. Hal-hal yang selama ini dianggap sepele oleh masyarakat, tanpa disadari telah menjadi pemicu tingginya angka kasus kebakaran. Kebakaran dapat terjadi jika ada tiga unsur, yaitu bahan yang mudah terbakar, oksigen dan percikan api. Hubungan pendek arus listrik atau (korsleting listrik) yang menimbulkan percikap api terhadap bahan yang mudah terbakar, masih menjadi pemicu tingginya angka kebakaran.

Abstract

In this study conducted a discussion of electrical installation of buildings as electrical equipment assemblies in buildings related to each other, to meet certain purposes or intentions and have coordinated characteristics, what is already stated in the General Requirements of Electrical Installation (PUIL 2000). The purpose and purpose of the electrical installation is for the business of electrical installations to be held properly, to ensure human safety from the dangers of electric shock, the safety of electrical installations and their equipment, the security of buildings and their contents from fires caused by electricity, and environmental protection. Things that have been considered trivial by the community, unwittingly have been the trigger for the high number of fire cases. Fires can occur if there are three elements, namely flammable materials, oxygen and sparks. Short circuit of electric current or (electrical short circuit) that causes flame catches to flammable materials, is still the trigger for high fire rates.

Abstract

At the momentIn Indonesia, the process for checking postpaid electricity meters is carried out by PLN officers by taking a photo of the KwH electricity meter stand. Officers will come to the house then check and take photos of the meter to ensure the electricity bill matches the customer's usage. This is less efficient because it wastes a lot of time and energy. For this reason, a system was created that can monitor electricity usage in real time through the Firebase application and MIT App Invertor so that the monitoring process can run quickly and accurately. This system uses ESP32 as a microcontroller, Arduino as a sender of data reading results, PZEEM 004-T as an electrical data reader, SIM 800 v2 module as a data sender to Android and LCD to display data.

Abstract

The hybrid power generation system (solar cells and diesel generator) is one of the alternative solutions to the negative impacts of conventional energy systems on ships in Indonesia. The use of this hybrid power generation system can support the development of environmentally friendly ship technology as global warming issues become more widespread. The advantages of implementing a hybrid power generation system include a reduction in fuel consumption by the generator and a simultaneous decrease in emissions from the ship. Choosing a hybrid system with solar power is particularly advantageous in Indonesia due to its abundant sunlight. This study employs technical and economic analytical methods to design a hybrid power generation system (solar cells and diesel generator). Technical and economic analyses are conducted using a tanker ship as the research object, comparing the hybrid power generation system with the conventional system widely used on ships in Indonesia. The research results indicate that the implementation of a hybrid power generation system on tanker ships results in a 15.5% annual fuel consumption saving compared to the use of conventional power generation systems. Therefore, due to the increased investment costs and reduced operational costs in the hybrid power generation system compared to the conventional system, the break-even point can be achieved in 3.69 years or equivalent to a total nominal cost of Rp 23,980,000,000.00 or $1,803,007.52.
