<![CDATA[Tujuan penelitian menganalisis frekuensi dispensasi kawin anak dibawah umur pada Pengadilan Agama wilayah Sulawesi Barat dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Metode yang digunakan peneliti adalah penelitian deskriptik-analitik. Hasil penelitian bahwa frekuensi dispensasi kawin di wilayah Sulawesi Barat pada 4 (empat) Pengadilan Agama di wilayah Sulawesi Barat yaitu Pengadilan Agama Polewali, Pengadilan Agama Majene, Pengadilan Agama Mamuju dan Pengadilan Agama Pasangkayu mengalami peningkatan yang tinggi di tahun 2020, hal ini sejak dikeluarkannya Undang-Undang Nomor 16 Tahun 2019 tentang Perubahan Atas Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 tentang Perkawinan. Adapun faktor-faktor yang melatar belakangi maraknya perkara dispensasi kawin di wilayah Sulawesi Barat adalah faktor agama, faktor telah hamil diluar nikah, faktor pendidikan, faktor ekonomi dan faktor adat (budaya). Dari kelima faktor tersebut didominasi oleh faktor agama. The research objective was to analyze the frequency of dispensation of underage marriages at the West Sulawesi Religious Courts and the factors that influence it. The method used by researchers is descriptive-analytic research. The results showed that the frequency of dispensation of marriage in West Sulawesi in 4 (four) Religious Courts in West Sulawesi, namely the Polewali Religious Court, the Majene Religious Court, the Mamuju Religious Court and the Pasangkayu Religious Court experienced a high increase in 2020, this has been since the issuance of the Law. -Law Number 16 of 2019 concerning Amendments to Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage. As for the factors behind the rampant cases of dispensation of marriage in West Sulawesi are religious factors, factors having been pregnant outside of marriage, educational factors, economic factors and cultural factors.
