<![CDATA[Tujuan penelitian menganalisis proses penanganan tindak pidana terhadap anak yang dilakukan oleh Unit PPA Satuan Reskrim Polres Barru dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan normatif – empiris. Hasil penelitian bahwa enanganan Tindak Pidana terhadap Anak di Kabupaten Barru yang dilakukan oleh Unit Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak Satuan Reskrim Polres Barru melalui upaya damai atau restorative justice. Proses restorative justice pada dasarnya dilakukan melalui diskresi (kebijaksanaan) dan diversi yaitu pengalihan dari proses peradilan pidana ke luar proses formal untuk diselesaikan secara musyawarah, dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan keseimbangan, atau pemulihan keadaan; Faktor pendukung penanganan tindak pidana terhadap Anak di Kabupaten Barru yang dilakukan oleh Unit Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak Satuan Reskrim Polres Barru adalah kebijakan pimpinan satuan kerja, sumber daya, pemanfaatan media elektronik, peraturan perundang-undangan yang menjadi dasar dalam proses penyidikan dan respon positif dari korban dan keluarga korban terhadap pelayanan dan penanganan dalam proses penyidikan. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah faktor karakter anak, fasilitas sarana dan prasarana, kerjasama dengan lembaga/instansi terkait, jumlah personel dan paradigma masyarakat.
