Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the equilibrium of external genetic for the population of crossbreed chicken. Observations were made at the Poultry Production Unit Laboratory at Gorontalo State University. The focus was focused on the genetic equilibrium of the feathers covering the body, variations in coat color, calf color, and comb shape of the crossing population. Algebraic analysis (a + b = 1) was used to calculate phenotype frequencies, genes, and genes heterozygosity of feather color, feather pattern, shank color and comb shape for the cross chicken population. Analysis of genetic Equiblirium in the pattern of feather color, coat color, shank color, and comb shape in chicken populations was used the chi-square test. The genetic equilibrium for feather pattern can be achieved in the f2 generation. The f2 population found 3 feather color patterns: black, brown/light brown, and Columbia. Phenotype distribution; 9: 4: 3. The frequency of Genesis 0.157; 0.296; 0.546 and there was an increase in heterozygosity by 0.688 ± 0.121. The genetic equilibrium for comb shape is achieved in f1 and f2 generations. The genetic equilibrium for feather pattern can be achieved in the f2 generation.  The genetic equilibrium in cross-breed populations that have recessive/dominant homozygotes can be achieved in one generation while for cross-breeding chickens that have heterozygous properties, genetic equilibrium can be achieved in short generations if these traits are expressed evenly in the population.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunan kunyit dalam pakan ayam kampung super terhadap karateristik Feses yang dihasilkan. Sebanyak 120 ekor Ayam Kampung Super digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Periode perlakuan dilakukan pada hari ke-17 sampai hari ke-60. Kandang yang digunakan adalah personal cage, ukuran kandang 100 cm x 100 cm, sebanyak 20 unit dan masing masing cage. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Pemberian tepung kunyit pada pakan ayam kampung super tanpa kunyit (P0) menunjukan feses yang dihasilkan dominan bertekstur padat-cair, dengan warna feses putih kecoklatan dan bau yang sangat menyengat. Sedangkan  pemberian pakan dan tepung kuyit hingga 6%, tekstur feses dominan bertekstur padat, warna feses coklat sedikit putih, hitam, dengan bau yang tidak menyengat. Terjadi penurunan pH feses berkisar 6.60 ( tanpa kunyit) menjadi 5.61 (diberi kunyit). Bobot feses setiap perlakuan adalah sama.   Pemberian tepung kunyit hingga 6 % dalam bahan pakan mampu menurunkan pH feses, dan memperbaiki karateristik visual feses ayam Kampung Super

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate body weight gain (PBB), ration consumption and ration conversion of Kampung Super chickens fed with turmeric flour in their rations. Single factor analysis was used in this study. Turmeric flour was given in stages: 0% (control), 2%, 4%, and 6%. Based on the results of the evaluation for ration consumption, it showed that the provision of turmeric flour was not significantly different (P 0.05) on the ration of super native chicken consumption. The average feed consumption is 324.39-338.69 g / head. Evaluation of body weight gain, showed that giving turmeric flour had a significant effect (P 0.05) on body weight gain. The ration conversion evaluation showed that the use of turmeric flour had a significant effect (P 0.05) on the ration conversion of Kampung Super chickens. The addition of 2-6% turmeric flour to native chicken rations showed an increase in body weight, a decrease in ration conversion. The recommendation for using turmeric in the super native chicken ration is 4% of the total basal ration

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of gastrointestinal cestodiasis in goats. The sample collection was carried out in September-October 2019 in Tilongkabila and Kabila Bone Districts. Examination of feces samples used the Native method, Sedimentation and Flotation. A total of 3 samples of goat feces from Tilongkabila District, and 6 samples of goat feces from Kabila Bone District contained Cestoda worm eggs. The prevalence of Cestodiasis in goats in Tilongkabila District is: 3.5%. The presence of cestodiasis in goats obtained by the Natif method: 0%, precipitation: 2.3% and flotation: 1.2%. The prevalence of Cestodiasis in goats in Kabila Bone District was: 6.6%. The presence of cestodiasis in goats produced based on the Native method: 1.1%, Precipitation: 3.3% and Flotation

Abstract

Pupuk merupakan kebutuhan dasar bagi dunia pertanian khususnya budidaya tanaman. Ketersediaan pupuk bagi tanaman harus terpenuhi untuk dapat mencapai hasil yang maksimal. Kertsediaan pupuk sering kali mengalami masalah dalam distribusinya, karena disebabkan banyak faktor yang menghambat. Distribusi yang kurang merata dapat menimbulkan kendala bagi proses budidaya yang dilakukan sehingga berpengaruh juga terhadap produksi hasil pertanian. Abstract

Supervision of the conservation of bat animals in ensuring the preservation of bat animals and economic stability for the beneficiary groups. The purpose of the service is to implement independent supervision of bat conservation. Conservation monitoring activities are carried out in the Bat Conservation area in Olibu Village, Paguyaman Pantai District, Boalemo Regency. The target group is the Bat Utilization Group and the community. Service activities are focused on increasing group and community understanding of supervisory understanding (1). Designing an independent conservation monitoring model focused on monitoring the fishing process and monitoring conservation areas (2). Monitoring line (3). The initial assessment illustrates that the group's understanding of the importance of supervision is still low at 9.95% before receiving material delivery. The final assessment illustrates that there is an increased understanding of knowledge about the self-monitoring model that will be applied in conservation areas by 82.93%. Supervision activities on the management of bat animal capture are comprehensive supervision, starting from the time the catching is carried out until the bats are marketed. Supervision during capture is needed in order to stabilize the protection and survival of captured bats, especially for animals that are not fit to be caught and traded. Supervision of Conservation Areas is the right step to take in preserving bat animals and economic stability for groups using bats, in addition to existing conservation areas, they can develop into tourist areas. There are 2 bat control lines and a conservation area, namely land and sea routes. The monitoring model for bat conservation independently can be realized by involving groups of users, the village community as the object of supervision over the activities of monitoring the capture management process and supervision of conservation areas, while the Olibu village government as a supervisory control through implementation.

Abstract

Pengelolaan konservasi kelelawar di wilayah In-situ dilakukan sebagai upaya penyelarasaan antara nilai ekonomi dan nilai konservasi kelelawar pada masa pandemic Covid 19, sehingga memberi harapan baru perbaikan ekonomi bagi kelompok pemanfaat kelelawar dan keberlanjutan konservasi. Tujuan Pengabdian ini untuk menerapankan tatakelola konservasi kelelawar di wilayah In-situ dimasa Pandemi COVID-19. Pendekatan pengelolan melalui model PRA (Participatory Research Appraisal). Analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk menggambarkan pengelolaan konservasi kelelawar. I, dilakukan di awal pandemic di Indonesia terutama untuk kegiatan penangkapan sampai pemasaran satwa Kelelawar. Perubahan tatakelola II dilakukan pada pertengahan tahun 2020, karena adanya perubahan dinamika anggota kelompok sebagai akibat Kebutuhan ekonomi, Harga kelelawar dan jumlah permintaan kelelawar yang meningkat. Perubahan tatakelola konservasi kelelawar selama masa pandemic Covid 19 meningkatkan kesadaran tentang Covid 19, meningkatkan indeks kelimpahan dan meningkatkan pendapatan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian tepung kunyit (Curcuma domestica Val.) dalam ransum terhadap persentase karkas ayam kampung super. Penelitian ini menggunakan 80 ekor ayam kampung super yang ditempatkan pada 20 unit kandang dengan masing-masing kandang diisi 4ekor. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan yang dicobakan pada penelitian ini yaitu A0( tanpa tepung kunyit atau kontrol), A1 (tepung kunyit 2%), A2 (tepung kunyit 4%), dan A3 (tepung kunyit 6%). Variabel yang diamati adalah bobot hidup, bobot karkas, dan persentase karkas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian tepung kunyit (Curcuma domestica Val) tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot hidup, bobot karkas, dan persentase karkas ayam kampung super. Pemberian tepung kunyit sampai level 6% dapat di gunakan dalam ransum, namun  tidak mempengaruhi bobot hidup, bobot karkas, dan persentase karkas.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of group participation in the Bali cattle business in Limehu village, Tabongo district, Gorontalo district. The research method used is a survey method by preparing primary and secondary data. Data were collected by observation and interviews with a questionnaire instrument. Determination of sampling is done at simple random, with a total of 59 respondents. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis, which was assisted by an ordinal scoring technique from the order of High, Medium, Low. The results of the analysis show that the level of farmer participation in Limehu Village, Tabongo District, Gorontalo Regency is in the good (high) category, with an average of 1167 with a total score of 3,501. The business contribution of 100% is still productive to the participation rate, 23% of education is still lacking for the participation rate, 20.33% or 3-4 head of livestock ownership is classified as a side business, 77.96% experience of raising 1-3 years is good but needs to be improved in the cattle business cut.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the performance of the starter phase of super free-range chicken fed turmeric flour rations.This research was carried out from June to August 2020 at the Poultry Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, State University of Gorontalo. A total of 80 super free-range chickens aged 1 day were used as research objects, using the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method. The average weight gain, consumption and conversion of each treatment were: 103.85 g, 285.03g, 2.74 (P0); 99.16g, 275.49g, 2.78 (P1); 109.16g, 283.10g , 2.60 (P2); and 98.51g, 109.16g, 2.78(P3). These results illustrate that the provision of turmeric flour in the ration has no effect on super free-range chickens during their growth period. Super free-range chickens in the starter phase can be given turmeric flour up to 6% in their rations.
