Abstract

Acupressure is a technique using touch / contact to balance the energy channels in the body or Qi. Acupressure contests useful for disease prevention, cure, rehabilitation (recovery), relaxation and increase endurance. Acupressure can also be used to treat pain during menstruation (dysmenorrhea). Target and outcome: an increase in knowledge and skills of women, the leaflets about the relaxation of the body and reduce dysmenorrhea, as well as community service articles published. Methods: divided into four sessions, namely working on the pretest, delivery of content and practice of acupressure, question and answer sessions working on the posttest. Submission of material is done by means of lectures and brainstorming as well as the demonstration of acupressure points used. Result: there is an increased knowledge of the pretest and posttest value of the average value before training (pre-test) 32.86 into 71.84 (post-test), in addition to the upgrading of skills seen from acupressure point positioning accuracy. Conclusion: The community service is to enhance the knowledge and skills of participants on acupressure to relax the body and overcome dysmenorrhoea.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is among the top 10 patterns of disease in Surakarta. The prevalence of DM in Surakarta was 5,470 per 100,000 inhabitants in 2018. Dm sufferers can occur neuropathic disorders, structural changes, callus skin protrusions, skin and nail changes, leg wounds, infections and vascular abnormalities. 50% of DM sufferers have a disability in the legs, 24% have peripheral neuropathy and another 11% have peripheral vascular disease. 60% of all patients have a risk of leg ulcers occurring. To do this prevention, it is necessary to detect diabetic foot ulcers and blood sugar levels on a regular basis. From the examination conducted to 49 dm sufferers obtained 19 dm sufferers have high blood sugar levels. From the Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) examination there were 4 people with ischemia, and from the examination of foot sensitivity there were 5 people experiencing a decrease in foot sensitivity. Based on the results of the examination, DM sufferers know their blood sugar levels and also know the level of risk of diabetic foot ulcers, so as to take precautions so as not to occur diabetic wounds, especially in the legs.

Abstract

Background : Children's growth is influenced by several things, one of them  is the nutritional intake of the food they consume. When the child has received MPASI, the composition in it must be in accordance with the recommendations from IDAI. That is the proportion for carbohydrates as much as 35-55%, protein which is preferably animal protein as much as 15-20%, fat as much as 35-60%, and fruit or vegetables only as an introduction. Objective: the effect of giving olive oil on the weight gain of toddlers. Methodology: This research is a type of descriptive research. The subjects of the research were toddlers aged 6-24 months in Kemiri KebakkramatKaranganyar. The total population in this study was 109 people with 15 people as samples. This research was conducted in March-June 2021. Results: Most of the respondents gave olive oil regularly every day as much as 86.6%. Most of the people who gave olive oil on a daily basis experienced an 80% weight gain. Conclusion: Giving olive oil as fat in the composition of  MPASI according to the portion of the dose has an effect on weight gain of toddlers.
