Abstract

ABSTRACTPurpose — This research aims to examine the effect of relational capital to supply chain integration and supply chain responsiveness.Design/methodology/approach — This research uses explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The object of this research was in four districts of East Java at Nganjuk, Kediri, Malang, and Probolinggo which are the centers of onion production that have similar environmental conditions. The sampling method in this research used multistage proportional random sampling with 200 respondents as a sample of this research. Data analysis uses the path analysis method by software SPSS 23.Findings — The results show that the relational capital has a positive and not significant effect on the supply chain integration and relational capital has a positive and significant effect on the supply chain responsiveness.Practical Implications — Supply chain responsiveness is greatly affected by the relational capital but not with the supply chain integration.Originality/value — Keywords Agroindustry, Relational Capital, Shallot, Supply Chain Integration, Supply Chain ResponsivenessPaper Type research paper (case study)  Keyword: Agroindustry, Relational Capital, Shallot, Supply Chain Integration, Supply Chain Responsiveness

Abstract

Purpose — This research aims to evaluate the function of the warehouse in increasing the supply chain of shallot production in East Java Design/methodology/approach - This research uses explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The object of this research was in four districts of East Java at Nganjuk, Kediri, Malang, and Probolinggo which are the centers of shallot production that have similar environmental conditions. The sampling method in this research used multistage proportional random sampling with 200 respondents as a sample of this research. Data analysis uses the path analysis method by software SEM PLS Software 3.0. Findings - The results show that the warehouse has a significant effect on the integrative supply chain variable, the warehouse has no significant effect on the performance Effort variable and the integrative supply chain has a significant effect on the performance efforts variable.Practical Implications - Supply Chain Improvement is greatly influenced by the warehouse but not by performance Efforts.Originality/value - The key aspect of this research is increasing the effectiveness of warehouse operations in the logistics system and integrated supply chain activities as well as improving the performance of businesses focused on horticulture by approaching farmers and partners (traders). This study expands the literature on the function of warehouse utilization in Supply Chain activities so that it has an impact on improving business performance.Keywords: Warehouse, Supply Chain Integration, Performance Efforts

Abstract

The ability to manage finances is able to have an affect the financial condition of individuals and business organizations in the future. The study aims to determine the impact of financial knowledge on financial behavior and the role of financial attitude on financial behavior and also its role as a mediator between the relationship of financial knowledge and financial behavior. This study was conducted by collecting and analyzing journals related to the research objectives. Based on the literature study conducted, financial knowledge has an effect on financial attitude and financial behavior. Financial attitude has a positive impact on financial behavior and positively moderates the relationship between financial knowledge and financial behavior.

Abstract

The ability to manage finances potentially affect a person's financial condition and psychological condition in the future. This study aims to determine the impact of self-efficacy and self-control on financial management behavior and its impact on compulsive buying behavior. The study was conducted by collecting and analyzing related journals for the research objectives. Based on literature studies conducted, self-efficacy and self-control affect financial management behavior and compulsive buying. The studies also show that self-efficacy influences self-control, increasing the level of self-efficacy in a person can prevent her/him in compulsive actions such as compulsive buying.

Abstract

This study aims to examine previous research to determine the role of competitive advantage as a variable mediating the effect of corporate governance and intellectual capital on firm value. This study applies theories namely agency theory, bargaining power theory, tokenism theory, market orientation theory, managerial rents theory, and dynamic capabilities theory to explain the relationships between variables. As a literature review, this article contributes to developing a conceptual framework by combining two different perspectives of governance and intellectual capital management, namely shareholder and stakeholder perspectives. This paper has important implications for management and future research as not many previous studies have used the theoretical framework to test the research model. This study has limitations in obtaining research that examines the influence of competitive advantage on firm value. Nevertheless, this study carries a new framework that illustrates the contribution of competitive advantage to firm value through the application of the principles of corporate governance and management of intellectual capital.

Abstract

This study attempts to examine the influence of corporate social responsibility and good corporate governance on company’s financial performance. The type of this research is explanatory research with quantitative approach. Independent variables in this study are Economic Aspects (X1), Environmental Aspects (X2), Social Aspects (X3), Independent Commissioner (X4), Audit Committee (X5), and Board of Directors (X6). Dependent variables in this study are Return on Assets (Y1) and Stock Price (Y2). The research’s object is all of state-owned enterprises (SOE) Listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange Period 2013-2016, there are 20 companies. The sample of this this research are 8 companies that were taken using purposive sampling method. The result of this study based on F test shows that Economic Aspects, Environmental Aspects, Social Aspects, Independent Commissioner, Audit Committee, and Board of Directors are significance to Return on Assets (ROA) and Stock Price. АBSTRАK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh corporate social responsibility dan good corporate governance terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah explanatory research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah Aspek Ekonomi (X1), Aspek Lingkungan (X2), Aspek Sosial (X3), Dewan Komisaris Independen (X4), Komite Audit (X5), dan Dewan Direksi (X6). Variabel dependen dalam penelitian ini adalah Return on Assets (Y1) dan Harga Saham (Y2). Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) tahun 2013-2016 sebanyak 20 perusahaan. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 8 perusahaan yang diambil menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini adalah berdasarkan uji F menunjukkan bahwa variabel Aspek Ekonomi, Aspek Lingkungan, Aspek Sosial, Dewan Komisaris Independen, Komite Audit, dan Dewan Direksi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Return on Assets (ROA) dan Harga Saham. Kata kunci : Corporate Social Responsibility, Good Corporate Governance, Dewan Komisaris Independen, Komite Audit, Dewan Direksi, Return on Assets, Harga Saham.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the differences between a company's financial performance before and after the initial public offering on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in terms of the current ratio, debt ratio, debt to equity ratio, return on investment, return on equity, and total asset turn over. Sampling research using a purposive sampling method for companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015. Sampling companies in accordance with specified criteria are 10 companies. Analysis of the data used in this study is a descriptive statistical analysis of the sample company's financial data, namely the financial ratios of the two years before and two years after the Initial Public Offering, and inferential statistical analysis consisting of normality tests and hypothesis testing. Hypothesis tests used in this study are paired t-test and Wilcoxon signed rank test. The results showed that there were significant differences in the company's financial performance before and after the IPO as measured using the current ratio(CR), debt ratio(DR), debt to equity ratio(DER), and return on equity(ROE). There is no significant difference in the company's financial performance before and after the IPO which is measured using the ratio of financial return on investment(ROI) and total assets turn over(TATO). АBSTRАK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan perbedaan kinerja keuangan perusahaan sebelum dan sesudah initial public offering di Bursa Efek Indonesia dilihat dari current ratio, debt ratio, debt to equity ratio, return on investment, return on equity, dan total asset turn over. Pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan metode purposive sampling terhadap perusahaan yang listing di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2015. Perusahaan sampel yang sesuai dengan kriteria yang ditentukan sebanyak 10 perusahaan. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis statistik deskriptif terhadap data keuangan perusahaan sampel yaitu rasio keuangan periode dua tahun sebelum dan dua tahun sesudah Initial Public Offering, serta analisis statistik inferensial yang terdiri dari uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah paired t-test dan wilcoxon signed rank test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kinerja keuangan perusahaan sebelum dan sesudah IPO yang diukur dengan menggunakan current ratio (CR), debt ratio (DR), debt to equity ratio (DER), dan return on equity (ROE). Tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada kinerja keuangan perusahaan sebelum dan sesudah IPO yang diukur menggunakan rasio keuangan return on investment (ROI) dan total assets turn over (TATO).   Kata kunci: Initial Public Offering, IPO, Rasio Keuangan, Kinerja Keuangan, BEI.

Abstract

Industri Keripik dan Tempe Sanan sudah berdiri sejak lama yaitu sejak tahun 1960-an. Keberadaan Kampung Keripik dan Tempe Sanan sebagai pusat oleh-oleh khas Kota Malang, sudah banyak diketahui oleh warga Malang Raya. Namun saat ini banyak sekali kompetitor baru sebagai tujuan wisata oleh-oleh khas Kota Malang bermunculan yang bisa menjadi ancaman bagi keberadaan Kampung Keripik dan Tempe Sanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji sikap, norma subjektif dan persepsi kontrol perilaku terhadap minat perilaku wisatawan berkunjung ke Kampung Keripik dan Tempe Sanan dengan pendekatan model Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) oleh Ajzen (2005). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dalam pengambilan data. Tipe penelitian menggunakan explanatory research. Sampel penelitian ini adalah wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Kota Malang (Indonesia) yang pernah mengunjungi Kampung Keripik dan Tempe Sanan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi paguyuban Kampung Keripik dan Tempe Sanan untuk lebih kreatif dan inovatif dalam mengembangkan kawasan tujuan wisata oleh-oleh khas kota Malang. Selanjutnya dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pemerintah daerah dalam meningkatkan Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) dengan menjadikan Kampung Keripik dan Tempe Sanan sebagai destinasi wisata oleh-oleh utama di Kota Malang

Abstract

It is essential to know the financial satisfaction of the millennials because they are prone to experiencing financial problems due to their characteristics and the complexity of Digital Financial Services (DFS). Millennials are responsible for their financial decisions to increase financial satisfaction, so the meaning of financial attitudes, and financial knowledge, coupled with digital financial knowledge, is significant for financial decisions and behavior. This study examines the factors that predict financial satisfaction and examine the mediated effect of financial behavior on the relationship between financial knowledge, digital financial knowledge, financial attitude, and financial satisfaction. A sample of 306 millennials on Surabaya was selected. A quantitative analysis technique using PLS was applied. The final model showed financial knowledge, digital financial knowledge, and financial attitudes positively influence financial behavior. Financial behavior significantly moderates the relationship between financial knowledge, digital financial knowledge, financial attitude, and financial satisfaction.

Abstract

Melihat struktur konfigurasi ekonomi Indonesia secara keseluruhan, dari 39,72 juta unit usaha yang ada, sebesar 39,71 juta (99,97%) merupakan usaha ekonomi rakyat atau sering disebut usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah (UMKM). Menyadari realitas ini, pengembangan ekonomi rakyat memfokuskan terutama pada usaha mikro adalah hal yang sangat strategis untuk mewujudkan broad based development atau development through equity. Pemberdayaan UMKM ini bisa dilakukan dengan mengurai permasalahan yang sering dihadapi oleh UMKM. Sulitnya akses permodalan masih mendominasi alasan mengapa UMKM tidak bisa berkembang dengan pesat. Masalah ini bisa teratasi dengan tumbuhnya Lembaga Keuangan Mikro (LKM) yang memberikan alternatif bagi alasan “bankable” yang disodorkan oleh lembaga keuangan pada umumnya. Bank Perkreditan rakyat (BPR) merupakan kombinasi antara lembaga yang  secara hukum merupakan lembaga bank, namun dikhususkan untuk pelayanan bagi usaha mikro. Kinerja BPR yang terus mengalami perbaikan, baik kinerja lembaga (jumlah BPR) maupun kinerja keuangan (LDR, ROA, ROE, NPL) memberikan gambaran bahwa Lembaga Keuangan Mikro masih mampu memberikan yang terbaik baik UMKM
