Abstract

The grocery industry at present experiencing a pretty tight competition, so it requires that producers are able to maintain and improve the quality of products produced in order to compete with its competitors in the market. One way to improve the quality of the resulting bread is to regulate the composition of the raw material for making the bread by means of a method of designing an experiment by taking into account the factors that influence or commonly called the Taguchi method.This research aims to find a combination of raw materials each level factors that produce the optimum quality characteristics by using the Taguchi method. The results of this research showed that the combination of factor levels wich produce the optimum quality characteristics of bread are a factor A (flour) at a level of 200 grams, the factor C (butter) at level 2 as much as 10 grams, and factor D (egg) at level 1 as 90 grams. Percent greatest contribution to the quality of bread as compared with other factors, namely 33.12%, 30.62% and 30.61%.Key words: Taguchi, Orthogonal Array.

Abstract

There are intrinsic and extrinsic factors influencing work performance. Nursing document is an authentic document, eligible for evaluation and serves as a legal aspect to assess nursing quality provided by hospitals to their patients. The purpose this research is to analyze the influence of intrinsic motivation factors (the work itself, opportunity to progress, appreciation of others, and responsibility) on nursing documentation. This study used cross sectional survey. The sample consists of 125 nurses selected by simple random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaire. Multiple regression method was used to analyze the data. The result of research shows that none of the intrinsic motivation factors significantly influences the dependent variable. The coefficient of determination is very high, 0.917 meaning that the model predict 91.7 percent of the cases correctly Intrinsic motivation factors not significantly influence nursing documentation at RSUD Purbalingga. Those factors, therefore, should be closely taken care in order to improve nursing documentation.   Keywords: intrinsic motivation, nursing documentation

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is menstrual pain before, during, and after menstruation. This pain happens along with nausea, headaches, feeling faint, and irritability it’s make women can’t work. Pain is a subjective feeling. People use various defense mechanisms and human adaptability varies. The purpose this research is to determine the coping mechanism student nursing in solving dysmenorrhea at program nursing of FKIK UNSOED Purwokerto. The research used descriptive qualitative with phenomenology approach. Purposive sampling methode was used to choose the participants and the data was analysed by interactive analysis model of Milles and Huberman. This research gave twelve themes which describe coping mechanism students nursing about the knowledge of dysmenorrhea sense, the knowledge about cause of dysmenorrehea, assumptions about dysmenorrhea, changes physical in the perceived, changes psychological in the perceived, changes activities in the perceived, knowledge of coping mechanisms for understanding, attitude in solving dysmenorrheal, behavior in solving dysmenorrheal, the factors of physical that affect the coping mechanism, the factors of psychological that affect the coping mechanism, and the factors of social support that affect the coping. Keywords : Coping mechanisms and dysmenorrhea

Abstract

The incidence of asphyxia in newborns can be caused by various factors including the factors that are not normal delivery or induction pesalinan. Induction of labor is only done if the mothers have obstetric problems or if the mother and baby have a medical problem. to accurately determine the maturity of the fetus, prior to induction, an amniocentesis can be done. The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between the induction of labor with the incidence of asphyxia neonatorum in RSUD Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. This type of descriptive analytic study with case-control approach. The study population was infants born at the Hospital Margono Soekarjo Navan in January-June 2011, 173 babies are born asphyxiated and recorded in medical records. The number of samples used in this study is 43 samples and carried out 43 studies to determine the control group, so a total of 86 samples. Univariate analysis using frequency distribution and bivariate analsisis using Chi Square statistical test. Age mother mostly between the ages of 20-35 years both in the case group (88.4%) and controls (76.7%). Parity most of primiparous mothers in both groups of cases (52.2%) and in the control group (62.8%). Induction of labor with the majority of infants with birth asphyxia (% 62.8). Mothers who do not induce labor maternity largely normal delivery (62.8%). There is a relationship between the induction of labor with the incidence of neonatal asphyxia (p = 0.031). OR = 2.848 means that the value of labor induction at risk of having a baby with asphyxia 2.848 times greater than that without the induction of labor. Induction of labor significantly associated with incidence of asphyxia neonatorum. Keywords: Induction, labor, asphyxia

Abstract

Gingivitis is a mild inflammation of gum tissue caused by the accumulation of plaque. Gingivitis can occur at any age, but is prone to pregnantwomen. During pregnancy periode, esrogen and progesterone will increase, it will cause permeability of blood vessel and high risk of minor infection. The aim of this study to analyze factors associated with the occurrence of gingivitis in pregnant women at Puskesmas Talang Tegal. This type of research is analytic correlation with cross sectional approach. The sample in this study was 60 respondents with accidental sampling technique, and test using logistic regression analysis. The test result showed that there was a significant correlation between the factors plaque (p = 0.00), dental caries (p = 0.03), and gestational age (p = 0.00), on the incidence of gingivitis in pregnant women at Puskesmas Talang Tegal, while the factors that were not associated with the occurrence of gingivitis in pregnant women was factor irreguler arrangement of teeth (p = 0.73), and oral hygiene (p = 0.64), the most dominant factor was the plaque (p = 0.00 and wald = 12.00). Factors associated with the occurrence of gingivitis in pregnant women in the Puskesmas Talang Tegal are plaque, dental caries, and gestational age, with a more dominant factor that is plaque with OR = 24.24 which means that pregnant women with a plaque on the teeth will exposed 24 times to the risk of gingivitis compared with pregnant women without plaque on her teeth. Abstract

Menopause is known as the cessation of menstrual periods due to the degeneration function of ovaries to produce estrogen and progesterone hormones. The changing of both hormones will affect the physical and psychological change which will increase women’s anxiety. Employed women doesn’t easily experience anxiety since they have things to do that can distract the complaints felt during pre-menopause. Thus, the anxiety level of employed women is relatively lower than that of unemployed women. This is a quantitative descriptive research with comparative method which is aimed at determining whether or not there are differences in anxiety level of employed women and unemployed women facing menopause. The researcher used cluster sampling to take the samples. The samples of the research were 60 respondents. Analysis of data in this research used the Mann Whitney (U) test. The result shows the difference between anxiety facing menopause in employed women with anxiety facing menopause in unemployed women i.e p value = 0.000 < α = 0.05. The writer expects that this research can give implications in the area of public health and that women who do not work can better prepare themselves to face menopause.   Keywords : anxiety level, employed women and unemployed women, menopause
