Abstract

Abstract: This study was aimed to develop Biology teaching kits using Self Regulated Learning (SRL)-based strategy in senior high schools that have been validated and tested. The study was carried out by using the development strategy of Borg and Gall. The subjects were the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Sentolo in the academic year of 2014/2015. The data for the validation process and the implementation of the teaching kits were collected through questionnaires and observations. The data of the validator assessment were analyzed using the categorization formula and Borich formula. The data on the try-out were analyzed using the paired sample test. The findings were in the form of teaching kits product for Bryophyta materials for the tenth grade students. The teaching kits had been validated theoretically by experts and teachers, the lesson plans had been validated and simulated, and the teaching kits and research instruments had been tried out in a small scale and implemented in the field. Keywords: teaching kits, Self Regulated Learning (SRL) strategies PENGEMBANGAN DAN IMPLEMENTASI PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI DENGAN STRATEGI SELF REGULATED LEARNING (SRL) Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini adalah dihasilkannya perangkat pembelajaran biologi berbasis Self Regulated Learningdi SMA yang telah tervalidasi dan teruji. Metode penelitian menggunakan strategi pengembangan Borg dan Gall. Subjek penelitian perangkat pembelajaran adalah siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Sentolo. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam proses validasi dan implementasi perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan angket dan observasi. Data penilaian validator dianalisis dengan rumus kategorisasi, sedang persamaan validator terhadap lembar validasi menggunakan rumus Borich. Data hasil uji coba dianalisis dengan paired sample test. Hasil penelitian berupa produk perangkat pembelajaran pada materi tumbuhan lumut di kelas X SMA. Perangkat pembelajaran tersebut telah divalidasi secara teoretis yang dilakukan oleh ahli dan guru, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran tertentu telah diuji secara terbatas keterbacaan dan disimulasikan, perangkat pembelajaran dan instrumen penelitian telah diuji coba terbatas dan lebih luas. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) perbedaan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa setelah menggunakan sumber belajar yang berupa limbah tapioka pada materi Archaebacteria dan Eubacteria; dan (2) pengaruh sumber belajar yang berupa limbah tapioka terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X MAN 2 Pati. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain randomized control group, pretest-post test. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa MAN 2 Pati kelas X, sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah kelas X-2 sebagai kelompok kontrol dan kelas X-3 sebagai kelompok eksperimen. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik tes dan nontes. Analisis yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan motivasi belajar siswa ditunjukkan dengan hasil uji paired sample t test nilai sig.(2-tailed)α. Tidak ada perbedaan hasil belajar ditunjukkan dengan hasil uji paired sample t-test nilai sig.(2-tailed)α. Motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan sumber belajar limbah tapioka lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang menggunakan sumber belajar konvensional. Kata Kunci: limbah tapioka, sumber belajar, motivasi, prestasi belajar THE INFLUENCE OF USING TAPIOKA WASTE AS A SOURCE OF LEARNING BIOLOGY ON STUDENTS’ MOTIVATION AND ACHIEVEMENT Abstract: This aim of this research is to know (1) the differences of students’ motivation and achievement after using tapioca waste as learning resource in tenth grade, MAN 2 Pati in Archaebacteria and Eubacteria materials: (2) the effects of using tapioka waste as learning resources on students’ motivation and achievement in tenth grade, MAN 2 Pati. This research is quasi-experimental design with randomized control group, pre-post test. The study population was all students of Class X MAN 2 Pati, while the research sample is Class X-2 as the control group and Class X-3 as the experimental group. Data collection techniques were test and non-test techniques. The analyses used the t-test to determine differences in motivation and achievement. The results show that there is difference in learning motivation after using tapioca waste as a source of learning, indicated by the result of paired samples t-test, value of sig.(2-tailed)α. There is no difference in learning achievement after using tapioca waste as a source of learning, which is indicated by paired sample t-test, the value of sig.(2-tailed)α. Learning motivation and achievement of students who use tapioca waste as learning resources is higher than that of students who use the conventional learning resources.
