Abstract

Industry plays an important role in the life of humanity. In the economic perspective, it is very important for states in providing numerous job vacancies for millions people worldwide. Nevertheless, activities in industrial sectors have the potential of causing air pollution. Activities of  PG Semboro at a milling time have caused air condition around the factory dirty and polluted by dust from the factory smokestack. The objective of study is to describ the air quality, the comfort and health of communities living around Pabrik Gula Semboro Jember. It is a descriptive observational study conducted by using a cross sectional design. The sample is communities living at the around Pabrik Gula Semboro. Data collection is conducted by using questionnaire sheets. Result of the study indicates the ambient air quality which exceeds environmental quality standard are : dust (0,515 mg/m3) on the north side Pabrik Gula Semboro, noise (53,9-56,2 dBA) on area of Pabrik Gula Semboro, noise (50,5-61,2 dBA) on the north side Pabrik Gula Semboro. Respondents comfort disturbed by  odor (33%), dust (80%), noise (30%), smoke factory (26%). The community health indicates the Acute respiratory Tract Infection is the most incidence arround of Pabrik Gula Semboro. Keywords: Ambient Air quality, Comfort, Community health

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa tentang perkalian dan pembagian bilangan melalui penerapan model pendekatan pemecahan masalah. Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika materi perkalian dan pembagian bilangan siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Kukutio melalui penerapan pendekatan pemecahan masalah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 bertempat di Kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Kukutio. Jumlah siswa kelas IV sebanyak 25 orang, terdiri atas 13 orang siswa laki-laki dan 12 orang siswa perempuan. Jenis data yang diperoleh adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif yang terdiri dari lembar observasi guru dan siswa, serta tes formatif siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis penelitian dan pembahasan dapat dilihat dari hasil tes siklus I, hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal sebanyak 15 siswa memperoleh nilai ≥65 dengan persentase 60%. Dari hasil tes tindakan siklus II, setelah penggunaan model pemecahan masalah pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Kukutio diperoleh hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal terhadap pokok bahasan perkalian dan pembagian bilangan 23 siswa yang memperoleh nilai ≥65 dengan persentase 92% atau mengalami peningkatan sebesar 32% dari hasil tindakan pada siklus I. Disimpulkan melalui penerapan pendekatan pemecahan masalah, hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Kukutio dapat ditingkatkanKata kunci: Model pembelajaran, pendekatan pemecahan masalah, hasil belajar
