Abstract

Abstract The high saturation flow, long queues, and long delays at the signalized intersection are the factors causing traffic congestion at the intersection. This study discussed saturation flow analysis and long queues at the Angkatan 66 signalized intersection in Palembang City. The intersection legs at this intersection, namely Jln. Sukamto toward Jln. Basuki Rakhmat, Jln. Amphibi toward Jln. Angkatan 66, have high saturation flows and long queues, so that the intersection needs to be improved. There are 3 improvement alternatives, including the change in cycle time period, the change in intersection geometric, and the construction of flyover. Of the three alternatives, only the construction of fly over construction can reduce significantly the queue lengths. Keywords: signalized intersection, delay, queue, saturated flow, fly over  Abstrak Tingginya nilai arus jenuh, panjang antrian, dan tundaan pada simpang  bersinyal merupakan faktor penyebab kemacetan lalulintas di simpang. Pada penelitian ini dibahas analisis arus jenuh dan panjang antrian pada Simpang Bersinyal Angkatan 66 di Kota Palembang. Lengan simpang di simpang bersinyal ini, yaitu lengan Jln. Sukamto arah ke Jln. Basuki Rahmat dan lengan Jln. Amphibi arah ke Jln. Angkatan 66, memiliki arus jenuh dan panjang antrian yang tinggi, sehingga diperlukan perbaikan simpang. Abstract

The economic growth and rapid population in Palembang City and the surrounding regions lead to the increased mobility of people and goods. Palembang City which is divided into two upstream and downstream areas by Musi River  and they are currently connected only by one bridge namely Ampera Bridge. This results in traffic concentration on the main city streets and congestion takes place almost throughout the day and  evenly throughout the City area.This study analyzes and discusses the condition of network services in Palembang City with or without the development of road network in the City, in which the Spatial Planning and Area of Palembang City up to 2037 plans to construct six bridges and the city ring road. This study only discusses the conditions of service of the road network in the next five years, that is up to 2019.The road network condition in Palembang City was simulated using a Palembang City transportation model developed with JICA STRADA program (System for Traffic Demand Analysis), where the ratio between traffic volume survey results with the results of the modeling for the year 2014 has a determination coefficient (R2) of 0.839. The results indicate that the development of Musi Bridge IV in 2017 and the Musi Bridge VI in 2019 is a solution to deploy traffic movement and reduce congestion significantly in Palembang City. If the construction of the two bridges is delayed, Palembang will then suffer from severe traffic congestion in both 2017 and 2019.

Abstract

The increasing population of the city of Palembang per year reaching 1.95 % thus making the high value of saturation flow , queue length , and delay at intersection is a factor causing traffic jam and needed to solve. This study discussed about saturated flow analysis and long queue at intersections for existing and next 5 years. The analysis results showed Angkatan 66 intersection having level of service in the range F. Scenarios are making for increase the level of service in the intersection, first scenario; resetting traffic light time in intersection, second scenario; change the width of roads geometric, third scenario; fly over planning. From the scenarios, showed that the third one gave the best solution to reduce saturation flow, queue length and delay in Angkatan 66 intersection.

Abstract

The existence of Jl. Kol. Burlian - Jl. Tanjung Api Api junction becomes very strategic because it becomes the entrance and exit of Palembang city. The intersection is access to several places such as Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport, Tanjung Api-Api Port, and the border road to Banyuasin. The position of Jl. Kol. Burlian - Jl. Tanjung Api Api junction which is very strategic cause the long queue of vehicles causing traffic jam. To overcome this the South Sumatra Provincial Government will build a fly over at Jl. Kol. Burlian - Jl. Tanjung Api Api junction. Basically the construction of this fly over as an effort to reduce the volume density of vehicles that accumulate at Jl. Kol. Burlian - Jl. Tanjung Api Api junction. The result of calculation using MKJI method calculation, the delay value before the existing fly over or signal condition is 46 seconds / smp, while the length of delay after the fly over dropped dramatically to 16 seconds / smp. Likewise with the calculation using the VISSIMprogram, the results obtained are not much different from the MKJI method, which is 45.23 seconds / smp for the condition before the fly over, and 15.18 seconds / smp for the condition after the fly over. Thus, the development of an efficient fly over in reducing the length of vehicle delays at Jl. Kol. Burlian - Jl. Tanjung Api Api junction, so it is expected to overcome the congestion that always occurs at the intersection.

Abstract

Mohammad Hoesin general hospital (RSMH) is a public hospital owned by the Government of Palembang located at Jl. Sudirman . It is located in a densely populated area with total built area of ± 20 ha. The absence of adequate infiltration area plus improper drainage condition and capacity caused floods as high as ± 30 cm in the parking lot which is at the lowest elevation. In order to overcome these problems, RSMH took the initiative to build a retention pond. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of retention pond development plan along with its drainage network through the duflow modeling studio (DMS) approach and spatial analysis of Geographic Information System (GIS). Total catchment for the study area covers the area of ± 46 Ha with the maximum runoff discharge obtained from the modeling results Q = 0,2 m3/s while the waste water effluent that is discharged into the drainage channel Q = 0,0021 m3/s is not too significant therefore can be ignored. Capacity of retention pond with minimum area of 0,7 Ha is sufficient to serve the catchment area, but it should be considered the use of pumps with a capacity of at least 150 lt/s to overcome high elevation difference.

Abstract

Jalan dan jembatan merupakan bagian dari transportasi darat yang berfungsi sebagai alat untuk membuat kendaraan dapat berpindah dari satu tempat menuju tempat yang lain. Fungsi suatu jalan dan jembatan dapat dilihat dari kinerja jalan dan jembatan tersebut. Sehingga dari kinerja jalan dan jembatan dapat dijadikan ukuran suatu transportasi kota. Dalam pengukuran kinerja dapat diketahui tingkat pelayanan yang berhasil dilakukan oleh prasarana transportasi dalam hal ini jalan dan jembatan.Volumeper kapasitas sebelum duplikasi adalah 0,9 sehingga diketahui klasifikasi tingkat pelayanan berada pada kondisi pelayanan kurang baik, dimana kendaraan berjalan dengan banyak hambatan dan tingkat pelayanan D. Volume per kapasitas setelah duplikasi yaitu dengan nilai V/C sebesar 0,7 untuk kedua ruas, maka dapat diketahui klasifikasi tingkat pelayanan pada ruas jalan tersebut, sesuai dengan MKJI diketahui bahwa ruas jalan tersebut masuk ke dalam kondisi pelayanan baik, dimana kendaraan berjalan lancar dengan sedikit hambatan atau kategori B.Peningkatanpelayanan setelah duplikasi jembatan Musi II beroperasi yaitu dari tingkat pelayanan D ke tingkat pelayanan B.

Abstract

This study evaluates passenger satisfaction from the perspective of service quality. The sample was collected by sending questionnaires from two perspectives; ferry passengers and ferry company employees at Merak-Bakauheni port in Indonesia. The PZB model is used for gap analysis and SERVQUAL dimension to assess and evaluate the service quality. The results show gaps between passenger satisfaction and ferry service quality at the Merak port - Bakauheni port. Data analysis using t-pairwise statistical method. The analysis found that gap 1; gap in perspective between the passenger expectations service and the ferry companies perceptions of their passengers expectation is very large, with the largest attributes from tangibles dimension. The largest gap of attributes from that dimension is “convenience store at the terminal.” In gap 5, the perceptions of passengers' expected and their perceived of service showed that the attribute of “Ferry service provides online services to facilitate customers” as the largest gap. Thus, from this study, ferry services need to make reformation, especially in the attribute that has a large gap. Moreover, this study provides an overview to ferry service in Indonesia to enhance their service quality.
