Abstract

Concrete is a building construction material that has an important role. Concrete itself tends to have strong properties in resisting compressive forces, but weak in resisting tensile or flexural forces. The use of additives in concrete is an option to improve the basic properties of concrete. Latex or rubber latex is one of the natural materials that can be used in concrete mixtures. Its adhesive properties can be utilized in improving the quality of concrete. This study aims to determine the compressive strength and flexural strength of concrete with the addition of latex. The research was conducted experimentally by making concrete specimens in the laboratory. The addition of latex by 10% and 30% with a planned concrete quality of fc' 29.5 MPa. The test object used is a cylinder measuring 15x30 cm and a beam measuring 15x15x30 cm. The tests carried out were testing the compressive strength and flexural strength at the age of 28 days. The results showed that the highest compressive strength was at the addition of 10% latex with a value of 9.96 MPa. While the highest flexural strength value obtained was 3.20 Mpa at the addition of 10% Latex or. From these results it can be seen that the addition of latex has not been able to improve the quality of concrete and has not been able to increase the compressive strength or flexural strength of concrete. So that these results can be used as research development or concrete production.

Abstract

Project scheduling is one of the important factors for successful project implementation that can be achieved in accordance with the initial planning. Problems that can hinder project management are limited resources, inaccurate reports and costly and costly.  The delay in the completion of the project itself is a very undesirable condition, because it can harm both parties both in terms of time or cost.  The purpose of this study is to determine the probability of accelerating the implementation time from the period obtained by taking into account the critical path and calculation of cost crashing in the Aisyiyah Ponorogo Hospital construction project.   The research method used in this study was to analyze the time schedule in the RAB by comparing the project schedule using the PERT (Program Evaluation and Review Technique) method. The data used is the duration of the project time to obtain critical trajectory results, standards and variances. The results of the scheduling analysis with the PERT method obtained a critical path with B-C-D-E-L-M with an acceleration of the implementation time of project activities for 49 weeks on the critical path and a non-critical path for 79 weeks from the planned time.  buildings can speed up implementation time by a possible percentage of 92,073% with efficient calculation of crashing costs with the addition of working hours/overtime at a duration of 49 weeks rather than having to increase labor to achieve this probability.

Abstract

Concrete is a building material that plays an important role in the construction of buildings and bridges. Adding materials to concrete in the current era is increasingly becoming developed because it is able to change the properties of concrete mixtures according to needs. Additive Grolen DP is an added material that can accelerate the hardening of concrete and reduce water consumption. The purpose of this study was to determine the compressive strength and slump value with the addition of additive Grolen DP 0%, 3%, and 7% for variation of age 3, 7, and 28 days. The method used is an experimental method by making test objects that refer to SNI. The specimens used are cylindrical dimensions 15x30 cm with an initial quality plan Fc'= 22.06 Mpa. The results showed that the highest average compressive strength was the addition of additive Grolen DP 7% or BT 3 with a variation of 28 days of age with a value of Fc’= 38.02 MPa. The slump value generated by BT= 11.2 cm. BT 2= 12.3 cm, and BT 3= 12.9 cm. From these results, it can be seen that the addition of variations additive Grolen DP  affects the quality of concrete.

Abstract

Lack of project scheduling planning and ineffective control make the activity of a project less efficient. This will have an impact on the success of the project. This situation will result in delays and a decrease in the quality of work due to time constraints. Scheduling is important for determining the required activities and arranging a sequence and time frame to complete project activities on time. This study aims to optimize the scheduling of a moderate light rehabilitation project in the Badas Community Health Center building, Kediri Regency, where project start-ups are experiencing delays. The method used is Critical Path Method-Project Evaluation and Review Technique (CPM-PERT), which is a method to determine the duration of a project that can be completed and the percentage of its success. The analysis carried out includes calculation the duration desired acceleration and cost slope. Analysis results using CPM-PERT obtained critical path in: preparation activities (A), earthworks (B), structural work (D), 1st floor work (E), 2nd floor work (F), 3rd floor work (G), roof, ceiling and plank work (H), iron work (I), electrical work (L), floor and wall covering work (M) and finishing work (N). The normal duration of project completion is 140 days and costs Rp. 1,818,182,709, whereas with the CPM-PERT method the duration can be accelerated to 128 days (probability 99.99%) and required additional fee 8.1% or worth Rp. 146,719,664. Implementers can use it in optimizing scheduling and financing on the badas public health center building construction project.

Abstract

In a construction project, there are several aspects that cause the project not to go according to plan. Cost and time are aspects that need to be considered to avoid losses incurred in a project. Jombang-ploso-legundi-gresik road project is one of the road widening projects carried out by PT. Mix Pro Indonesia. The project was carried out with the aim that access to (Surabaya-Mojokerto) or further trans Java toll road is quicker safe and smoother. This research aims to optimize the cost and time on the project using the Earned Value method. Calculations include the calculation of ACWP (Actual Cost of Work Performance), BCWS (Budgeted Cost Work Schedule), and BCWP (Budgeted Cost for Work Performed) using the Earned Value method. From these parameters, estimate aspects of cost and time. As well as project analysis of acceleration on a critical trajectory of work. The results of calculations in the 12th week obtained a BCWS value of Rp 1,216,677,846,400 BCWP = Rp 3,040,372,140,080, ACWP = Rp 3,678,560,000. CV value = -Rp 109,203,495.92, SV = Rp 895,646,816.82, CPI = 0.827, and for SPI = 2,499. From these results it can be seen that the CPI value < 1 which means that there are project expenditures that exceed the original plan. With the results, it can be used as a reference in the implementation of project activities.

Abstract

Construction project management is one of the things that affect the smooth work of construction projects. Time and cost become benchmarks in the success of a project. In the construction project Bhayangkara Nganjuk hospital indicated experiencing delays caused by unse endorsive weather conditions. The delay will have an impact on the costs that will be incurred. The purpose of this research is to accelerate the time on the project by using the time cost trade off method. Development work includes IGD room work, Pharmaceutical Installation, Laboratory and Inpatiation Room. The data used in the form of Time schedule and budget plan costs obtained from the implementing contractor. From the data, analysis is carried out in the form of determination of relationships between jobs, determination of critical pathways, and acceleration analysis by applying a work shift system. The relationship between jobs is illustrated through the Microsoft Project. The results of the study obtained a total cost after acceleration of Rp. 3,873,505,632.00 the value was more expensive 11.25% than the normal cost of the project of Rp 3,481,698,000.00. With an accelerated duration of 125 days or 25.71% faster than the normal duration of the project of 180 days. So that from these results, it can be used as a reference in the implementation of the project regarding work hours that can be applied as well as the cost of the project and the duration of acceleration required.

Abstract

The science of concrete in the present era has developed. Research on efforts to improve the properties and performance of concrete has been carried out a lot. One of them is modifying a concrete mixture with fly ash as a substitute for some cement and coconut shell charcoal as a substitute for some sand. The chemical properties contained in fly ash are 80% in the form of silica and alumina. The purpose of this study was to determine the slump value and the compressive strength value of the test object added with fly ash with variations of 3%, 6%, 9% of the weight of cement, and 3% baroque coconut charcoal by weight of sand. This research method is experimental, which refers to the Indonesian National Standard with a test object cylinder size 15x30 cm totaling 12 samples tested at the age of 28 days with a quality plan fc'16.60 Mpa. The results showed that the highest slump value was obtained in the test object variation 3, namely 7 cm, while the average compressive strength of each variation has exceeded the quality of the plan with the highest value obtained in variation 2 with a compressive strength value of Fc'24.9 Mpa.

Abstract

Construction management is very necessary in project management. To increase the efficiency and effectiveness of construction development activities, a unit price calculation tool is needed, namely construction cost analysis. Contractors generally make bid prices based on analysis that is not entirely guided by BOW (Burgerlijke Openbare Werken) analysis or SNI (Standart National Indonesia) analysis. Contractors tend to calculate the unit price of work using their own analysis which is based on previous experience in completing a construction work. The purpose of this study was to analyze the unit price of work on the building using the SNI, BOW and Field methods. The work components analyzed in this study are the unit price of materials and wages for partner work and foundation work. In each calculation method used, the most economical cost budget plan is obtained, namely using the field method calculation with the unit price value for the work of a partner, it costs Rp. 509.9996.78 while for foundation work it costs Rp. 722,965.1. By using the field method, a unit price is more economical when compared to BOW and SNI methods. So that these results can be used as a reference in planning the budget for a construction project.

Abstract

The design mix pavement road needs to be planned appropriately to get the relevant results in its implementation. The selection of materials that easily absorb water becomes one option to parse the occurrence of puddles. Ampas coffee becomes one of the ingredients that can be weighed considering its easy-to-absorb water properties. This study aims to determine the effect of coffee grounds as a mixture of asphalt porous to the characteristics of asphalt porous.  The method used is the method of experimental with the manufacture of samples in the laboratory. Variation of asphalt content by  5%, 5.5%, 6%, 6.5%, and 7%. The weight of coffee grounds as filler by 6%. The sample is cylindrical, 4 inches (10.16 cm) in diameter, and 3 inches (7.5 cm) tall. The results of the study obtained optimum asphalt content obtained at a percentage of  7%. With  VMA value  (Void InMineral Aggregate) 16.13%, VIM (void InMix) 4.58%, VFB (Void Filled Bitumen) 71.62%, Stability 1011kg, Flow Value 3.65 mm, Marshall quotient (MQ) 277kg/mm. Thus, it can be concluded that the results of the study meet the specifications determined by BINA MARGA, with asphalt results more stable, more durable, stronger.
