Abstract

This article aims to discuss the dynamics of relations between ethnic nationalism, civic nationalism and state nationalism in the Land of Papua. The growth and development of Papuan ethnic nationalism since the integration of Papua into reform was caused by Indonesian state policies. Historical method is used in this research. The research approach is a qualitative approach to phenomenological research design. Strengthening Papuan ethnic nationalism due to the Central Government's (Jakarta) policies that were not fully accepted by indigenous Papuans. The Papuan people felt marginalized and discriminated against in the process of development in both the political, economic, social and cultural fields, especially during the New Order government. Papuan ethnic nationalism is characterized by demands for independence from the Indonesian state and instrumentalization of ethnicity for political purposes. Ethnic nationalism eventually shifts the civic and or state nationalism as part of the Indonesian state.

Abstract

Abstract This training aims to develop learning innovations for biography of national heroes for history teachers at the Jayapura City High School. The training partners are 16 young teachers whose tenure ranges from 1 to 6 years. The training methods include: lectures, questions and answers, discussions, making lesson plans and teaching practices. The results of the training show that teachers are able to develop historical learning innovations that integrate elements of higher order thinking skills, integration of technology and pedagogy in learning practices and four 21st Century skills: critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication. Abstrak Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan inovasi pembelajaran biografi Pahlawan Nasional Asal Papua bagi guru sejarah SMA Kota Jayapura. Mitra pelatihan adalah 16 guru muda yang masa kerja antara 1 sampai 6 tahun. Metode pelatihan berupa: ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi, pembuatan RPP dan praktik mengajar. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa guru mampu mengembangkan inovasi pembelajaran sejarah yang mengintegrasikan unsur keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi, integrasi teknologi dan pedagogi dalam praktik pembelajaran dan empat keterampilan Abad ke-21: berpikir kritis, kreativitas, bekerja sama dan berkomunikasi.

Abstract

Abstract This training aims to develop higher-order thinking skills for history teachers at the Jayapura City Senior High School. The trainees are 12 teachers with less than 10 years of service. The training methods include: lectures, questions and answers, discussions, making lesson plans and teaching practices. The results of the training show that teachers are able to develop higher order thinking skills in high school. Teacher skills includes: knowledge related to higher order thinking skills, readiness in preparing history learning tools based on higher order thinking skills, readiness in applying history learning based on higher order thinking skills, and readiness in evaluating the results of history learning based on higher order thinking skills in senior high schools. Abstrak Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi bagi guru sejarah SMA Kota Jayapura. Peserta pelatihan adalah 12 guru yang masa kerja kurang dari 10 tahun. Metode pelatihan berupa: ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi, pembuatan RPP dan praktik mengajar. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa guru mampu mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi di Sekolah Menengah Atas. Keterampilan guru meliputi: pengetahuan terkait keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi; kesiapan dalam menyiapkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi; kesiapan dalam menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi; dan kesiapan dalam mengevaluasi hasil pembelajaran berbasis keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi.
