Abstract

This study aims to determine the causes or factors that can trigger or lead to false alarms, ways to reduce them, determine the design of the alarm system that is applied, and determine the factors so that the fire system can operate optimally on board the ship. The type of research that the author presents is a descriptive type of research with a quantitative approach. Data retrieval was obtained from distributing questionnaires, interviews, and observations of locations and related crew at MV with the data obtained during the Sailing Practice. Ocean Makmur. Research location on the MV. Ocean Makmur. The results showed the cause of the false alarm on the MV. Ocean Makmur, it can be seen that the lack of input or voltage that is less than 20VDC, as well as the infrequent Routine Test (per-unit), and the lack of awareness of the crew itself is the cause of the false alarm. We should anticipate this with our care at work and awareness in our activities.

Abstract

Information systems are devices that are generally used in an organization or company in managing data or information. One of the advantages of this information system is in the search for data information needed by the industry. Logistics activities require an information system that can represent a real situation that contains all activities to expedite logistics activities as well as making logistics policies quickly and accurately. Therefore it is necessary to have an integrated data system to support all logistical activities. The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of management data systems in logistics management. The benefit is to make it easier to solve the problem of delays in sending information data. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. The results of this information search will eventually be stored and then used as a database in the industry so that when the industry requires data retrieval it can be easier to do it quickly and accurately.

Abstract

The significance of ports in global trade activities has a significant impact on a city, region, and even a nation. A port with adequate facilities and a superior system will make port activities more effective, neutral, and even simple for its users. Inaportnet is a facility that is currently used by major Indonesian ports, including the port of Tanjung Emas in Semarang. The users of this system include exporters, importers, shipping lines, and others, in addition to port players. PT Global Logistic Agency is one of the user companies that has been using the Inaportnet framework. This study was descriptive research using a structured interview method. This study aims to examine the use of Inaportnet from the side of the organizer represented by PT. Global Logistics Agency. The results showed that the use of Inaportnet played an important role in the implementation of ship berthing services in terms of time efficiency, energy, and demurrage, the Inaportnet system is still found down or system errors are due to maintenance from the management unit so that PT. Global Logistic Agency must carry out conventional or manual implementation.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan dari pembuatan makalah ini adalah untuk menganalisis kendala atau permasalahan pada Speaker System yang terpasang pada Kapal KCR 60M 5 Kapak. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Penelitian Eksperimenl, yaitu dengan cara Check Line secara langsung pada wiring dan kabel yang digunakan pada sistem menggunakan alat Multimeter. Hasil menunjukan bahwa adanya kerusakan pada salah satu kabel yang terpasang pada sisem menyebabkan suara yang dikeluarkan tidak terlalu bagus atau terdapat noise. Penggantian kabel dilakukan dan dilakukan Check Line untuk yang terakhir agar memastikan permasalahan sudah selesai.Kata Kunci: Speaker System, Multimeter, Kapal KCR 60M 5 Kapak AbstractThe purpose of making this paper is to analyze the constraints or problems in the Speaker System attached to the KCR 60M 5 Axe Ship. The method used is the Experimental Research method, which is by checking the line directly on the wiring and cables used in the system using a Multimeter tool. The results showed that there was damage to one of the cables attached to the system causing the sound emitted was not very good or there was noise. Cable replacement is carried out and a Check Line is carried out for the last one to ensure that the problem is resolved.Keywords: Speaker System, Multimeter, Ship KCR 60M 5 Axe

Abstract

Perdagangan Internasional yang berhubungan dalam pengiriman barang perlu adanya persamaan penerbitan dalam hal hak dan kewajiban antara pembeli dan penjual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui incoterm yang paling sering digunakan dalam kegiatan perdagangan internasional yaitu International Commercial Terms (Incoterms) 2020 yang dikeluarkan oleh International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), mengetahui faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi pengambilan keputusan International Commercial Terms (Incoterms) dari eksportir dalam kegiatan perdagangan Internasional, kriteria tersebut berdasarkan masalah yang sering terjadi yaitu biaya operasional tinggi, kerjasama dan daya tawar dalam mencapai kesepakatan, pemahaman incoterms 2020. Jenis penelitian yang dianggap relevan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan seperti: wawancara mendalam, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi, Subjek penelitian ini adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang ekspor coconut products seperti: Palm Kernel Expeller (PKE), cocopeat, coocfiber, copra, copex, Briket Arang, Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO), Crude Coconut Oil (CCO). Incoterms 2020 yang diambil dalam penelitian adalah: Ex Works (EXW), Free Carrier (FCA), Free Alongside Ship (FAS), Free on Board (FOB), Cost and Freight (CFR), Cost Insurance and Freight (CIF).

Abstract

As an archipelagic country, Indonesia has abundant natural resources and the potential to develop various industries. In this case, the Ministry of Industry still relies on Java as a location to encourage industrial activities in Indonesia. One of the largest industrial areas in Indonesia is located in the western area of Java Island, namely in the Pulogadung, Karawang, and Bekasi areas. Geographically, Indonesia, an archipelagic country, has good inter-island connectivity. The maritime transportation sector is a strategic component forming the national transportation system. Apart from that, the competitiveness of Indonesian commodities, goods, and services is developed due to national logistics prices, which are partly determined by transportation costs. The many commodities produced on Java Island have resulted in a high demand for goods from Java Island. The cost of shipping goods plays a significant role in the buyer's price. In this research, several options were analyzed for sending goods from Java to Sumatera, namely by using a truck and then crossing by ship from Merak Port to Bakauheni Port or sending by ship to Panjang Port, from Tanjung Priok Port or Ciwandan Port. This research was conducted to select a mode of transportation with a minimum unit cost to support delivery activities. Then, this research was carried out using an optimization method to make the shipping costs incurred more optimal. The results of this research will provide an analysis of the efficiency of intermodal transportation in transporting goods on the Java-Sumatera route.

Abstract

Shipping companies ship agencies play an important role in representing the interests of ship owners in ports. In activities, the role of digital technology is very important to streamline and accelerate the process of managing ship crews and prospective crew documents to ensure safety, legal compliance, and smooth ship operations as necessary requirements during sailing. This study aims to determine the influence of Digital Technology in the Management of Crewchange Documents at Pt. Equinox Bahari Utama. The type of research used in this study is quantitative. This research was carried out at Sanur Port for 1 year. Pt. Equinox Bahari Utama. The population used in this study is employees of the Crewing Golar division and Cool Company Management USA, the crew of the ship who will make a crewchange with a sample of 45 respondents. The data sources in this study used primary and secondary data with data collection techniques, namely: questionnaires, observations, literature studies. The data analysis technique is the Simple Linear Regression test. The results of this study show that digital technology has a positive and significant influence on the management of crewchange documents at PT Equinox Bahari Utama. The magnitude of the positive influence of Digital Technology on the management of crewchange documents at PT Equinox Bahari Utama is 87%.

Abstract

Ship stability problems are one of the causes of ship accidents such as ships that are difficult to control, unbalanced and sinking, either at sea during shipping or during loading and unloading. This is the background for the need to improve ship safety systems to reduce ship accidents. The purpose of this research is to accurately monitor the loading and unloading slope and determine the maximum distance that can be connected to LoRa. The working system of this tool is made with the intention of preventing ship accidents and creating a better sea transportation system. The work process of this tool is done by reading the tilt angle of the ship which will then be read through the LCD screen and the LED lights will light up and the buzzer will sound if it reaches a certain tilt angle. Making it easier for loading and unloading operators to manage their cargo so that the ship remains stable.The methodology and design of the applied scientific work tool system that will be carried out using experimental research methods. Experimental research methods are used to produce certain products, and test their effectiveness. The results of research on this applied scientific work are the accuracy of the gyroscope sensor GY-521 mpu-6050 which is 98.71% with an error of 1.29% and the distance of LoRa Ra-02 SX1278 that can be reached on a stable wireless system is as far as 370m in water and 205m on land. More than that the receiver cannot receive data anymore or is invalid.

Abstract

In the hold of the fishing boat, it is currently unable to control the pH of the water in accordance with the living environment of the fish. The pH of the water also needs to be considered so that the fish can survive. In addition, fish feeding on fishing vessels is also very necessary. The purpose of this research is to design a system that can control pH, fish feeding, fish water replacement. in the fish hold using an IoT-based microcontroller. The method used in this research uses quantitative methods through system design, design software design models, product trials.This method is used This research method includes steps taken to design and implement the system, as well as tests carried out to ensure the performance and success of the designed system. The results of the data designed by the system are analyzing the data in testing this tool according to its function. The accuracy of using the tool when feeding is 90.5% and the percentage error is 9.5%. The accuracy of using the tool when draining mode is 100% with a percentage error of 0%. And for the results of the percentage error of the pH sensor when the mode is on by 100% with a percentage error of 0%. This shows that the Smart Pond system designed has a high level of accuracy in terms of fish feeding and pond draining.
