Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji perbedaan hasil belajar matematika dan motivasi belajar siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif handep dan tipe STAD. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas tujuh VII SMPN-1 Palangkaraya. Hipotesis penelitian diuji dengan uji-t dan uji U Mann-Whitney pada taraf kepercayaan 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (a) hasil belajar matematika siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif handep lebih tinggi dari STAD, dan (b) tidak ada perbedaan motivasi belajar pada siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif handep dan STAD.This study purpose examined the differences in mathematics learning outcomes and students' motivation to learn the cooperative learning model handep and STAD. The samples is seventh grade students of SMPN-1 Palangkaraya. The research hypotheses were tested by t-test and Mann-Whitney test. The research results are (a) the learning outcomes of students who are learning mathematics with cooperative learning model handep higher than STAD, and (b) there was no difference in the students' motivation to learn in cooperative learning model handep higher than STAD.

Abstract

This article describes the development of handep cooperative learning model consist of 3-4 members become pair handep cooperative learning model in the form of module and validated by experts and students who used it. The model of development used R2D2, that focused on the design and development stage. The draft of the model at the single-path prototype level validated by the learning expert and small group validation in context the of mathematics learning in secondary school, to get the model at alpha version level. The instrument is rubric and questionnaire for small group testing. The result of the research (1) the model has fulflled the principle of quantum teaching that is context orchestrations include an exciting learning atmosphere and solid foundation; (2) junior high school students rated the model interesting and fun; (3) learning steps that to be challenging on individual work steps and mutually assisting in solved the difcult problems for students individually; (4) the model has reached the alpha version level. Abstrak Artikel ini menjelaskan pengembangan model pembelajaran kooperatif handep beranggotakan 3-4 orang menjadi model kooperatif handep berpasangan dalam bentuk modul dan dinilai oleh pakar dan siswa yang menggunakannya. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah R2D2 (Recursive, Reflective, Design and Development), difokuskan pada tahap design and development. Draf model pada level single path prototype divalidasi oleh pakar pembelajaran dan uji kelompok kecil dalam pembelajaran matematika di SMP, untuk mendapatkan model pada level alpha version. Instrumen berupa koesioner dengan pertanyaan terbuka untuk validasi ahli, dan angket respon siswa untuk uji kelompok kecil. Hasil penelitian (1) model telah memenuhi kaidah Quantum teaching yaitu orkestrasi konteks meliputi suasana belajar yang menggairahkan dan landasan yang kokoh, (2) siswa SMP menilai model tersebut menarik dan menyenangkan, (3) langkah-langkah pembelajaran yang dirasakan menantang pada langkah bekerja secara individual dan saling membantu secara bergiliran dalam memecahkan masalah sulit bagi siswa secara individual, dan (4) model telah mencapai level alpha version. Abstract

The challenge of mathematics teacher of SMAN-2 Palangka Raya was student boredom.  The aim of research (1) increases the students’ enthusiasm in learn trigonometry and (2) increase the learning outcome of multiplication to addition and subtraction identity of sine and cosine, used metacognition questions and fantasy ironwood tree metaphor integrated to hands-on activity. The research used the classroom action research method in three cycles of action. The subjects were 40 students of grade XI MIPA4 Specialization SMAN-2 Palangka Raya. Data comprised of learning journal, photos and video recording, and students’ answer, collected through observation and interview, and analyzed through reduction and tabulation. The research result showed the classroom atmosphere change as the impact of action implementation, in which (1) the increase of right answers numbers; (2) the emerge of learning enthusiasm; (3) the variation product of the fantasy ironwood tree creation.Tantangan guru matematika SMAN-2 Palangka Raya munculnya kebosanan. Tujuan penelitian untuk  (1) meningkatkan semangat siswa belajar  trigonometri, (2) meningkatkan hasil belajar identitas perkalian ke penjumlahan dan pengurangan sine dan cosine, melalui penggunaan pertanyaan metakognisi dan metafora pohon ulin fantasi yang diintegrasikan dalam hands-on activity. Penelitian dilakisanakan dengan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tiga siklus tindakan. Subjek penelitian 40 siswa kelas XI MIPA 4 Peminatan SMAN-2 Palangka Raya. Data berupa jurnal mengajar, rekaman foto-foto dan video, serta jawaban siswa, dikumpulkan dengan pengamatan dan wawancara yang dianalisis melalui reduksi dan tabulasi.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perubahan suasana kelas sebagai dampak pelaksanaan tindakan, dimana  (1) terjadi peningkatan jumlah jawaban benar; (2) teramati munculnya semangat belajar ; (3)  produk kreativitas  pohon ulin fantasi yang beragam dengan tempelan jawaban soal-soal identitas perkalian sinus dan cosinus.
