Abstract

Heat exchanger is a device used to transfer heat energy from a fluid to in another fluid. Each fluid has different characteristics. Value of convection heat transfer is determined by the value of the convection heat transfer coefficient (h) which depends on the dimensions and flow conditions. The fluid with the additional of Al2O3 nanoparticles (aluminum oxide) and TiO2 (Titanium dioxide) has great potential for cooling applications. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of Al2O3 and TiO2 particle concentration on the value of the convection heat transfer coefficient in the double pipe heat exchanger with circular straight pipes. Cooling fluid used is pure water, the fluid with the addition of Al2O3 nanoparticles and fluid with the addition of TiO2 nanoparticles at concentrations of respectively 40 ppm and 60 ppm. Flow used in a heat exchanger is the flow of counterflow type. Changes in temperature controlled 95 ° C for hot fluid, 17ºC for cooling fluid. The results show the influence of Al2O3 and TiO2 nanoparticles in the fluid characteristics and an increase in the value of the convection heat transfer coefficient is influenced by the amount of concentration on mixing nanoparticles in the cooling fluid.

Abstract

Solar panels are a tool that serves to convert sunlight into electrical voltage, sunlight itself contained energy in the form of photons. In this photon hit the surface of the electron solar cell panel that will be excited and cause electricity. This is known as the photoelectric principle. Every day the earth rotates on its axis while orbiting along the ellipse. Where along the plane of the earth's orbit is called the ecliptic plane so that it affects the geothermal received. So in this study analyzed the angle of the panel with the battery charging time needed on wood cutting equipment. From the results of testing and observation of the most effective tilt angle and with the highest power is an angle of 30°. Where the intensity of sunlight received by solar panels is very influential that determines the amount of electrical output or power generated by solar panels. Due to erratic weather and average power generated during 7 hours of measurement and observation produces 55.29 Watts then the power passed on the scc (controller) for the battery charging time for 7 hours then (7 hours × 55.29 Watt = 387.03 Watts / h) after being calculated to get a total load of 328.98 Wh and the length of battery charging time at full condition (full) is 1.64 Hours (h) with the slope angle sample taken is an angle of 30° with power highest.

Abstract

Kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara memiliki potensi besar sebagai daerah satelit IKN dengan model teknologi inovatif yang harus efisien, lokal, dan berkelanjutan. Universitas Gunadarma dan Pemerintah Kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara telah melakukan analisis kebutuhan teknologi. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat adalah membantu Kelompok Tani Harapan Baru di Desa Giri Purwa mengatasi masalah lahan pertanian yang masam, bekas tambang, bekas lahan sawit, serta produktivitas pangan dan hortikultura.Kegiatan pengabdian ini melibatkan pembuatan pupuk organik khusus untuk menyehatkan lahan dan meningkatkan produktivitas. Hasilnya akan dipublikasikan secara online dan dalam bentuk video, yang akan meningkatkan daya saing produk, menerapkan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, serta memperbaiki nilai-nilai pendidikan. Publikasi ini akan menjadi dasar bagi kegiatan pendampingan di berbagai bidang.
