Abstract

Dalam Agama Buddha, manusia harus bekerja sama dengan yang lain, dengan demikian usaha atau bisnis yang dijalankan dapat membawa hasil tidak hanya untuk dirinya sendiri tetapi juga untuk yang lain. Inilah perlunya didalam wirausaha memiliki etika atau aturan-aturan, norma-norma yang harus dimiliki bagi para wirausaha atau pengusaha didalam menjalankan bisnisnya agar tidak melanggar Dharma Sang Buddha. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini, adalah metode penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif melalui penelitian kepustakaan, yaitu suatu metode yang meneliti status kelompok manusia, suatu obyek, suatu kondisi, suatu sistem pemikiran, atau peristiwa melalui peninggalan tertulis, baik literatur atau referensi umum maupun literatur atau referensi Buddhis, terutama berupa buku-buku, kitab suci, arsip-arsip dan dokumen-dokumen tentang pendapat atau pemikiran para ahli. Penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukan bahwa terdapat etika wirausaha dalam pandangan Buddhis.

Abstract

Masa Remaja merupakan masa yang sangat istimewa karena terjadi perkembangan yang sangat pesat bagi remaja, meliputi perkembangan fisik, sosial emosional dan kemampuan kognitif. Remaja sebagai individu yang sedang berada pada masa peralihan dan pencarian jati diri kerap menimbulkan masalah. Kurangnya pengawasan dan bimbingan dari orang tua membuat mereka terjerumus dalam pergaulan yang tidak benar, sehingga melupakan tanggung jawab sebagai seorang remaja dan hidup tanpa disiplin. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan data dengan melakukan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi menganalisa data melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, memberikan gambaran peran pembimbing Sekolah Minggu Buddha sebagai kalyāṇamitta dalam upaya menanamkan disiplin dan tanggung jawab pada remaja peserta Sekolah Minggu Buddha Surya Maitreya Kotapinang.

Abstract

Digital space is currently being used as a propaganda tool for extremism in the name of religion, so efforts are needed to counter this influence. This study aims to analyze the mainstreaming of religious moderation by teachers in the digital era as an effort to counter the influence of intolerance and extremism. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with meta-synthetic data analysis techniques. Data was obtained through a collection of published journals from 2019-2022. According to the findings of this study, educators can promote religious moderation in today's digital age through a variety of activities, including 1) literacy through digital libraries; 2) literacy through social media; 3) literacy through webinars; and 4) literacy through scientific writing. In order to educate students about religious moderation and how it might be applied in a multicultural society's day-to-day activities, this literacy programme has been designed.

Abstract

Buddhist Sunday School, as a form of non-formal religious education, aims to instill saddha/sraddha and bhakti to continuously enhance the faith of the Buddhist community (PP 55 of 2007). In the pursuit of this objective, the use of instructional media is crucial in the teaching and learning process. The underutilization of technology as a teaching aid in Sunday Schools has drawn the researcher's attention, prompting an intention to provide training on creating interactive instructional media using the Smart App Creator. The training method involves pre-training assessment, the actual training, and training evaluation conducted for the teachers of Buddhist Sunday School (BSS) in Sampetan Village. This training is meant to be incorporated into the curriculum of Mahabodhicitta Buddhist Sunday School in Sampetan Village. With the implementation of the Smart App Creator, the teachers of Mahabodhicitta BSS and its students will experience a new way of learning and teaching techniques during Sunday School classes. Through this training, the BSS teachers will be equipped to develop android-based mobile learning instructional media, resulting in an improvement of their pedagogical abilities.

Abstract

Advances in science and technology accompanied by the rapid flow of globalization have had their own impact on human life, one of which is the development of technology in the field of communication. In the field of religion, it can be seen from significant changes, namely that Buddhism has begun to keep up with the times by using technology in carrying out religious activities such as dhamma lectures and online devotional service but there are still activities in Buddhism that have not been well coordinated, namely the dharmayatra ritual, therefore the researchers took the initiative to create a Dharmayatra Digitalization Service media in Indonesia called SIDHARTA (Dharmayatra Nusantara Application System). Dharmayatra activities from temple entrance tickets, travel routes, Dharmaytra packages, Dharmayatra guides, In developing this application researchers use the Development Life Circle Waterfall which has six steps The "SIDHARTA" application is an application that can be used by Buddhists in Indonesia. Through this application, it can facilitate the implementation of Dharmayatra ritual activities in Indonesia through the facilities available in the application.

Abstract

Corona virus is a virus that attacks especially in the respiratory tract caused by a type of virus that is a relative of Sars (SARS-CoV-2. The rate of spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia is relatively fast, so this situation also has a major impact on teaching and learning activities which require a social distancing system. Religious activities have also been affected by the pandemic, especially prayer activities which are usually routinely carried out by Buddhists, pre-pandemic temple activities which were face-to-face, whereas during the pandemic there was a change in learning and teaching procedures, namely by utilizing distance learning facilities or known as the online system. (on the network). Many people experience mental health problems, especially during the pandemic. Mental health means the health of all aspects of development which include the physical and psychological. The total population in this study was less than 100, so all members of the population were used as samples. Data analysis is used to answer research problems that have been formulated, because the data to be collected is in the form of numbers, the data processing technique used is statistics. The data collected will be analyzed using the linear regression formula with the help of computer statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS 21) software for windows. The purpose of this study is to find out how much influence online guidance and vipassana meditation practice have on the mental health of KDAB Pariyapunati Indonesia Batch 24 participants in 2023. The results of this study can be concluded that there is online guidance and vipassana meditation practice on the mental health of KDAB Pariyapunati Indonesia batch 24 participants in 2023, namely with a regression coefficient value of 8.25 which shows a strong relationship between the variables of online guidance and vipassana meditation practice on changes in mental health , and shows a coefficient of determination of 0.681, thus meaning that 68.0% of the mental health of KDAB Pariyapunati Indonesia batch 24 participants in 2023 is influenced by online guidance and vipassana meditation practice while the other 32.0% is influenced by other factors not included in the the regression. These factors are the family environment, social environment, peers, and modeling.

Abstract

The sustainability and success of educational institutions are influenced by various factors including the quality of service. The research objective was to analyze the effect of service quality on the tangible, responsiveness, reliability, assurance, empathy and parents' satisfaction on the loyalty of students' parents to Nava Dhammasekha Cinta Kasih in Sorong City. The study used a quantitative approach with proportional sampling of 84 people. Data collection techniques with questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that service quality had a positive and significant effect on the loyalty of students' parents by the value of t count 3.197 t table 1.99045, sig value 0.002 0.05. Satisfaction of parents of students has a positive and significant effect on the loyalty of parents of students by the value of t count 5.216 t table 1.99045, sig value 0.001 0.05. Simultaneously the quality of service and the satisfaction of parents of students affect the loyalty of parents of students with a value of f count 179.733 t table 3.11226, sig value 0.001 0.05. The higher the quality of service and the satisfaction of parents of students at the Nava Dhammasekha Cinta Kasih school, the greater the loyalty of parents of students with a coefficient of determination of 0.82.

Abstract

The object of this research is the development of android-based interactive learning media in the subjects of Buddhist Religion and Moral Education. Especially on Buddha Parinibbana material. Learning in the subjects of Buddhist Religion and Moral Education at SMPN 1 Cluwak still uses conventional methods, namely lectures which are considered ineffective. This research seeks to solve these problems. This research is research development or research and development (R&D). The method used in this research is a 10-step method developed by Borg and Gall (1889). This research only took four stages due to limited ability, time and cost. The results of this study are in the form of learning media products in the form of applications using the Android operating program. The material in the application is Buddha Parinibbana in grade 9 of junior high school.

Abstract

Objek penelitian ini merupakan siswa beragama Buddha kelas XII SMA0Negeri 1 Donorojo, Kec. Donorojo, Kab. Jepara. Siswa sejumlah 22 orang. Observasi menunjukkan bahwa banyak siswa yang kurang tertib mengikuti Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar mata0pelajaran Agama Buddha. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mencari tahu secara teliti seberapajauh peran teman sebaya dalam memberikan pengaruh terhadap kecenderungan atau predisposisi belajar siswa beragama Buddha terhadap mata pelajaran agama Buddha di SMA0Negeri 1 Donorojo, Kec. Donorojo, Kabupaten Jepara. Penelitian0ini menerapkan metode0penelitian0kuantitatif, yang didasarkan pada0paradigma struktural fungsional. Metode analisis yang diterapkan adalah analisis parametrik, digunakan untuk menguji parameter populasi dengan memanfaatkan data sampel dengan tipe data interval atau rasio, serta memiliki distribusi yang normal. Temuan dari analisis data menggunakan persamaan regresi0linier sederhana menunjukkan bahwa nilai R square 0,850. Ini mengindikasikan bahwa sekitar 85,0% dari predisposisi terhadap pembelajaran agama Buddha di SMA Negeri 1 Donorojo dapat dijelaskan oleh pengaruh dari teman sebaya. Sementara itu, sisanya 15% dipengaruhi variabel lain yang tidak termasuk dalam model regresi tersebut.

Abstract

This article covers aspects of prayer in the development of spiritual intelligence. The study aims to investigate the impact of the practice of puja bakti on the spiritual intelligence of Buddhist students at Bhakti Karya Kaloran High School. The study involved research subjects such as Buddhist religious students at Bakti Karya Kaloran High School in 2023 who were selected as samples of research. The research method used is a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The correlation value between the variable puja bakti to spiritual intelligence is 0.712. This value can be predicted that the relationship of the two variables tested is in the strong category. The results of the study showed a significant correlational relationship between the performance of bakti puja and the spiritual intelligence of students with evidence of a significance value of 0.003 < 0.05 and a t-count value of 6.251 > t-table 2,021, also contributing 49.6%. The recommendation from this study is to implement morning prayer routine and targeted in the school environment to enhance the spiritual intelligence of students.
