Abstract

Effect of Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction in the Work Area of Regional Office of BRI Pekanbaru. The instrument used for data collection is a questionnaire. The population of this research is Bank BRI customers located in the Working Area of BRI Pekanbaru Regional Office which accumulated until 31 December 2015 amounted to 77,750 people. The sample in this study based on the formula taro yamane obtained 100 people. Data analysis techniques use simple linear regression analysis. The results show that service quality has a significant direct and positive influence on customer satisfaction. This study concludes that the better service quality applied to customers in the Work Area of BRI Pekanbaru Regional Office, the better the customer satisfaction. Direct contribution given quality of service on customer satisfaction is equal to 54,6%, while the rest 45,4% influenced by other factor.

Abstract

Empowerment of Human Resources in Gender Mainstreaming. This study aims to analyze the implementation of immunization and factors affecting the empowerment of human resources in gender mainstreaming in the Office of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection. The research informants were Head of Department, Head of Division and Head of Women Empowerment. Data collection techniques in this study using questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Data analysis in this research using interactive model analysis include data reduction phase, data presentation and data verification to draw conclusion. The results show that all activities planned in the Strategic Plan of the Office of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection are mostly implemented. In addition, some women empowerment programs have been successfully implemented, just not succeeded in realizing gender equality. While the inhibiting factor of the implementation of human resource empowerment program in mainstreaming gender is the minimum budget allocated.

Abstract

Training, Ability and Performance. This study aims to determine the effect of training on performance, the influence of the ability of employees on employee performance and the influence of training and employee ability on the performance of employees of the Office Immigration Class I Pekanbaru. The method used is descriptive and quantitative method. A sample of 71 people from 127 employees of Immigration Office Class I Pekanbaru with random sampling technique. Techniques of collecting questionnaire data, observation and interview. Data analysis using multiple linear regression. The result of the research shows that partially known variables of training have a significant effect on employee performance. Partially known working ability variables have a significant effect on employee performance. It is simultaneously known that the variables of training and work ability have a significant effect on the performance of the employees at the First Class Immigration Office of Pekanbaru. This indicates with the provision of training and training will improve the ability of employees and will have an impact on improving the performance of these employees.
