Abstract

The background of the research is the phenomenon of people facing troubles and challengein life which is responded with hopelessness. They are considered to have low adversity quotient.These symptoms were found during counseling among students of Guidence and Counceling ofSlamet Riyadi University 2015. This phenomenon was recorded by their scores which were onlyE and D. It was found that the everage number is two for each class group. The improvement ofadversity quotient was conducted through basic service counceling program namely classicalprogram. This program drives councelors to make a direct contact with the students in theirclassrooms through discussion and ideas sharing. It is hoped that the students’ adversityquotients improve.The topic given during the classical counceling were those related to the goal of thecounceling in the adversity quotient research. They are destructive thinking, adversity quotient,education film entitled “Succesful diffables”, “INSIGHT 12 SPSS”The research applied class room action research with two cycles. The steps cover 1)planning, 2) action, 3) observation, 4) reflection. This research also applied adversity responseprofile for data collecting.The result shows that the students’ adversity quotient improved after cycle 1. It is indicatedby the decrease of the number for those with the lowest score 31,25% became only 6,25%, andfor those with medium score 9,375 increased into 31,25%, and those with highest score 9,375%.In cycle 2 the number increased significantly signed by the disapearance of the lowest and lowcgroup.Based on the research, it is suggested; 1) to increase the adversity quotient for students,classical counceling with speech and film is suggested, 2) to choose interesting film to be usedduring the counceling to increase the adversity quotient.Keywords: adversity quotient, classical counceling

Abstract

There are symptoms of children in Alif Tsalatsa Surakarta experienced communication apprehension from the counseling interview conducted by the author to some children in the boarding school is a number of children when chatting with friends, as if the conversation is cornered him and then away from the crowd and choose alone when his friend was just joking. In addition one of the children said that if communicating with his friend even if it was just a casual conversation he felt confused to position himself, if gathered together in a small group between lodgers look worried, depressed from the sweaty hands, and nervous looking confused in starting the conversation and was afraid the topic was unattractive. In addition, if there is a problem with his friend, the student does not dare to express his heart. He prefers silence because when spoken of he is afraid of tipping the problem and afraid if the child is abandoned his friends.The training of group guidance services is able to cope with communication apprehension (In Children In Alif Tsalatsa Surakarta). Method of Implementation in this community service activities is with the provision of services group guidance. by using the game in this activity is in every meeting will discuss the topic of the task of the theme of communication in the process of its activities inserted game put forward by Suwarjo and Eliasa are: a) chain word; b) Our Picture; c) Trips of the Three Disabled; d) Continue my story; e) Standing Together. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to: (1) develop development and multimedia task counseling skills modules to improve the performance of the advisory board in the street children social rehabilitation center "Kartini" Tawangmangu; (2) testing the effectiveness of development and multimedia task-based counseling skills modules in improving the performance of the board of advisers in the street rehabilitation center for social children "Kartini" Tawangmangu. Kartini "Tawangmangu has not yet understood the concept of basic counseling skills both in theory and application; mentoring services provided have not been based on an analysis of the tasks of developing foster children; multimedia has not been used as a tool in providing services. This study has a period of 1 year (12 months). The implementation plan is: (1) preparation of the preparation of a hypothetical module; (2) the arrangement of a hypothetical module; (3) expert validation and practitioner validation; (4) hypothetical module revisions; (5) field testing; (6) the final results of the module on development and multimedia task-based counseling skills in improving the performance of the advisory board in the street children social rehabilitation center. The main outputs generated from this research are development and multimedia task-based counseling skills modules that can effectively improve the performance of the advisory board in the street children social rehabilitation center "Kartini" Tawangmangu. This module is flexible and comprehensive to be applied in the street children social rehabilitation center. Flexible means that this module can be applied in all street children social rehabilitation centers in Indonesia. Comprehensive means that the development of this module is based on the results of preliminary field studies and relevant theoretical studies and validated by experts and practitioners.Keywords: Development counseling and multimedia counseling skills, Performance of the advisory board street children social rehabilitation center Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menyusun modul counseling skill berbasis tugas perkembangan dan multimedia untuk meningkatkan kinerja dewan pembina di balai rehabilitasi sosial anak jalanan “Kartini” Tawangmangu; (2) melakukan uji efektivitas modul counseling skill berbasis tugas perkembangan dan multimedia dalam meningkatkan kinerja dewan pembina di balai rehabilitasi sosial anak jalanan “Kartini” Tawangmangu Penelitian ini beranjak pada hasil studi pendahuluan yang menunjukan bahwa: semua dewan pembina di balai rehabilitasi sosial anak jalanan “Kartini” Tawangmangu belum memahami konsep keterampilan dasar konseling baik secara terori maupun aplikasi; layanan pendampingan yang diberikan belum didasarkan pada analisis tugas perkembangan anak asuh; belum dimanfaatkannya multimedia sebagai alat bantu dalam memberikan layanan. Penelitian ini berjangka waktu 1 tahun (12 bulan). Adapun rencana pelaksanaannya adalah: (1) persiapan penyusunan modul hipotetik; (2) tersusunnya modul hipotetik; (3) validasi ahli dan validasi praktisi; (4) revisi modul hipotetiki; (5) uji lapangan; (6) hasil akhir modul counseling skill berbasis tugas perkembangan dan multimedia dalam meningkatkan kinerja dewan pembina di balai rehabilitasi sosial anak jalanan. Luaran utama yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini adalah modul counseling skill berbasis tugas perkembangan dan multimedia yang secara efektif dapat meningkatkan kinerja dewan pembina di balai rehabilitasi sosial anak jalanan “Kartini” Tawangmangu. Modul ini bersifat fleksibel dan komprehensif untuk diaplikasikan di balai rehabilitasi sosial anak jalanan. Bersifat fleksibel artinya bahwa modul ini bisa diterapkan di semua balai rehabilitasi sosial anak jalanan di Indonesia. Bersifat komprehensif artinya bahwa pengembangan modul ini didasarkan pada hasil studi pendahuluan lapangan dan kajian teori yang relevan serta sudah divalidasi ahli dan praktisi.Kata kunci: Counseling skill berbasis tugas perkembangan dan multimedia, Kinerja dewan pembina balai rehabilitasi sosial anak jalanan

Abstract

Diera digital ini sangat mempengaruhi komunikasi anak dan orang tua, seseorang yang jauh menjadi dekat dan yang dekat terasa jauh karena adanya media sosial. Banyak sekali kesalahan komunikasi yang dilakukan orang tua terhadap anak-anaknya di rumah. Orang tua yang kurang bisa berkomunikasi dengan anaknya akan menimbulkan kerenggangan atau konflik hubungan, sebaliknya orang tua yang dapat menerima dan berkomunikasi secara efektif sebagaimana adanya akan membuat anak cenderung dapat tumbuh, berkembang, membuat perubahan-perubahan yang membangun, belajar memecahkan masalah-masalah, secara psikologis semakin sehat, semakin produktif, kreatif dan mampu mengaktualisasikan potensi sepenuhnya. Karena itu, orang tua perlu menumbuhkan sikap yang tepat dan mempelajari keterampilan komunikasi yang efektif untuk menguatkan hubungan antara orang tua dan anak. Orang tua harus mengambil inisiatif dengan mengikuti beberapa cara untuk membangun komunikasi yang efektif, salah satunya melalui pendekatan behavior teknik modeling. Sasaran pengabdian adalah Keluarga Penerima Manfaat (KPM) Program Keluarga Harapan di Kecamatan Wonosegoro. Tujuan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memberikan metode pelatihan dalam membangun komunikasi interpersonal yang efektif antara orang tua dengan anak diera digital melalui teknik modeling. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah modeling sebagai pendekatan membangun komunikasi interpersonal yang efektif dalam keluarga. Dalam metode modeling ini menggunakan beberapa teknik khusus yaitu teknik Symbolic Model, Live Model dan Behavior Rehearsal.. Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, dilaksanakan dengan seminar dan pelatihan melalui ceramah, diskusi dan ramu pendapat (brain storming), tanya jawab, serta praktik secara langsung. Pelaksanaan pelatihan teknik modeling sebagai upaya dalam membangun komunikasi interpersonal yang efektif orang tua dengan anak diera digital dilakukan sebanyak 4 kali pertemuan.  Hasil yang diharapkan dari pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan adalah terwujud pemahaman orang tua tentang pentingnya membangun komunikasi interpersonal yang efektif antara orang tua dengan anak diera digital yang diaplikasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari melalui teknik modeling. Kata Kunci : Teknik Modeling, Komunikasi Interpersonal

Abstract

The main objective in this research is to increase the activity of semester IV students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program of FKIP Unisri in 2018/2019 in the teaching and learning process through group guidance. The design used in this study was pre-experimental. The sample in this study was the fourth semester students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program FKIP UNISRI in 2018/2019 who had low activity in the teaching and learning process. The data collection method in this study is the scale of student activity in the teaching and learning process. Validity test uses the correlation formula Product Moment rxy = 0.422> rtable = 0.325 and the reliability of the instrument uses the formula Alpha r11 = 0.928> rtable = 0.325 then it is concluded that the instrument is reliable. Data analysis techniques using the Wilcoxon Zhitung Test formula = -3.298> Ztable = 0.21, it shows that the activeness of students in teaching and learning can be improved through group guidance services.Keywords: Group Guidance, Student activeness in teaching and learningAbstrak :Tujuan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keaktifan mahasiswa semester IV Program Studi Bimbingan Dan Konseling FKIP Unisri Tahun 2018/2019  dalam poses belajar mengajar melalui bimbingan kelompok. Adapun desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre-eksperimental. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa semester IV Program Studi Bimbingan Dan Konseling FKIP UNISRI Tahun 2018/2019 yang memiliki keaktifan dalam proses belajar mengajar rendah. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah skala keaktifan mahasiswa dalam proses belajar mengajar. Uji validitas menggunakan rumus korelasi Product Moment rxy = 0.422 > rtabel  = 0.325 dan reliabilitas instrumen menggunakan rumus Alpha r11 = 0.928> rtabel  = 0.325 maka disimpulkan bahwa instumen tersebut reliabel. Abstract

Affiliation motive is a need that every individual needs. Individuals need a need where one of these needs is the need to relate to other people or the need to make friends with others. There are symptoms of the Karuna Putra Orphanage children who have low affiliation motives, some children who form groups and between groups are not very close even though they are in one dormitory. There are also other groups who cannot accept the existence of other friends.. The implementation of this community service activity is by providing group guidance services. which in each meeting will discuss the topic of assignments with the theme of affiliation motivation and activities that include games, namely: a) word chain; b) Our Picture; c) Trip of Three Disabled Persons; d) Continue my story; e) Stand Together; f) positive thingking. Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of "Analysis of the Trends in Students to Obtain Learning Motivation Through Individual Counseling Services for Class IX Students of SMP Negeri 18 Surakarta Academic Year 2020/2021." The subjects of this study were students of class IX with low learning motivation, parents and counseling teachers. The object of this research is to analyze the students' tendency to learn motivation through individual counseling by discussing it in a qualitative study. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interview and documentation methods. The observation method is used to obtain data sources from clients during the interview. While the interview method is used to obtain information from several sources related to the tendency of students to gain learning motivation through individual counseling. While the documentation method is used to obtain activity data during the research as well as supporting data in this study. The validity of the data in this study is the triangulation of sources, triangulation of techniques. Triangulation of sources is the collection of different data using the same technique. while the triangulation of techniques is data collection by researchers using different data collection techniques to obtain data from the same source. In this study, the data analysis model of Miles and Huberman used data analysis where data analysis was carried out when data collection took place, and after completing data collection within a certain period. If the answers to the results of the interview after being analyzed are not satisfactory, the researcher will continue the questions again, until a certain stage is obtained data that is considered credible. Based on the data analysis, the conclusion is that the counselee initially has low learning motivation, where the counselee often does not participate in online learning and does not collect assignments given by the teacher. After the researcher carried out individual counseling services, there were positive changes that occurred to the counselee, namely the counselee had started to actively participate in online learning and always collected assignments given by the teacher. Changes that occur in counselees due to individual counseling activities carried out by researchers can be concluded that the role of individual counseling can be used to overcome the problems of students who are less motivated to learn in taking online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.
