Abstract

Literature is a work of art that produces beautiful creative works that can be poured or created by humans. The beauty of language is easily seen in literary works, especially by using stylistic analysis. Therefore, the author is interested in conducting a research entitled "Analysis of Stylistics in a Collection of Poetry Tears of Batu by Fakhrunnas Ma Jabbar". The problems in this study (1) how is the stylistic analysis of lexical elements in the poem Airmata Batu by Fakhrunnas Ma Jabbar? (2) how is the stylistic analysis of rhetorical means in the poem Airmata Batu by Fakhrunnas Ma Jabbar?. This study aims to find and analyze the lexical elements and rhetorical means contained in the poem Airmata Batu by Fakhrunnas Ma Jabbar. The theory used in this study is the theory of Nurgiantoro (2014) about stylistics, and several other supporting theories. The data of this research was taken from the collection of poetry Airmata Batu by Fakhrunnas Ma Jabbar. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. This type of research is library research. Data collection techniques using hermeneutic techniques. The data analysis technique is that the data that has been obtained are grouped and presented, the grouped data is processed using the listed theories, text analysis, data interpretation, and concludes the data. The results of this study are as follows. First, the lexical elements contained in the poem Airmata batu are 7 data, the sound aspect is 7 data, and the meaning aspect is 7 data. Second, the means of rhetorical figurative language in simile comparisons contains 3 data, metaphor, 6 data, personification 17 data, allegory 2 data, figurative language linking metomini the author cannot find it, synecdoche 5 data. Rhetoric means visual imagery 5 data, auditory imagery 8 data, motion imagery 6 data, tactile imagery 4 data and olfactory imagery 4 data.

Abstract

The freedom of use of the language of novel authors resulted in the emergence of different dramatic languages for the author to give rise to aesthetics to his works such as stilistics. The study of stilistics is found in many novels in the form of language disclosure that is able to create an interesting story, so this is always the mainstay of the author in his novel as an attraction. The problem with this study is 1) How is the use of diction (Lexical) in the novel The Storm Child by Tere Liye?, 2) How is the use of dramatic language in the novel The Storm Child by Tere Liye?. This study aims to analyze the use of diction (lexical) and drematic language in the novel The Storm Child by Tere Lliye. In conducting research researchers use descriptive methods with research techniques, namely hermaunetic techniques. The theory that the authors used in this study is Sikana (2005) in the study of stilistics on dramatic language elements and the use of diction. The source of the data in this study is the novel The Storm Child by Tere Liye which is titled 25 subbabs. The results of this study show the use of diction (lexical) in the novel The Storm Child by Tere Liye there are 41 data. In novels many use the selection of words with foreign languages and standard languages. Its dominance in the standard language because the selection of the selected standard word can still describe the content of an interesting story with words or language that is formal in everyday conversation that is still acceptable to the reader and understood. In addition, the dramatic language in the novel The Storm Child by Tere Liye in this study contained 19 data. From the data there are dramatic languages namely metaphors, smiles, personification compounds and sticometry. The dominance of dramatic language in this novel is more about the majas personification of 7 data, this is because the author tries to provide stories with comparisons between objects with objects or humans with objects that seem to have the same character and nature as humans.. So this will be more interesting to readers with the comparisons given in the language and story of the novel. In addition, metaphors as much as 3 data., smile as much as 6 data, and styymetry there are 3 data.

Abstract

In Pelalawan Regency, Riau, there are various types of oral literature, including Nyanyi Panjang, which contains Malay teaching instructions. The reason for this research is to obtain the Malay teaching instructions contained in the Nyanyi Panjang Balam Ponganjuw composition by Herman Maskar and to add insight into oral literature in the Malay area. The problem is how to teach Malay in the long song Balam Ponganjuw composed of Herman Maskar?. The type of research used is library research or library research. The source of the data used is the book Nyanyi Panjang Balam Ponganjuw composed of Herman Maskar. Data were analyzed by the descriptive analysis method. The theory used is Tennas Effendy (2004). Based on the data analysis, it was concluded that there were 27 Malay teaching data in the Nyanyi Panjang Balam Ponganjuw composition of Herman Maskar, namely: devotion to God Almighty as much as 4 data, Obedience to Mother and Father as much as 3 data, Obedience to the Leader as much as 2 data, Justice and Truth as much as 2 data, Trust as much as 3 data, Courage as much as 3 data, Humble nature as much as 3 data, Compassion as much as 3 data, Rights and Possessions as much as 2 data, and Thinking well of others as much as 2 data. One of the most dominant examples of Malay teaching is the aspect of piety to God Almighty because piety to God Almighty is the core of aqidah which is related to asking by praying and putting your trust in Him.

Abstract

Reading poetry is one of the teaching of literature in the High School Curriculum. As a form of literary work, poetry has many benefits for children's development, namely for High School students. For High School students, reading poetry is sometimes a scary thing or a scourge for them, even though they enjoy learning to read poetry. Most students still think learning to read poetry is a difficult and scary lesson. Every time there is a poetry reading competition, the teacher finds it difficult to find students who are willing and brave in reading poetry. This is because students are not used to reading poetry in front of people. The problem of students in reading Malay poetry is the lack of students' understanding both theoretically and practically in mastering dynamic stress; (b) tone pressure (intonation); (c) tempo pressure. The solution is to conduct poetry reading training for students of SMA Negeri 2 Dumai, Dumai City. The method of community service uses a descriptive method, meaning it is descriptive to describe what it is. This service is in the nature of collecting, managing, and analyzing the data presented as it is in accordance with the problems in the field. The descriptive method was used because the author wanted to accurately assess the ability of the students of SMA Negeri 2 Dumai, Dumai City, in reading poetry. Based on the implementation of "Poetry Reading Training for Students of SMA Negeri 2 Dumai, Dumai City" it can be concluded that the activity went smoothly and successfully. Participants have been able to theoretically understand Malay poetry and have good reading skills. This training was conducted in an effort to improve students' competence in reading Malay poetry. Furthermore, from filling out the partner satisfaction questionnaire, it can be concluded that the average participant is satisfied with the activities carried out.

Abstract

Abstract: The assessment position in the design of learning implementation is part of three main components, namely learning objectives, learning activities, and assessment of learning outcomes. The phenomenon that occurs is that not all teachers make appropriate assessments regarding students' poetry writing skills. Several cases indicated that teachers did not assess students' poetry using appropriate indicators. Therefore, the PkM team assumes that there is a need for training in the creation of a poetry writing skill assessment rubric for the Indonesian Language MGMP team at the high school level in Pekanbaru. This PkM activity aims to provide teachers with an understanding of how to compose a rubric for assessing poetry writing skills. After mentoring, it was concluded that the assessment of poetry writing skills could be done by paying attention to the skills to form two structures that build poetry. The two skills are: (1) the skill to form the physical structure of poetry which includes the ability to use diction, the ability to imagine, the ability to use figure of speech, the ability to use rhyme and the ability to use typography; (2) skills in forming the inner structure of poetry which include skills in expressing themes and skills in expressing messages. The two skills above can be derived in the form of a poetry writing skill assessment rubric that can be used by teachers in assessing poetry written by students. The amount of weight for each indicator varies depending on the level of difficulty of each.         Keywords: poetry writing skills; inner structure; physical structureAbstrak: Kedudukan penilaian dalam desain penyelenggaraan pembelajaran adalah sebagai bagian dari tiga komponen pokok, yaitu tujuan pembelajaran, kegiatan pembelajaran, dan penilaian hasil pembelajaran. Fenomena yang terjadi adalah tidak semua guru melakukan penilaian yang tepat terkait keterampilan menulis puisi siswa. Beberapa kasus mengindikasikan bahwa guru tidak menilai puisi siswa dengan menggunakan indikator yang tepat. Oleh karena itu, tim PkM berasumsi bahwa perlu diadakan pelatihan pembuatan rubrik penilaian keterampilan menulis puisi untuk tim MGMP Bahasa Indonesia tingkat SMA se-Pekanbaru. Kegiatan PkM ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada guru bagaimana cara menyusun rubrik penilaian keterampilan menulis puisi. Setelah dilakukan pendampingan, diperoleh simpulan bahwa penilaian keterampilan menulis puisi dapat dilakukan dengan memperhatikan keterampilan membentuk dua struktur yang membangun puisi. Kedua keterampilan itu adalah: (1) keterampilan membentuk struktur fisik puisi yang meliputi kemampuan menggunakan diksi, kemampuan dalam pengimajian, kemampuan menggunakan majas, kemampuan menggunakan rima dan kemampuan menggunakan tipografi; (2) keterampilan membentuk struktur batin puisi yang meliputi keterampilan mengungkapkan tema dan keterampilan mengungkapkan amanat. Dua keterampilan di atas dapat diturunkan dalam bentuk rubrik penilaian keterampilan menulis puisi yang bisa digunakan oleh para guru dalam menilai puisi yang ditulis oleh siswa. Besaran bobot untuk tiap-tiap indikator bervariasi tergantung pada tingkat kesulitan masing-masing.Kata kunci: keterampilan menulis puisi; struktur batin; struktur fisik
