Abstract

The drum brake is one of the brake systems on the back of the Suzuki Mega Carry. Drum brakes work due to friction between the drum and the brake pads. the calculation in this study aims to aspects of safety, strength and feasibility of brakes. The material used in this drum brake is asbestos printed on steel or cast iron with a coefficient of friction of 0.3 and the maximum pressure is 350-1000 Kpa. The calculation that has been planned is that the normal force on the rear wheels is 347.1 N. The acceleration price is 8.23 ​​m/???? 2 . The permissible frictional force on the asphalt is 104.13 N. The force generated from the brake pedal is 82.5 kgf. The upper drum brake spring is the maximum force of the spring with a diameter of 2 mm of spring wire and a spring diameter of 30 mm with a spring length of 106 mm is 82.45 N. The maximum spring force with a spring wire diameter of 1 mm and a spring diameter of 10 mm with a spring length of 106 mm is 80.8 N.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain the results of the Fresh Concrete Production Process at the Batching Plant Machine at PT Prima Beton Nusantara. Concrete production process at PT. The SBU Prima Beton is a production that is quite widely used by other PTs. From the report above, several conclusions can be drawn, namely: 1) The concrete production process using a batching plant machine is the thing that is most widely used by companies that make large amounts of concrete because of its efficiency. which is quite good and fast., 2) The stirring process is one of the main things in the process of making concrete., 3) The production process using the Batcing Plant Machine is enough to affect the quality of the concrete produced, 4) on the results of the compressive strength test, getting the greatest compressive strength in sample 2 with a compressive strength test for 28 days with a compressive strength result of 360.31 kg/cm2 or 102.95% of the standard required compressive strength value. Meanwhile, the lowest compressive strength value is found in sample 2 with a compressive strength test for 3 days with a compressive strength result of 176.68 kg/cm2 or 50.48% of the standard required compressive strength value.
