Abstract

Coronavirus disease 2019 or known as covid-19 has an impact on various sectors. Besides the health sector, one of the sectors most affected is the economic or financial sector. This can be seen from a number of business actors who close their businesses, including the SME business. This research was conducted to find out how some SMEs managing cash flow to maintain their businesses during the pandemic, especially SME. Therefore, this research was conducted using a case study approach with data collection techniques in the form of interviews with several SMEs. The informants selected in this study came from various business sectors. Among them in the field of bag production, convection, to the food sector. Most of the informants in this study experienced the effects of the co-19 pandemic. Some policies were decided by the informant. These policies such as reimbursement of fixed costs to variable costs, then change the focus of the business, then look for relationships in the immediate area, this policy is taken as a step to keep maintaining the business and amid uncertain conditions. Abstract

Marketing strategy is one way to win a sustainable competitive advantage for companies that produce goods or services. Marketing strategy can be seen as one of the bases used in compiling a company’s overall plan. In view of the breadth of the problems that exist within the company, it is necessary to have a comprehensive plan as a guide for the company’s segments in carrying out their activities, another reason that shows the importance of marketing strategy is the increasingly fierce competition in companies in general. This study has the aim of getting an overview of the marketing strategy to increase turnover, it is useful to overcome if there is a decrease in turnover and to find out how effective the implementation of the marketing strategy has been. This research was conducted at CV Putra Tanjung Nganjuk. Data collection techniques with documentation, interviews and observations, the type of descriptive research. The results of the analysis of the effectiveness of marketing strategies show an increase in total sales from year to year and serve as a reference for the effectiveness of marketing strategies in competition between companies

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to review how effective the online food delivery application is that is used to optimize MSME income in the culinary field, especially at Seblak Incezz Rejomulyo, Kediri City. Design/methodology/approach: This is a qualitative study that employs an analytical descriptive approach. The analytical-descriptive approach was chosen because it provides an explanation or elaboration regarding variable objects obtained from the data that has been collected. Findings: The use of online food delivery services is effective in optimizing sales volume at Seblak Incezz Rejomulyo, Kediri City. In the end, the more sales increase, the entity's income will also increase. Research limitations/implications: Only focus on one sector of SMEs, so the results cannot be compared with SMEs in other fields. Practical implications: This research shows that MSMEs need to adapt according to technological developments. This will eventually have an effect on the sustainability of MSMEs because it can increase sales and income for MSMEs. Originality/value: Seblak Incezz is one of the MSMEs in the culinary field in the city of Kediri, which is growing from year to year. Paper type: Research Paper

Abstract

The emergence of interesting content through Instagram accounts managed by a person or a certain group representing a family law is important to discuss. One of the discourses that appears in these contents is related to the advice of husband and wife in building their household, then brings up tips for husband and wife to pay attention to each other. The husband and wife can apply the contents which are posted on the instagram account to create a harmonious household life. This paper aims to see the narratives that appear in the posts of intagram accounts through a discourse analysis approach. This research data is focused on 3 Instagram accounts with a selection of many followers on the Instagram account. The 3 Instagram accounts are @suami.istri.bahagia, @nasihatsuamiistri, @suamiistriromantis. This research leads to Netnographic studies or digital-based research. Then, because the data obtained is in the form of written content narratives, pamphlets, and videos posted on Instagram, it will be analyzed using discourse theory. The results showed that the content of the program gave rise to two studies that represented family law. First, it relates to the husband's obligation to the wife and the wife's obligation to the husband by posting content in the form of advice for the husband and wife. Second, post content about parents' obligations to children by posting narratives in the form of tips and procedures. Furthermore, the author found that the problem that occurs in these Instagram accounts is the existence of gender bias, this means that posts that represent family law are more content intended for the Wife and their content reflects the business of selling Products.
