Abstract

The quality of Academic Information System Service (SIAKAD) which has been implemented by STIH Muhammadiyah Kotabumi has not been optimal as expected. In accordance with that, it was seen that there is incompatibility between the plan and the reality. An audit related to the maturity level of TI management on the implementation of SIAKAD STIH Muhammadiyah Kotabumi is important to be conducted in order to get the recomendation of service improvement. Evaluation was done through questionaire, interview and document of STIH Muhammadiyah Kotabumi. This research used COBIT 5 consisting of EDM 04, APO04, APO 07, BAI 04, DSS 01, dan MEA 01. The data source was gotten from the Head of STIH Muhammadiyah Kotabumi, the Head of administrations, the Head Communication Centre, TI Staff, and Academic Staff. An analysis was done by using descriptive interpretative based on COBIT 5.

Abstract

A good and smooth internet access is very beneficial for all parties especially during Covid-19 outbreak which afflicted around the world. It can helps to implement healthy protocol and to do activities from the house including working and studying. However, there are several places which have not been reached by the internet which therefore it needs internet networks. Point to point networks will be built in this research in order to give internet network services for the societies in Trimodadi, Abung Selatan District which has not been reached by optic fiber. This network was built by Metal Microtic 5 SHPN and 5.8 Ghz 30 dBi Grid Anthen as the point to point transmitter in location A which located in central Kotabumi meanwhile in location B which is located in Trimodadi, Abung Selatan District used Metal Microtic 5 SHPN.

Abstract

Wireless networks have been widely used for internet services in the business, banking, cafe, military, and education sectors as well as in educational institution such as University of Muhammadiyah Kotabumi. The internet facilities available on campus are used to serve lecturers, education staff and students in accessing the internet. Currently, various models of wireless network technology with the 802.11 standard have now been widely used, both with a frequency of 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, even computer and smartphone vendors have installed wireless network cards on their products to facilitate user mobility. However, in reality, especially in University of Muhammadiyah Kotabumi, the points of wifi have not been found in all locations.To make it easier to add wifi points, Wireless Distribution System (WDS) technology is used. WDS is a technology that receives signals and radiates back. WDS is used to optimize the use of network resources to cover the service area. Using WDS allows wireless network connection with multiple access points without having to use cables. All access points used for WDS must be configured using the same radio channel and encryption key. Based on the explanation above and looking at the problems that exist in the System and Technology Study Program, Universitas Muhammadiyah Kotabumi, the rsearcher conducted a research entitled Implementation and Analysis of Wireless Distribution System Networks at the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, Universitas Muhammadiyah Kotabumi. The computer network that has been implemented is monitored and analyzed. Monitoring and analyzing throughput, delay, and packet loss parameters of the connected WDS network, namely Access point 1, Access point 2, and Access point 3 using Axence Nettools. The measurement results after the WDS network has been implemented are obtained The throughput value is 85%, packet lost is 0.007456 and delay is 0.66ms. Based on the implementation and analysis carried out, it can be concluded that the results obtained meet user expectations by referring to the THIPON standard.

Abstract

The use of computer networks is increasingly growing, this causes the installation of network devices to be more and more diverse. With so many network devices installed, the risk of damage that occurs makes network administrators take a long time to detect the damage. To overcome this, it is possible to create a Telegram Bot for monitoring mikrotik and other devices connected to the networks. Mikrotik OS through script logic that is inputted through the features can inform network damage to network administrators. Telegram bot is a bot or robot that is programmed with various commands to carry out some instructions given by the user. By using bots, you can perform network management on Mikrotik, making it easier for a network administrator to work. This study aims to monitor network devices, send notification messages that enter the Telegram application to be able to find out the status of active and inactive users and devices.

Abstract

Persaingan dunia usaha yang ketat maka perusahaan harus pintar-pintar melihat peluang dan kebutuhan masyarakat, sehingga perusahaan mengeluarkan program Pembiayaan Ulang untuk para konsumen yang ingin menjaminkan kendaraannya dan pembayaran kendaraan tersebut dilakukan secara cicilan. Dalam penentuan pemberian Pembiayaan Ulang masih mengutamakan analisis karyawan yang diberi tugas dalam mensurvei kondisi konsumen yang akan mengajukan Pembiayaan Ulang pada FIF Group Kotabumi, sehingga dalam penentuan penerima kredit terkadang tidak objektif sehingga sering terjadi kredit macet yang menghambat perputaran uang pada FIF Group Kotabumi. Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) merupakan salah satu solusi perusahaan yang membantu melakukan pengambilan keputusan terhadap konsumen layak atau tidak layak menerima pembiayaan pembiayaan ulang. Dibutuhkan suatu metode perhitungan yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan dengan banyak kriteria. Salah satu metode perhitungan yang digunakan adalah Metode Technique for Others Refrences by Simillarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). Konsep dasar dari metode TOPSIS yang didasarkan pada konsep bahwa alternatif terbaik tidak hanya memiliki jarak terpendek dari solusi ideal positif tetapi juga memiliki jarak terjauh dari solusi ideal negatif. Hasil dari sistem pendukung keputusanyang dibangun ini dapat menghasilkan keputusan yang lebih objektif. Menghasilkan 6 nasabah diterima dan 4 nasabah ditolak yang dapat digunakan sebagai rekomendasi penentuan kepada PT. FIF Group Cabang Kotabumi.

Abstract

Server is a place to store data and information that is owned so that it can be accessed by anyone and connected workstations from anywhere. If the server room gets too hot or too humid, it can cause your server to not work properly.air with too high humidity can damage the hardware on the server, for example, equipment can cause a short circuit caused by rust. The ideal humidity level for a server room is between 40 and 50%. As the humidity level increases, the amount of water vapor in the air increases. This can cause changes in vapor to liquid, electronic devices cannot be exposed to water. Many mistakes that are often made by server owners are by placing temperature and humidity detection sensors in the room, the temperature detection sensor should be placed in the rack of each server at each rack level, which is positioned at the front and back of the rack. The device that is commonly used in making Internet of Things applications is Arduino, Arduino is used as a link between the internet and sensors so that data from these sensors can be accessed. via the internet to set the behavior of specific equipment. In this study, Arduino was used because Arduino is an opensource device, the programming language used is C language and the Python programming language can also be used. From the availability of the library, there are many libraries that are ready and easy to use. Temperature and humidity detection in this study uses a DHT 11 temperature and humidity sensor connected to an Arduino device that is connected to the internet via a local network.

Abstract

The Internet, and in particular the World Wide Web, is widely used by businesses, government agencies, corporations and individuals. Based on that fact internet service providers offer a lot of choices, and it can be confusing so we end up choosing the expensive one just to make sure we get the speed we need. All internet service providers must have interference, be it caused by the weather or broken cables and so on. The load balancing method can be used to send and receive internet access on a network through several gateways. When we subscribe to an internet connection with 2 ISPs load balancing can be used as a bandwidth balancer. The principles of load balancing remain the same in any environment, although circumstances and applications will differ. Internet service providers use a balancing strategy to handle fluctuating amounts of incoming internet traffic. Load balancing effectively minimizes server response time and maximizes throughput. The role of load balancing is sometimes likened to that of a traffic police, as it is meant to systematically direct requests to the right location at a given moment, thereby preventing costly congestion and unforeseen incidents. The load balancer must ultimately provide the performance and security needed to sustain complex IT environments, and the complex workflows that occur within them.

Abstract

Abstract : The progress in electronics is very significant. The concept of home automation systems has the potential to improve the living conditions of traditional homes. The aim is to provide convenience to the elderly and people with special needs. Our home automation system works effectively by providing clients with more personal happiness and comfort by using the automation system. Among the four popular wireless connections that will be implemented in this research is WIFI because the WIFI capabilities are more than enough to be implemented in the design. Also, most of the laptops/notebooks or Smartphones nowadays come with a built-in WIFI adapter. Indirectly will reduce the cost of this system. The research carried out has succeeded in making light and fan switching command displays using smartphones, tablet laptops can also use voice commands via Google Assistant. The results obtained are very responsive in receiving and responding to orders quickly and precisely.

Abstract

Abstract: Internet access is a major requirement for individuals and businesses, including coffee shops in today's digital era, MikroTik Hotspot provides features such as user authentication, bandwidth management, access restrictions, and internet usage monitoring. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of hotspot user authentication and management systems and to provide recommendations for improved performance and better usage. Proper implementation can improve the quality of internet services, customer satisfaction, and coffee shop operational productivity. In addition, this article also has the potential to improve network security and privacy protection. This research provides insights for the coffee shop industry in managing hotspot internet access and can be the best example in hotspot management practices. In the long term, this implementation can provide a competitive advantage, attract new customers, increase customer loyalty, and strengthen the business reputation of Legalita coffee shops. The research was conducted using the NDLC (Network Development Life Cycle) method. The conclusions of the research conducted are Effectiveness of Hotspot Management, Ease of Use and Administration, Secure User Authentication, Comprehensive Monitoring and Reporting, Satisfying User Experience

Abstract

Pertanian merupakan sektor yang vital bagi perekonomian dan keberlangsungan hidup suatu negara. Untuk meningkatkan sektor ini, teknologi otomatisasi dapat diterapkan dalam pemantauan dan pemeliharaan tanaman, termasuk dalam sistem irigasi. Irigasi tradisional sering kali sulit menghitung jumlah air yang tepat untuk tanaman, mengakibatkan pertumbuhan tanaman tidak optimal. Artikel ini membahas pengoperasian sistem irigasi otomatis yang memungkinkan petani mengairi dan mengontrol kelembaban tanah secara efisien untuk mengoptimalkan hasil panen. Sistem ini dapat dengan mudah dimodifikasi dan disesuaikan untuk berbagai aplikasi irigasi sehingga lebih user-friendly.Penggunaan air yang tidak tepat dalam pertanian telah menyebabkan kerugian finansial dan kualitas tanaman yang tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Untuk mencegah hal ini, penting untuk melakukan pemeliharaan hasil panen dan kualitasnya sebaik mungkin. Pekerjaan ini dipilih karena Indonesia memiliki fokus besar pada pertanian dan tingkat penurunan sumber daya air yang mengkhawatirkan, sehingga diperlukan metode irigasi yang pintar dan efisien. Dalam proyek ini, kami menggunakan sensor kelembaban tanah untuk mendeteksi kelembaban di ladang pertanian dan mengirimkan air ke area yang membutuhkan.Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa alat penyiraman tanaman ini mampu memantau suhu, kelembaban tanah, dan kelembaban udara dengan tingkat error pembacaan sensor sebesar 2%. Alat ini dapat melakukan penyiraman pada pukul 08.00 pagi dan pukul 16.00 sore dengan syarat kelembaban tanah di bawah 70%. Data monitoring dapat diakses jika kedua perangkat terhubung ke jaringan internet, namun sistem pengontrolannya tetap berjalan meskipun tidak terhubung ke jaringan internet.
