Abstract

Improve the quality of education services with the contribution of information systems, operational utility and business support for the organizatio. Information systems and information technology are applied in various teaching and learning process activities in an educational institution not something that is complementary and additional, but rather a need to improve the process and results of the implementation of education carried out by higher education, because it is necessary to manage this information by building a Information Systems (IS) and supported by well lanned Information Technology (IT) so that it becomes an added value for institutionin increasing competitiveness. The Ward and Peppard method is a form of strategic planning for information systems in an organization/company. With this method, various factors that arise in the organization, both internal and external, are analyzed as such to obtain a new strategy. The research was conducted at Universitas Muhammadiyah Kotabumi, data collection was carried out by conducting interviews, observing and studying documents. The results of this study are a strategic plan that can be embodied in a portfolio that can be used as a reference for planning information systems at Universitas Muhammadiyah Kotabumi

Abstract

Lighting is a device that is in a house or building that has a function as lighting. The lamp works in the presence of a power source by using a switch to turn it on or off. The problem that often occurs in controlling the lights manually is the difficulty in controlling the lights in remote rooms with a large number of rooms and lights so that the control system is not effective and efficient. Today, Internet of Things has become a popular term to describe a scenario where Internet connectivity and computing capabilities extend to a wide variety of objects, devices, sensors, and everyday items. In this design using this control is done wirelessly via a bluetooth module as a communication medium. To turn on the light, the android smartphone will send a command to the Arduino microcontroller via Bluetooth communication so that the light will turn on according to the command from the Android smartphone. One of the methods used is the Prototype Method which serves as an initial version of the system. After testing, the process of sending and receiving data on the light on-off command is able to work at a distance of approximately 10 meters. With these results, controlling an Android smartphone can be used as a control for lighting lights in a house wirelessly with a distance of approximately 10 meters..

Abstract

Abstrak: Teknologi informasi ialah bagian dari suatu sistem yang selalu bertumbuh sesuai dengan keperluan. Penggunaannya dalam kehidupan tiap hari menunjang bermacam peranan manusia, serta mempermudah seluruh kegiatan untuk semua pemakainya. Sistem merupakan suatu himpunan yang sama- sama berkaitan untuk mewujudkan satu kesatuan yang utuh. Sistem mengelola seluruh entitas dalam organisasi. Dengan terdapatnya sistem seluruh profesi bisa dikelola dengan baik, dengan begitu tata kelola jadi sangat berguna sebagai bagian dari manajemen sistem. Tata kelola TI ialah bagian dari tanggung jawab untuk membuat suatu gagasan atau ketentuan dalam sebuah perusahaan yang akan mendorong penggunaan teknologi informasi secara kontinu. Dalam penyusunan ini, kerangka kerja yang dipakai adalah COBIT 5 sebagai prosedur riset. COBIT 5 memakai prinsip, penerapan, perlengkapan, serta model analitis yang mengkombinasikan inovasi terkini dalam manajemen perusahaan serta teknologi manajemen, yang mempunyai standar kelas dunia guna menunjang peningkatkan kepercayaan serta nilai sistem informasi. Universitas Muhammadiyah Kotabumi sekarang belum mengaplikasikan tata kelola dengan memanfaatkan COBIT 5 pada sistem yang ada saat ini. Tujuan penggunaan COBIT 5 dalam riset ini yaitu untuk memberikan hasil berupa penyusunan prasarana TI yang bisa membantu meningkatkan, menentukan nilai kapasitas sistem dalam organisasi, serta mewujudkan sistem di UMKO lebih maksimal dalam penggunaannya, dan bisa menjadi inovasi untuk kedepannya, penggunaan COBIT 5 akan menyempurnakan sistem serta menunjang Universitas Muhammadiyah Kotabumi mencapai visi serta misinya.

Abstract

Abstract : The progress in electronics is very significant. The concept of home automation systems has the potential to improve the living conditions of traditional homes. The aim is to provide convenience to the elderly and people with special needs. Our home automation system works effectively by providing clients with more personal happiness and comfort by using the automation system. Among the four popular wireless connections that will be implemented in this research is WIFI because the WIFI capabilities are more than enough to be implemented in the design. Also, most of the laptops/notebooks or Smartphones nowadays come with a built-in WIFI adapter. Indirectly will reduce the cost of this system. The research carried out has succeeded in making light and fan switching command displays using smartphones, tablet laptops can also use voice commands via Google Assistant. The results obtained are very responsive in receiving and responding to orders quickly and precisely.
