Abstract

Success is not only desired and owned by people who are able, but those who cannot afford,even want to have it. For someone who is born from unrich people, having success thing is a pricelesshappiness. It is felt by Julianto Eka Putra who is growing in a regular neighborhood. Julianto EkaPutra initiated and motivated to make the VISION 2010 program with the aim is to establish freeschool and a charitable foundation that dedicated himself to help orphans in Indonesia who cannotafford to continue their study to high school education. The purpose of this study is to determine theeffect of Julianto Eka Putra’s self-concept on the students of Selamat Pagi Indonesia’s High SchoolBatu-Malang. The result of the first hypothesis reads the suspect classification and purpose of theinterpersonal communication affects the self-concept, is acceptable because of the calculation it tcount (1,944) > t table (1,667), second hypothesis is assumed to be accepted because of theeffectiveness of interpersonal communication is known that t count (4,335) > t table (1,667), thismeans that the independent variable X1 (classification and interpersonal communication objective)and X2 (interpersonal communication effectiveness) significantly affects the self concept of JuliantoEka Putra.Keywords: Classification and Interpersonal Communication Objective, Interpersonal CommunicationEffectiveness, Self Concept

Abstract

Implementation of Prima Services on Representative Account (AR) in KPP Pratama Wonocolo Surabaya. Account Representative is the officer in charge at the Pratama Tax Office, which has already applied modern administrative system. This research aims to gain an overview of the characteristics of excellent service implementation at the KPP Pratama Surabaya Wonocolo. The implementation of excellent especially by officials Account Representative (AR) departmend of supervision and and consultation. The data were obtained from observations and interviews with relevant parties, especially AR department of supervision and consultation at the KPP Pratama Surabaya Wonocolo and the taxpayer. The results of the interviews and the data collected were analyzed using descriptive method with interpretive approach. Results from the research showed that in general the officials Accounting Representative (AR) of KPP Pratama Surabaya Wonocolo indicates excellent service with good implementation, the overview of the implementation of service excellence at the KPP pratama Surabaya Wonocolo was shown with attitudes approach related to care, efforts to serve with the best act that is based on ability, attitude, attention, appearance, actions, and responsibilities. To support these actions must be supported by integrity, professionalism (accountability and commitment), synergy, services (sincerity and transparency) and ethical code. Meanwhile, to achieve the objective of satisfaction was shown with some of the responses from taxpayer in general. Keywords : implementation, Accounting Representative, excellent service

Abstract

Handsome-handsome Wolf is a soap opera that aired ditelevisi teenage drama theprivate SCTV, which aims to provide entertainment for the community particularly theadolescents-the adolescentsAuthors interested in taking the title "influence Impressionssoap opera Handsome-handsome Wolves Against the image of SCTV communicationstudies and POLITICAL SCIENCE Student Among Untag Surabaya." The variables usedin this research is variable telenovela handsome-handsome Wolf (variable X) with twoindicators measuring levels of audience attention, namely against soap opera ganteng –ganteng serigala and the measurement of audience acceptance level against soap operahandsome-handsome Wolf. And image among students FROM SCTV communicationsciences Untag Surabaya (variable Y) with 4 indicator that is based on the 4 componentsof perception, cognition, motivation and attitude. Analysis of the results obtained from theconclusion that the research results are significant, which results from the calculation ofSPSS Output it can be concluded that the correlation between variables X and Yvariables have values that can be found on the 0.571 had a strong correlation, and basedon the test results showed significance values 0.000 which means the Association of thesetwo variables is significant.Keyword :Telenovela ganteng – ganteng serigala, Image SCTV

Abstract

It can be seen from the respondents that many argue thatthe Freedom of Information Law is good enough, but there is also a state well and there are states lessgood. Abstract

Judging from the problems of street children in big cities in Indonesia more particularly in Surabaya, the purpose of this study is to know the level of effectiveness of providing shelter for street children in Surabaya City with a case study of a stopover house Alang-Alang. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with the type of case study. Primary data obtained through observation and in-depth interview, while secondary data obtained through documentation. Based on the result of field research, the lessons given by the houses of gallery houses tostreet children have not achieved the effectiveness measures that include production, efficiency, satisfaction, and development. Effectiveness means the right target and meet the overall target objectives. Inadequate facilities, inadequate facilities and insufficient funds to meet household needs. The participation of the government and the community to continue to support shelter for street children is needed for street children to learn can reduce the number of children working on the streets. Abstract

The objective of this research is to evaluate the implementation policy of Surabaya government related to non-smoking area In accordance with the Mayor of Surabaya Regulation No. 25 of 2009 on the Implementation of Local Regulation of Surabaya City Number 5 Year 2008 About Non Smoking Area at RSU Haji. This research used qualitative descriptive using three informants comprises two visitors of RSU Haji and one staff of RSU Haji. The technique of data collections used in this research is observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study explain that the evaluation of the policy as a functional activity conducted by the researcher states that the functional implementation of the Surabaya City government policy related to non-smoking areas at the RSU Haji functionally has succeeded. Evaluations focused on policy have also been undertaken by the researcher and he/she found that the implementation of the smoking policy in RSU Haji area has been implemented inaccordance with the provisions. As well as, systematic policy evaluation conducted by the researcher stated that the policy has been running in accordance with provisions and running without any obstacles.Keywords: public policy, policy evaluation, RSU Haji, No-Smoking area

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran visual terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Mempawah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 32 orang siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran dalam kategori baik dengan nilai rata-rata jawaban angket sebesar 3,24 dan hasil belajar siswa dalam kategori sangat baik berdasarkan nilai rata-rata ulangan harian siswa sebesar 79 yang sudah mencapai batas nilai KKM. Sedangkan berdasarkan analisis harga koefisien determinasi simultan (R2) diperoleh angka yang signifikan yaitu 0,578 atau 57,8%. Dengan demikian, hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: adanya pengaruh positif antara penggunaan media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Mempawah yang dapat dikategorikan cukup tinggi. Kata Kunci : Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran, Hasil Belajar Abstract: This study This study aims to determine the effect of the use of visual learning media on student learning outcomes in economic subjects in class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Mempawah. The research method used is descriptive method. The population in this study were as many as 32 students. The result of data analysis shows that the use of learning media in both categories with the average answer questionnaire value of 3.24 and student learning outcomes in very good category based on the average daily test score of 79 students who have reached the limit of KKM values. While based on the simultaneous analysis of coefficient of determination (R2) obtained a significant figure is 0.578 or 57.8%. Thus, the results of this study show that: the positive influence of the use of learning media on student learning outcomes on economic subjects in class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Mempawah that can be considered quite high. Keywords: Use of instructional media, Learning outcomes.

Abstract

The retention basin at the Faculty of Engineering Gadjah Mada University was built as a flooding control into the Code river and improving the water quality. The water entering the basin, especially in the dry season, is characterized as greywater due to the dense settlements around the university. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of reaeration process using a Microbubble Generator (MBG) to increase DO, with the aim of this leading to an improved water quality. The MBG aerator with submersible pumps was installed at a depth of 40 cm from the water surface and placed in the middle of the pond. The aerator was permanently turned on. In situ monitoring of DO was carried out using a seri Lutron WA-2017SD DO meter. The increasing DO correlated with the changes of the surrounding weather which impact on water and air temperature. At the time of DO data collection, the water temperature ranged from 24.5oC - 27oC and the change in DO measured at the inlet and outlet of the reservoir was in the range 0.3 - 1.1 mg/l, with the DO directly surrounding the aerator reaching up to 2.4 mg/l from the inlet. With the DO increased, the concentration of pollutant organic loads can be reduced and the nitritation and nitratation processes has taken place properly so that it has reduced the pollutant load before the water enters the Code river.

Abstract

City branding merupakan salah satu strategi pemasaran kota dengan menggunakan sebuah identitas atau logo yang spesifik dengan tujuan untuk membangun sebuah value (nilai) dan meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan. Dalam hal ini Kabupaten Lumajang merupakan salah satu kota yang mempunyai banyak sektor pariwisata. Kegiatan pemasaran dan promosi dilakukan melalui banyak program salah satunya festival tahunan Loemadjang Mbiyen yang diselenggarakan oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Lumajang Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Kriteria informan dilakukan berdasarkan Kajian teori 4 Step PR dan Konsep Strategi City Branding Andrea Insch yakni dari Sekretariat Disparbud serta dari Kepala Bidang Pemasaran Kepariwisataan Disparbud. Teknik wawancara yang dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam (indepth interview) dan observasi serta dokumentasi melalui festival Loemadjang Mbiyen. Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa strategi yang digunakan melalui stretegi city branding masih belum terlaksana seutuhnya hanya menggunakan tiga tahapan dari keempat tahap implemetasi yang dikemukakan yaitu identity, objectivity, dan communication. Dalam tahap coherence Pemerintah Kabupaten Lumajang masih belum bisa dilakukan karena belum disahkannya city branding baru yaitu Lumajang Eksotik.Kata Kunci: City branding, identitas, festival, strategi city branding
