Abstract

The quality of leadership is something that is very important for everyone to have. Like the leadership that happened to the Prophet Muhammad, the leadership trait possessed by the Prophet is one of the very good qualities. This study aims to determine the concept of educational leadership in the perspective of Muhammadiyah. The method used is Library Research (Library) with a qualitative approach. This technique is used to collect in-depth information and data by going through various literatures, documents or magazines related to the problems that occur. The literature study method aims to describe to the reader about the topic being researched. This Muhammadiyah focuses that human leadership is a responsibility that basically must be considered by humans themselves. The human position as a leader has been provided with various kinds of potential so that it will produce the goals that have been outlined in creation.

Abstract

Leadership is an ability that everyone needs to have. The existence of this research on Islamic education leadership aims to reveal the urgency of leadership in Islamic education. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method. The approach used in this research is the library research approach or library method. Education is a person's ability to regulate, move, influence, motivate and direct people who are members of educational institutions so that the implementation of education can run more effectively and efficiently. Leadership in Islamic educational institutions is very important for achieving an educational goal. Because without leadership in educational institutions, the process of implementing education will not run as it should. To achieve this, a leader in an educational institution must have characteristic leadership and is also proficient in self-management that is adapted to his environment. It can be said that a good leader in an educational institution, of course, must master these two things.
