Abstract

The objectives of this research are to analize factors that influence households demand for water from PDAM Kota Surakarta and to analize relationship between water from PDAM Kota Surakarta with distillate water. Employing double-log linier multiple regression it was found that households demand for water from PDAM Kota Surakarta was influenced by the price of water from PDAM Kota Surakarta, the price of distillate water, the households income and number of households family members. Also it was found that the relationship between water from PDAM Kota Surakarta with distillate water is substitution. The positive cross price elasticity indicated the substitution. The households income elasticity, the dominance of households income and the positive relation between number of households family members and households demand for water from PDAM Kota Surakarta, however, indicated the complementary relationship between water from PDAM with distillate water.

Abstract

The research examined the impact corporate culture  toward performance of work in the PDAM Surakarta.  The objective of research was to analyze whether the variable of worker behavioral attributes model of corporate culture consisting of innovation, attention to detail, outcome orientation, people orientation, team orientation, agresivenes and stability significanly affecting the work motivation.  The sampling as many as 73 persons was taken by using case study method. They comprised the workers and managers whose different departement. From the 82 persons taken as samples through questioner sheets,  75 quistioner sheets were returned but one of  them was damaged. Therefore, there wereonly 73 quistioner sheets which were valid to be analyzed. The result of regression analysis by using the instrument called the program SPSS version 11.50 showed that attention to detail, outcome orientation, team orientation and stability have significant influence toward the followers’ performance.   Whereas the others variable  such as innovation, negative emotion, intervence, faulty attribution, disagreement have effect positively  toward the work of motivation. Whereas the behaviors such as  innovation, people orientation have no significant influence toward the  followers’ performance in PDAM Surakarta.

Abstract

This research is to understand and to analyze the influence of good corporate governance and leverage toward financial performance on Manufacture Corporation registered in BEI year 2012-2013, both partially and simultaneously. Indicator used to explain good corporate governance in this research is including board of directors, independent directors and audit committee.Analysis method used in this research is doubled-linier regression in accordance to the purpose of this research which is to analyze the influence of independent variable toward dependent variable. Sample used in this research is all Manufacture Corporations registered in BEI year 2012-2013. The determination of sample is using purposive sampling. By using this method, it acquired 92 corporations that will be used as the sample in this research. The result of hypothesis test in this research shows that board of director do not affect significantly toward financial performance. Independent director significantly has negative impact toward financial performance. Audit committee significantly has positive impact toward financial performance. Leverage significantly has negative impact toward financial performance.

Abstract

Three different studies have discussed regulations ofthe assessment of user satisfaction levelswith terminal services. Based on the assumption that the terminal attributes derived from regulations are accurate, this study aims to analyze the content of the regulations, compare them, and analyzeterminal user satisfaction as assessed by previous studies. Content analysis of the literature is conducted. The results reveal that among the user satisfaction survey regulations from the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Regulations of 16/2014 and 25/2004 and the service standard regulations from the Minister of Transportation Regulation of 40/2015, the most feasible regulation for the assessment of user satisfaction is the Minister of Transportation Regulation of 40/2015. This regulation does not regulate satisfaction assessment but can be used as a basis for assessments of user satisfaction with terminal services. All of the stipulated service standards can be classified as accurate terminal service attributes. Therefore, improvements can be made by including a requirement for satisfaction assessments. Through the incorporation of the service quality concept, such improvement could establish this regulation as a basis for reputable studies of satisfaction assessments. Another result reveals that the literature on the assessment of terminal user satisfaction based on the Minister of Transportation Regulation of 40/2015 reports that users are satisfiedwith the terminal attributes of reliability, convenience, affordability and equity, but they are unsatisfied with the attributes ofsafety and security. Thus,terminals should implement maximal regulation of service standards. Assurance of terminal securitycould increase user satisfaction.

Abstract

Riset produk pangan sehat menarik diteliti karena sejumlah risetmenunjukan hasil yang beragam. Selain itu, pertimbangan aspekkesehatan dan kesadaran kolektif terhadap gaya hidup juga tidakbisa terlepas dari pertimbangan urgensi riset produk pangan sehat.Tujuan riset ini adalah untuk mengetahui daya tarik faktor niat beliproduk pangan sehat di kalangan generasi milenial atau generasidotcom dengan menggunakan analisis regresi melibatkan respondenmahasiswa PTS X berjumlah 100 orang melalui teknik randomsampling. Hasil riset menunjukan ada sejumlah faktor yang menjadipertimbangan niat beli produk pangan sehat sehingga temuan inibisa menjadi acuan untuk strategi pemasaran. Keterbatasan dan jugasaran riset lanjutan disampaikan sebagai upaya untuk membangunmodel riset niat beli produk pangan sehat

Abstract

Pangan sehat merupakan kebutuhan dan kompleksitas yang ada diera kekinian menjadi persolan dibalik tuntutan pemenuhan pangansehat. Terkait ini, riset tentang persepsian pangan sehat tidak hanyamengacu pendalaman teoritis tetapi juga kepentingan praktis. Tujuanriset ini untuk mengidentifikasi persepsian kaum milenial terhadapkonsumsi pangan sehat yang dilakukan dengan FGD - Focus GroupDiscussion yang melibatkan 20 generasi milenial yang diwakili olehmahasiswa dari PTS terbesar di Jawa Tengah. Hasil dari penelitianmenunjukan adanya sejumlah faktor sebagai identifikasi daya tarikdari pangan sehat sehingga temuan ini menjadi acuan bagi pemasardan distributor untuk dapat menciptakan produk pangan sehat sesuaipersepsian konsumen dan mendukung distribusinya secara merata

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan dasar pembuatan laporan keuangan bagi pelaku UKM di Desa Girilayu, Matesih, Karanganyar. Pembuatan laporan keuangan yang baik penting sekali untuk dikuasai oleh pelaku UKM agar dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui perkembangan usaha dari waktu ke waktu. Pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan pada tanggal 19 Februari 2020 melalui penyuluhan dan pendampingan. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaku UKM di Desa Girilayu sudah dapat membuat laporan keuangan meskipun dalam bentuk sederhana.

Abstract

Yang menjadi pokok permasalahan dalam penelitian ini,yaituapakah ada pengaruh signifikan gaya hidup wanita modern terhadap polakonsumsi kosmetik?”.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji gaya hidup wanitamodern dan pengaruhnya terhadap pola konsumsi kosmetik di kotaSurakarta. Variabel gaya hidup wanita modern (diukur dengan tingkatharga kosmetik, frekuensi pemakaian kosmetik, dan macam kosmetik)mempunyai pengaruh yang sangat signifikan terhadap pola konsumsikosmetiki. Hal ini dapat diketahui dari koefisien determinasi (R2) sangattinggi (81,5%), F-hitung = 141,407 > F-tabel = 2,76, berarti menolak Ho danmenerima Ha, serta p untuk X1 < 0,05, p untuk X2 < 0,01, dan p untuk X3 <0,01.Secara parsial (r2 ), tingkat harga kosmetik merupakan variabelyang paling besar pengaruhnya dalam menentukan permintaan konsumsikosmetik. Setiap penurunan 1% harga kosmetik dapat menaikkanpermintaan konsumsi kosmetik sebesar 0,891 (merupakan barang inferior),sedang setiap kenaikan 1% frekuensi pemakianan kosmetik dapatmenaikkan permintaan kosmetik 0,753, dan setiap kenaikan 1% pemakaianmacam kosmetik dapat menaikkan permintaan konsumsi kosmetik sebesar0,188.Melalui uji autokorelasi, multikolinearitas, dan heteroskedastisitasdiperoleh hasil bahwa, secara total tidak ada perbedaan nyata (p>0,05).Model pengaruh gaya hidup wanita modern (tingkat harga kosmetik,frekuensi pemakaian kosmetik, dan pemakaian macam kosmeti) terhadappola konsumsi kosmetik dalam bentuk persamaan regresi linear bergandadapat digunakan untuk menguji signifikansi atau keberartian pengaruhvariabel bebas terhadap variabel tergantungnya.

Abstract

Research on the consumption of healthy food products is interesting because it is influenced by many factors. The respondents of this research involved 100 students of FEB UMS with the assumption that they are technology literate, the millennial generation, care about health, and have closeness to the intention to buy healthy food products. Hypothesis testing in this research uses regression analysis and the results show that attitude and behavioral control have a positive effect on purchase intention of healthy food products although subjective norms have no effect. The limitations of research findings become a reference for the development of further research
