Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Transformational Leadership, Compensation, Organizational Culture on Employee Performance mediated by Job Satisfaction. The data used in this study is primary data taken through the distribution of questionnaires using a purposive sampling method involving employees of the television industry in the MNC group as many as 200 respondents. The analytical tool in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS version 21. The results of this study found that Transformational Leadership, Compensation, Organizational Culture have an influence on Employee Performance and also on Job Satisfaction. In the next result, Job Satisfaction can mediate Transformational Leadership on Employee Performance, Compensation on Employee Performance and Organizational Culture on Employee Performance. From the results of this study, it is suggested to the manager to maintain the level of Employee Performance by increasing the leadership spirit and creating a healthy organization accompanied by employee welfare, so that employees will feel satisfied in carrying out their work.

Abstract

Human Resources plays an important role in Government agencies. The Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta is trying to improve the knowledge and talents of employees with budget funds allocated for training, development, and significant improvements in both the administration and service fields to maximize the performance of Civil Servants.Objective: This study aims to analyze the effect of authentic leadership and work engagement on job performance, and High Performance Human Resource (HPHR) practices as variables that mediate the relationship between authentic leadership and work engagement on job performance.Methodology: The method used in this study is a quantitative method, using survey research with employees of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government as the object of research. Data collection which was used is the cross-sectional method by distributing questionnaires. The research sample was selected using the purposive sampling method in order to obtain 205 respondents. The data analysis method used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 21 software. Results from the previous study were considered by adding work engagement variables in determining strategies to improve job performance.Findings: The results of this study provide information on authentic leadership participation, it will improve job performance and HPHR Practices, as well as increase an employee's attachment to work, also the more HPHR Practices and job performance will increase in the organization.Conclusion: Structuralists are expected to improve authentic leadership, especially from an internalized moral perspective, to produce ethical and transparent behavior. Civil servants need to increase work engagement, especially in the absorption aspect where employees need to concentrate fully when working in the office, develop deep interest, and willingness so that they feel bound to their work. To achieve this, a positive work environment is needed. As a result, employees feel comfortable, safe, and enthusiastic when working.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh supervisor support dan work life balance terhadap turnover intention dimediasi oleh work engagement. Purposive sampling merupakan teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menentukan kriteria tertentu. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah dua ratus pegawai pada perusahaan media lokal di Indonesia Timur yang sudah terdaftar di dewan pers, yaitu indotimur.com, terasmaluku.com, komunikasulut.com, fajar.co.id, dan seputarpapua.com sebagai obyek penelitian. Analisis model persamaan struktural dengan dan hipotesis diuji dengan menggunakan AMOS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh negatif supervisor support dan work life balance terhadap turnover intention dimediasi oleh work engagement. Implikasi dalam penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa untuk menciptakan kemampuan pegawai untuk mengatur waktu dengan baik atau dapat menyelaraskan antara pekerjaan di tempat kerja, kehidupan dalam keluarga, dan kepentingan pribadi. Pegawai dapat menjaga keseimbangan antara peran dan tanggungjawab di dalam kehidupan keluarga dengan kemampuan karyawan bekerja di perusahaan.  Kata Kunci: Supervisor Support, Work Life Balance, Work Engagement, Turnover Intention, Perusahaan Media Lokal, Indonesia Timur.

Abstract

Teachers, school principals, and heads of foundations will help create change toward achieving school reform. Change can start by fostering creativity, in this case, through social media. The use of social media needs to be understood from an early age. Knowledge and ability to use social media can be trained starting from junior high school level. Especially for schools that aim to produce entrepreneurs. Students can hone and channel their creative ideas through social media, such as making videos, photos, writing, etc. On YouTube, students can channel their creative ideas to make videos. Students can channel their creative ideas on Instagram by writing photos and even videos. Students can also use other applications on social media. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to provide educational assistance students need at the Islamic Entrepreneurship Boarding School, Global Cahaya Nubuwah Insani Foundation - Purwakarta. Education is provided in the form of business leadership counseling and the use of social media, which would not be realized without the support of teachers, school principals, and foundations.
