Abstract

PDAM XYZ is one of the Regional Owned Enterprises that is engaged in drinking water services, this of course consumers need employees who have the ability to communicate, honesty, cooperation, be alert in doing their jobs and accompanied by a work discipline attitude so that their performance becomes optimal. The company experienced several employee problems, namely employee discipline and performance. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of work discipline on employee performance. The methodology used in this study is a qualitative method, namely by comparing facts and theories. the results of the research conducted, the direction of the regression coefficient of the work discipline variable affecting employee performance is 0.616 with a positive direction assuming other variables are constant. It can be concluded that the significance level of 5% work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and based on the results of hypothesis testing regarding performance employees, the results obtained that work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance at PDAM XYZ.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the plastic material industry, this company strives to continue to meet product quality by predetermined specifications. The company experienced problems in the production of defective products. The goal is to reduce the level of product defects in packaged jar products. The method used is the Taguchi method. The results of quality control show that there is a decrease in the resulting Quality Loss Function (QLF), which is Rp. 109. 308.492 / year to Rp. 25,259,040/year, so there is a decrease of Rp. 7,004,121 /month or Rp. 84,049,452 /year.

Abstract

Jayatech Palmindo adalah suatu perusahaan industri manufaktur yang bererak di bidang pembuatan dan perbaikan mesin-mesin produksi pada pabrik kelapa sawit (PKS). Perusahan ini dinilai sangat membantu dalam hal pemenuhan kebutuhan akan mesin-mesin produksi yang digunakan pada industri kelapa sawit. Di perusahaan ini pengukuran produktivitas belum pernah dilakukan sehingga tidak mengetahui gambaran keadaan produktivitas perusahaan. Analisa produktivitas ini perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui keadaan produktivitas perusahaan. Metode yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini ialah objective matrix. Objective matrix adalah salah satu model pengukuran produktivitas yang sangat umum digunakan. Metode OMAX merupakan salah satu metode pengukuran produktivitas yang dilakukan secara kuantitatif dan obyektif. Pada dasarnya, konsep OMAX adalah menggabungkan sebagian kriteria kinerja kelompok kerja ke dalam suatu matriks pengukuran produktivitas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tingkat produktivitas perusahaan sangat fluktuatif, kenaikan terjadi pada bulan september sebesar 1,546, maret 0,427, desember sebesar 0,202, april sebesar 0,136, mei sebesar 0,041, kemudian terjadi penurunan indeks performansi pada bulan februari sebesar -0,25, januari sebesar -0,224, oktober sebesar -0,203, november -0,182, agustus sebesar -0,171, juli sebesar 0,041, juni -0,039. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa masih ada tingkat produktivitas yang dibawah standar, perusahaan perlu melakukan pengukuran setiap 1 tahun sekali agar dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi dan perbaikan di divisi produksi.

Abstract

The milling process is one of the essential techniques in the manufacturing industry used to produce components using milling machines. For engineering or manufacturing science students, understanding the milling process is relevant and valuable. The milling process is commonly used in various industrial sectors, including automotive, aircraft, energy, etc. Understanding the basic principles and techniques of the milling process will provide a solid foundation for students to develop careers in these various industries. The milling process involves the use of a milling machine. Students skilled in operating these machines will have a competitive advantage in the world of work. They will be able to contribute to product development, tool design, and efficient manufacturing processes. Students will learn how to read and understand technical drawings, choose the right cutting tools, as well as workpiece measurement techniques prior to the milling process. This capability will broaden their understanding of product engineering and design. The results of the training showed that almost all students were able to perform basic techniques in the milling process, as evidenced by their ability to produce products according to the technical drawings provided.

Abstract

This training aims to provide students with understanding and practical skills in making wrenches using bench work techniques. A Wrench is a tool used in various industrial and mechanical work, essential in tightening and loosening bolts and nuts. Through this training, students will be introduced to the basic principles of bench work techniques, including hand tools and an understanding of the materials used. The workshop will emphasize practical processes, from reading technical drawings to the final finishing stages. Students will receive instructor guidance in bench work and manufacturing techniques, enabling them to develop valuable hands-on skills in a manufacturing environment. By attending this training, students are expected to be able to apply the learning of the manufacturing process in actual practice. The training results show that all students can complete the products given even though there are still weaknesses, such as less accurate and precise products, because students do not have sufficient experience in hand skills and the use of simple bench work tools.
