Abstract

Abstract. The independence of a child is essentially not singular but plural. That is, a person is said to be independent not only seen from one aspect alone, but also from other aspects such as physical, social, emotional, moral where independence is the gateway to one's maturity. Being an adult means not only growing and developing physically, but also being mature emotionally, morally, and mentally. The application of independence that is applied in Barokatul Ihsan Kindergarten uses the habituation method. That is doing by repeating an activity until the child can do it himself. There are several indicators of independence that are examined at Barokatul Ihsan Kindergarten, namely doing simple activities, being confident, willing to share, controlling emotions, adjusting to the environment, being disciplined, being responsible. The results of this study show that independence in early childhood through the habituation method is quite effective in developing independence in early childhood. With several stages, namely, 1.the child is told the rules that can be done and cannot be done, 2. the child is assisted and given examples continuously until the child understands and can do well. 3. The child is guided and directed continuously so that the child is able to do it himself without the help of the teacher again, 4. Provide motivation and reward when the child is successful. The thing to note when developing children's independence is that children's development needs patience with children, because when applying the independence of teachers to various children's characters, parents are too fond of children and when children do activities it takes a little longer because children are in the learning process. Abstrak. Kemandirian seorang anak pada hakikatnya tidak bersifat tunggal tetapi jamak. Artinya, seseorang dikatakan mandiri tidak hanya dilihat dari satu aspek semata, tetapi juga dari aspek lain seperti fisik, sosial, emosional, moral dimana kemandirian merupakan pintu gerbang menuju kedewasaan seseorang. Menjadi dewasa artinya tidak sekedar tumbuh dan berkembang secara fisik, tetapi juga menjadi matang secara emosional, moral, dan juga mental. Penerapan kemadirian yang di terapkan di TK Barokatul Ihsan menggunkan metode pembiasaan. Yaitu melakukan dengan mengulan ulang suatu kegiatan sampai anak bisa melakukan sendiri. Ada beberapa indikator kemandirian yang di teliti di Tk Barokatul Ihsan, yaitu melakukan aktivitas sederhana, percaya diri, mau berbagi, mengedalikan emosi, menyesuaikan diri dengan lingkungan, disiplin, bertanggung jawab. Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa kemandirian pada anak usia dini melaui metode pembiasaan cukup efektik dalam pengembangan kemandirian pada anak usia dini. Dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu,1. Anak diberitahu aturan-aturan yang boleh di lakukan dan tidak boleh di lakukan, 2.anak dibantu dan diberi contoh secara terus-menerus hingga anak mengerti dan bisa melakukan dengan baik. 3.Anak dibimbing dan di arahkan secara terus menerus sehingga anak mampu melakukan sendiri tanpa bantuan ibu guru lagi, 4.Memberikan motivasi dan reward ketika nak ketika anak berhasil. Hal yang di perhatikan ketika pengembagan kemandirian anak bahwa perkembangan anak perlu kesabaran terhadap anak, karena ketika penerapan kemandirian guru akan berbagai karakter anak sedang pada orang tua terlalu sayang terhadap anak dan ketika anak melakukan kegiatan memerlukan waktu yang sedikit lama karena anak sedang proses belajar.
