Abstract

In the political policy of the village, there has been a systematic uniformity through the laws and regulations. The enactment of the Law on Villages was followed by other regulations. With the enactment of Law No. 6/2014 on Villages, it has given new hope to build more independent villages. For example, 70 percent of village funds are allocated for development, and no more than 30 percent of other operations. Village funds are used by the village government based on the mandate of the law to be effective. This is in accordance with the goals and plans that have been set at the village meeting. For this reason, a study of the effectiveness of the legislation on village funds is very important. Based on the problems above, this study analyzes the effectiveness of the legislation on village funds on funding governance in villages for the advancement of rural communities. The research method used is juridical. Data analysis is described. In conclusion, the legislation on village funds is no longer effective, because it does not show the level of success that has been set, and the results of its activities are not in accordance with its objectives. Although it has been arranged, it is not yet perfect.

The phenomenon of artists entering the world of politics or becoming a legislative candidate has been happening for a long time. In this reform era, a number of celebrities have even become candidates for legislative members registered by political parties. Political parties nominate artists for reasons of urgent pragmatism. Artists have requirements to be quickly accepted by voters. Artists have social and financial capital so that winning works will be easier for artists to do than cadres who may need to work extra hard. So, artists were chosen because of their strategic position to collect votes for parties in the midst of tight competition in the 2019 election. In fact, candidates from among artists cannot always guarantee that they will be an effective means to boost vote acquisition. Abstract

ABSTRACT Studies on religious figures and their role in politics are always interesting to discuss. Because religious leaders themselves have charismatic and religious knowledge that is very attached to them, so that people always talk about religious issues and also other issues including politics. And also using or exploiting religious leaders to win elections is fine, as long as the religious leaders themselves can position themselves as guides in a more positive and better direction. Also, more importantly, the role of religious leaders or kyai in the political arena is not forgetting the noble goal of inviting the public to consciously exercise their right to vote, which of course is to elect a trustworthy leader. The purpose of this research is to find out the role of religious leaders in the 2019 elections. The method used in this research is qualitative research. The role played by religious leaders in winning elections is certainly inseparable from the charismatic authority they have and through the roles and facilities of the role. There are 3 roles played by religious leaders in their roles. First, they act as opinion formers in society. Second, acting as a motivator for the masses, and third, acting as a campaigner.
